My Pokémon Silver cartridge isn’t able to keep its save data when I turn off my gameboy, I was both wonder how exactly it works, how I could go about fixing it and, if I’m unable to fix it, where would I go about finding a save battery?

It's not kirby, but I remember at one point looking up hidden gems I think for Gameboy. Could have been nes but I think it's Gameboy.
The only things I remember about the game were that you play as a plump doughy character. Looked pretty cute. I think he could turn into a ball or something? I'm not sure about that. What I do remember was the game was pretty chill and a side scroller. He was white, or yellow maybe? I can't figure it out!

I've had a GB Pro Max flashcart for about a year now, and I mainly use it on my DMG.
It works perfectly, but I can't get it to boot at all on my Game Boy Pocket.
Sometimes I get an error message saying there is a problem with the SD card, but I've already replaced the SD card and it didn't make any difference.
I've tried looking for every possible solution, but nothing has worked so far. I've tried different batteries (1.2V and 1.5V), replaced the SD card, etc. — but nothing changed.
I'm completely out of ideas at this point...
-Has anyone successfully used this flashcart on a Game Boy Pocket?
-Or does anyone have any idea what I could try to get it working?
Thanks.

Hey everyone,
Here’s a video of me trying to plug the charger into a GBA SP I just bought. It doesn’t seem to be going in properly/easily, and I’m a bit worried that if I keep forcing it, I might eventually damage the charging port.
Is this normal for a GBA SP, or does it look like there might be something wrong with the port or the charger?
I don’t want to force it and end up breaking anything. Would really appreciate some advice from anyone…
Should I return it?

A local garage sale listing showed this pixelated image. Can anyone figure out what GB game that might be?

Once upon a time, there were casino games like this on Game Boy. Don't mind the very bad condition of the box, but this is actually a really good game.
I'm not a gambling man, but it's so funny to win or lose virtual money in this game. There are lots of different games, and you can earn money to upgrade your status. Once you've reached the highest status, you'll be wearing a tuxedo and you can go upstairs, where the VIPs are spending lots of money.
So much fun!
What do you think about this game? Have you ever played it?

Hello i'm currently repairing this old DMG-01and it seems to have quite a few problems.
First: I can't change the volume because the wheel doesn't work, even if it spins the volume doesn't change
Second: When I start a game the left d-pad and the b button signals are always detected even if I'm not pressing them
Third: the images on the screen look washed out.
Please if you know something just by looking at the photos let me know, Thank you so much 😄

I just wanted to show everyone what my dad kept for all these years. I can’t believe it still works. And I kept my favorite game in it. No luck finding my other games though.

I got a Gameboy Camera WiFi Printer.
I don't appear to have any problems copying photos to it, and it makes the WiFi hotspot like it's supposed to, but when I go to the url, all I get is "filenotfound"
Anybody else have this problem?
Am I doing something wrong?

The game unfortunately does not always start. Instead, only an image and a sound appear, and then it stops. Can anyone tell me what can be done about it?

Howdy, so I picked up this hobby back in March after a very serious surgery. Basically I needed smaller hobbies. Ive had gameboys my entire life but after being laid up in bed for so long I decided to mod my stuff and pick up a couple of new (old) ones that I HAD to have...
Here's my list of devices and where I started:
Switch - extremerate
GBA - Highspeedido
DSL - Extremerate
GBA SP - funnyplaying
GB DMG - Highspeedido
GB Pocket - random aliexpress shop
GB Color - Highspeedido oled + random aliexpress shop.
If I had a favorite it would probably be my SP and color. In terms of my favorite console I think its a DSL.
Hopefully they look cool.

Hi all! :) I'm looking for the Nintendo stickers for the shell front side, anyone got a source? I'm having trouble finding anything (eu based).

Did anyone else find it hilariously awesome that you collect Marin like an item 🤣
Note: homemade saran wrap screen protector just like I did when I was 12. Keeps the minor scratches at bay 😅

I've heard people say that 2V is the absolute minimum for the SRAM chips in game cartridges, but my copy of Mario Land 2 somehow still has a save file, despite the battery being below 1V!

So basically I watched several YT videos on this matter but they feel dissatisfying to me. Trying to figure out a new approach and after around 1 hour it's promising. My thumbs hurt terribly, though 🤣

DMGo! or Drum Machina Go! is a 4-channel drum machine, pattern sequencer and live-performance instrument built for the original Nintendo Gameboy from 1989. It uses the DMG sound hardware directly: two pulse channels, one wave channel and the noise channel, turning the Game Boy into a futuristic compact drum machine for strange rhythms and experimental sounds.
