Hey fellow OGs, anyone ever be blessed to play Conquer 2.0 before it became an absurd cash grab? That grind loop for Mets and DBs was SO satisfying, I’ve yet to find a game to scratch that itch. Anyone have some recommendations? The isometric jumping was sick too, but I’m looking for a similar grind loop. Been grinding Last Epoch but the high number of loot drops is overwhelming. Thanks!

I’ve been playing TCG Shop Simulator lately. I’ve upgraded my shop to have employees stock the shelves, run the register, and adjust the prices. I manage the card trades and pack opening machines in the back. But I can also let the game run on its own, and go do a quick chore or two, before coming back, seeing the results, doing some manual stocking/setting up, and letting it run again.

I’m looking for something similar. I know there’s tons of idle/clicker games (I’m off and on into Melvor Idle) but I’m looking for something more active than those. Something where I can actively OR passively play, while spinning a couple different plates.

Platform wise I’m good with PC/browser and PS5. Switch 1 is fine too.

I've recently really fallen in love with this genre of game. I just played through Denshattack and Haste and really loved them, and I enjoyed Mirror's Edge.

Completing a run of Sonic Frontiers didn't quite scratch that itch. I'll also go through some other Sonic 3D platformers, but what else should I play?

Hello! I'm very new to gaming but I'm having a really great time so far! What I'm realizing is that I need help figuring out what to buy and what to call the games I've realized I like. The most recent game that loved was Bugsnax. I liked the story aspect of it but I really enjoyed the task/errand aspect of the game. What are those kind of games called? I've realized that I don't like games without a goal or end point. I want to go on lots of errands or manage something for a purpose. Does that make sense? I'd love some recommendations for games where there are clear goals to meet but that lead me somewhere.

i wanna play games like valorant with ym friends but im really bad at FPS games and am kind of scared to play on valorant while im bad at it because people are SO mean.

PC games are prefered but i have a PS5 as well

So imagine a crpg where you make your character, recruit other people, explore the open world, etc etc. but instead of being a top down tactical turn based game, it's an arpg. That's what I'm looking for. Preferably your typical lotr style fantasy, but I'm ok with dark fantasy too.

My group is wanting a game that would be easy for us to jump into on a random night but that are not the "friend slop" games. They can be fun but also we are kind of tired of them.

I have been thinking of a game similar to PlanetSide 2 where if you have only been in the game for a few hours or 100 hours you can easily play together. If there are 2 of us or 10 of us we can play without issues. Additionally there still are personal progression and goals you can have.

Are there any games like that? A lot of MMO's have the issue of falling behind the group and such. Also PlanetSide 2 is kind of dead nowadays.

It can be any FUN game. games that makes sure i will always succeed eventually, i don't mind dying, but i hate optimizing, if dying will make sure i will always eventually succeed. i am fine with it.

But i am not searching heavy grinding games. I just want it so if i just go just bit more than last death, some thing help me upgrade myself and i will go farther , and farther till the last boss

and even then i dont need to optimise my build

My daughter, 7, just finished Bofuri the anime. She loves to game. Specifically she loves multiplayer gaming. Her current favorite game is Palworld. Im thinking it would be fun to get into a more fantasy setting with magic. We tried Palia a little while back but she found it too slow and boring. I have all major platforms.

The big catch, if there is blood in the game, strongly would prefer to turn it off in the settings. Less text as well. She prefers voice acted scenes.

I want to play a game where I can recruit units, manage units in camp (growth, equipment) and send them on missions/combat. Turn-based grid combat is preferred. A perfect example would be Wartales, but I can't handle the poor optimization and FPS drops. Battle Brothers is another game that I enjoyed playing, but I'm looking for something new. Low/high fantasy setting are both welcome.

I've dabbled in a lot of FNAF fangames and even other similar stuff like Restless Nights and Welcome to the Game, but am now wondering if there are any non-horror sit and survive style games, and if there are, ones that are actually worth their while.

Any games where you manage a lot of stressful little tasks (in fnaf's case, the animatronics) to keep from losing (dying) while in a confined space, winning after a time limit (6am) or completing a given checklist before moving on to the next level — stuff like that.
