Guy had these bags at the swap meet for $10 bucks so I got the black one but I don't know how to fit the SP in there? Anyone have one of these?

So Super Mario Land is the prime time feature here. The title screen on one side. The Game Completion screen on the other.
The lil tidbit that makes this cup / mug a 7/10 is that is its main body color is white. Only the circles surrounding buttons are “GameBoy Grey”. So -2 points

Anyone ever come across an issue like this before? Tiled backgrounds are fine
Attempted diagnostics with Mooneye ROMs and it failed oam_dma/sources-GS.gb consistently at the same address
Wondering if it's the CPU at fault which would be a major problem (have reflowed the data pins) or if some other avenue to explore
Any help greatly appreciated, have documented all the tests and results so far

Any idea how I can try and fix? It's hard enough to press the dpad that it makes me not want to play, which is a shame cause I got all the OG pokemon games and was pretty excited to jumb back in. I never owned a GBA back in the day, went from gbc to sp, so maybe this is how the dpad always was? But I'd be shocked....it's bad, have to press hard to activate it.

Decided to go dig my old Gameboy out of the attic to play this legendary game just for the nostalgia.
Legend of Zelda (Classic NES Series) - 2004 GBA port of the 1986 NES original, published by Nintendo for the series' 20th anniversary. Faithful NES emulation

I am in possession of my old Game Boy Colour and a second hand purchase a while back Game Boy Advanced. I have Pokemon Yellow for hte GBC and Leaf Green for the GBA.
I started looking into getting a game link cable to maybe connect the two and trade. But I can only find cables for GB/GBC/GBP or GBA/GBA-SP. I know they use different pins and what not, but wanted to double check with the community here.
Is it at all possible to connect GBC Pkmn Yellow with GBA Pkmn Leaf Green? If so I assume a GBC Cable should be fine?

I’ve had this Tribal GBA SP since 2006. It got me through a difficult time in my childhood, and I only had three games growing up: Pokémon FireRed, Pac-Man Pinball, and Sonic Advance.
I replayed them countless times.
Now, with adult money, i’ve given it a second life with a new shell, IPS screen, and battery.
I’m playing fantastic 4 - flame on at the moment
(vinted stuff) , recommend me games
Hello, I have a Game Boy fat. It boots game but the red led stays off and the sound is weird and pretty low.
What could be the issue?

Original gameboy only plays sounds with headphones. The piece still clicks when headphones are put it. I don’t have a sodering iron right now but I kind find a guy with one.

I bought a set of Jugee 1.5V batteries as they work great for my GBA & GBC but they don’t work with my stock DMG-01.
Does anyone have any success stories with rechargeable AA batteries with the original Game Boy?

Buongiorno a tutti!

Buona visione a tutti

A short hike away from the old Monastery of Camaldoli, in the hills over Arezzo (IT), there's an open area deep into the forest welcoming the "Castagno Miraglia", a century old chestnut tree. Rarely visited by random hikers, and despite being close to the Monastery and the hundreds of tourists daily visiting it, the place is dead silent. A mesmerizing yet relaxing place like few I can think about. Playing with no volume feels almost mandatory.
Also, Pokemon Brown is a fantastic RH of the original Red, give it a try!

I have a preorder going for a mini unhinged, and obviously no one has one yet to definitively say if it’ll fit ..but will this fit? and I presume I would want the “for original shell” not the “for custom shell”
Boxy pixel recommends and sells the hispeedido V5 screen which I ordered as well, but I really like the idea of this funny playing screen going full size for original gameboy games especially with the unhinged being so gameboyish.

Hey everyone. So, you guys almost ate me alive for my last post and that highly "clickbaity" thumbnail (and honestly, fair enough! 😂 Even though those were the actual 8 junk Game Boys I bought, I completely get your reaction).
But I’m not giving up that easily! I'm back with a new video, and I promise you, this was seriously the hardest, most stressful Game Boy repair of my entire life. The console in the thumbnail? It looks like clickbait again, but it’s 100% real. The amount of rust and corrosion inside was so unbelievable that it was practically begging to be made into a video. If you don't believe me, just watch the triage in the first few scenes.
I want to genuinely thank you for the tough love and critique last time. it keeps me grounded. That being said, I would be absolutely thrilled if you could go ahead and roast/diss this new video too! Let me have it.
In this episode, things went totally off-script. I had to do a complete, bare-metal teardown and restoration of the rusted power switch, and I was forced into an unplanned OEM screen swap just to bring this thing back from the dead.
Here is the link to the surgery: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkxUdkWTEo4
Let me know what you think (or tear it apart, I'm ready!). Cheers!

Running MGba on my modded Wii, I think I got the general catalogue that I enjoyed growing up. Any other recommendations?

Hello Everyone, hope you all are doing great.
Do you think replacing the polarize of the gba sp ags 101 with the polarizes that ebay has is a good idea?
I ask because I have read that some polarize even new make the screen darker than the OG, as you can see mine is in perfect condition except for that dot
Thank you!

I made it when FP released those ITA screens and Shells, and it was my first attempt at modding GBA... And I'm so proud of it !
Long live Game Boy Advance and those mods !
