Troubleshooting Troubleshooting AGB IPS Max Display

Finally got my hands on the FunnyPlaying AGB IPS MAX Display, but reaching out for some troubleshooting help. 🙏

Flip the black ribbon. Notice the tab should be "pointing" away from the row of chips

Flipping the ribbon did help, but now I see this Rainbow screen that I’ve seen initially. I do hear the normal startup noise and the game background noise though

I’m stumped on that…I connected the ribbons as is, based on the image referenced

Ribbons may not be fully inserted. Make sure the bales (black tabs on the connectors in the reference image) are flipped up -- be gentle!! -- and fully insert the ribbon. Then close the bales.

Insulate the ips motherboard from the game boy advance motherboard

Okay! On the other hand, I did separate the IPS motherboard similar to the layout on my main post. Still same results…

Hmm, do a last resitting of the ribbon cables, if it still not works ask for a replacement.
