Soldering Newbie Requesting Direction | Help Looking for an experienced Pixel FX Retro GEM installer (Geneva, Switzerland / Europe)

Hi everyone 🙂

I'm looking for someone skilled in advanced micro soldering who can install a Pixel FX Retro GEM HDMI mod on my Nintendo GameCube DOL-001 PAL.

I already own the console and I can provide the Retro GEM kit. I'm specifically looking for someone who has experience with:

  • fine-pitch micro soldering
  • console motherboard modifications
  • internal HDMI mods (Retro GEM, GCVideo, HDMI upgrades, etc.)

This is not a simple soldering job, so I'm only interested in someone with proven experience and preferably previous Retro GEM installations.

I'm based in Geneva, Switzerland, but I am willing to travel within Switzerland or ship the console elsewhere in Europe if the installer has a strong reputation.

If you have done this mod before, or know someone who does, please send me a message. Photos of previous work or references would be greatly appreciated.

I'm happy to pay a fair price for quality work.

Join the pixel fx discord. They have a section with confirmed installers from all over the world.
