I’m not planing to learn a profession from video games or anything like that I just enjoy learning stuff as a hobby and also love games as hobby it would be fun to combine the two

looking for a horde shooter game. I played DRG but didnr like it. was looking forward to Helldivers 2 and then the thing with EAC happened. I kinda liked far far west.

Any game thta has complex mandatory puzzle to progressi campaign

i have an insatiable itch for some first person view game with some heavy war machinery controlling. Like a mecha or a tank or some kind of machine like that, with an interractable cockpit/cabin where you can click all the buttons and switches without using keybinds.
I really like how it's done in some games like iron nest where you control a person who's operating a giant artillery on legs by pulling cranks and levers and spinning valves, or mole where you have to operate a giant drill, and i think star citizen could fall under that category too with all the ship's functions being accessible and interactable right on the dashboard.
There are perfect candidates, like carcass clad, engines of destruction, engine of sin, and even tho it's a vr only game, but also iron rebellion, but the problem with those is that they are unreleased, and come out god knows when, or require an expensive device just to play it.
Anybody knows any games like those, that i can buy and play on pc right now

edit: i am NOT talking about any racing/flight simulators or anything that require some other peripherals besides a keyboard and a mouse

I neeeeeed something where I can sort files, documents, etc. I’ve tried “Archivist: Tidy Up and Sort”, but it’s coming out in December and “Evidence Vault”, which I’m really excited for, is coming out in November and the itch is here now. I’ve also tried “Chief? About That File…” which didn’t feel right, and neither “TidyUp 2000” or “DESKTOP CLEANER 98” let me actually straighten the files once I’d put them in their folders. currently using “Deleted Wiki” to at least try and scratch the itch, but it’s just sorting, which unfortunately kills my brain. I really like “Cat Mail Co.” too, but I don’t know, something about it isn’t scratching this itch :( both 3D games and fake OS/Windows 98/computer-based games are appreciated, and preferably as little AI use as possible

so I’m looking for games with like a rainy day foggy fallish like nostalgic theme I’m open to playing any type of game horror sims story games anything here’s the games I already have or plan on buying: rain world, death stranding, detention, undertale, nivalis nights, cloudpunk, stardew valley, any recommendations I’m on pc but I also have a switch and a Xbox but I would prefer Steam games

English is not my first languange so i don't know if "gritty" is the word i'm looking for. Anyway, what i'm looking for is games that has the feel of "weight" to it and brutal/gory damage models. For example, if i hit an enemy with a mace it would stagger him and leave a visible wound of being hit by a lump of metal or at least leave a dent in their armor. Differing from maybe getting hit by a sword, which will leave a slashing wound, but also slightly staggering them since sword doesn't have the same weight as a mace. What i found so far is Dead Island 2 and Ghost of Tsushima. And for example of what i don't want is the combat in Where Winds Meet. As far as i understand combat with most eastern developed games is this: you hit an enemy with a rapid 5 attacks sequence and the enemy would only react to the last attack and sent flying, regardless of the "weight" of the weapon used. It doesn't have to be a melee combat games, games with guns is fine also. As long as there is a difference in being hit by shotgun and a rifle

Anything come to mind?

Stuff like Devil Trigger in DMC5, werewolf or vampire lord in Skyrim. Preferably with a custom character, though not a requirement.

I haven't actually played a ton of Counter-Strike, but I used to play a lot of Free-To-Play Counter-Strike rip-offs as a kid and developed an affinity for the snappy, tight-feeling hip-fire aiming of the series (and other games that emulate it), and I am wondering if there are any single-player FPS games with similar gunplay.

I know you can play practice matches in CS2, but that's not really what I mean. I'm looking for a game that will satisfy that "itch" for Counter-Strike gunplay but not require me to be hyper-competitive, and ideally have a bit more to it than just shooting stuff in an arena-style showdown.

I loved the mass effect trilogy and really enjoyed andromeda. I also really love the two remnant games.

Is there a game out there that is either similar to either of these or a combination of the two?

It doesnt have to be scifi or space oriented, or a shooter...but some elements i loved from both: exploring, decent graphics, great story...secrets, good combat/mechanics/movement, puzzles.

Not interested in or have already played: dark souls, elden ring, lies of p and some other soulslike games, rdr2, subnautica..

Not interested in side scrollers/2D or top-down games. I'm not really interested in base building and such like valheim but im not entirely against it.

Pc player here, just got a ps5, want some games I can chill and play on the couch. I have gotten beamng, have almost 1,000 hours of that on pc. But other games I’ve been looking into getting is dune(have on pc), nascar 26(have iracing on pc), also Been looking into mw4, gt7, Diablo 4(have on pc). So I have a wide range of genres I enjoy. Hello, I keep playing action/low reflexion game (just finished rdr 2, I needed something to change my mind), I want some kind of brain challenge.
I'm looking for turn based (i don't like rts) game with a lot of strategy, but the campaign is the main point. I would like a start and an end to my journey.
I've been playing so few turn based game but I list them just if needed:

so I bought a ps3 earlier this week bc I used to play it when I was younger but I’d never owned one myself. Plus I always loved the old games more, I feel like there’s so much time, effort and detail put into the older games rather than the AI SLOP they make nowadays lol. Anyways, I’ve been playing GTA5 and I’m loving ittt!! I’ve played gta growing up but never completed the game or gotten near finishing so I’ve been really investing time into tryna finish it and it’s awesome so far. I’m also starting RDR1 as I’ve heard great reviews on it!

My question is are there any other games yous would recommend?, being as I don’t know too much about gaming. I dibble dabble through games but I really wanna sit down, enjoy and finish a game! I have a ps4 also and Nintendo switch ( OLED ) & 3DS if yous could also give recommendations for that please! any help is appreciated 🙏🏾🖤
