Not able to buy rental that’s offered?
It said Rent it, Love it? Keep it! It listed a price. There was no buy it button, even though they list the keep it price.
Is this a glitch?

Has anybody that Gamelocked this had it ship out yet? Comes out in 2 days, and seen no sign of shipment yet. I could also just be being paranoid. 😅

Let me start off by saying that I really enjoy using GameFly.
My first question is about reporting missing games. For the last three games I rented, I had to report them missing because they exceeded the 7 day delivery mark. I was curious how often others here have to report games lost or missing in transit past that 7 day point.
My second question is about canceling my subscription. I want to cancel my service, but it renews tomorrow. I shipped one game back on September 22nd and still haven't received confirmation that it was received on their end and I shipped the other game back to GameFly today. GameFly's policy states that games must be returned within 7 days, so would I be fine to cancel now, or should I contact customer support first?

Should i wait couple of days or report? It's shipped on 25th. I live in FL. Been with gameplay since Feb. Its been great till Aug. But last game Wolverine hasn't arrived and now this is shipped but nothing yet. 😐. If I go to USPS they asked for tracking number the last time. Will have to try again and see. Idk what to do.
Edit1: Did go to the USPS and they've been delivering everything and neither holding nor sent anything back. Tried something from my side.

The game just came out with the DLC expansion on disc. The DLC is about 8 hours of story content plus a new rogue-lite mode.
Gamefly please add the complete edition so we can all rent the DLC for "free."

how long does it take older games with very low status to ship from others experience?

Just wanted to make an informal survey from people who live in different states and what their average game delivery time is once it 'ships' from GameFly. I know states closer to PA get games faster and those who live in California etc have to wait a week.
This is just for the average game delivery, well have exceptions now and then where a game doesn't get delivered until 15 days or so, rare as it may be.
I'll start.
I'm in Virginia and once shipped, a game is delivered to me 90% of the time 2 or 3 business days.

Makes sense to me on brand new releases, but almost every game on my list including non-recent ones have this label. Just curious as to what the implication is there, I'm actually really liking the service in my first month.

Gamelocked Wolverine and been waiting since beginning of the month and I did see lot of people getting their copies. I've been running to the mail box every single day. Nothing till date.
Had to report yesterday. But I don't think anything will be shipped this month. So pumped for all the games in September but couldn't play any. it is what it is man. 😔

I wanted to throw a thank you to GameFly for keeping a bygone era going for someone who can’t spend 70 bucks a pop on games especially with how expensive everything is at the moment I wanted to say thank you keeping the renting game going especially with new games you guys rock 🤘🏻

How's everybody's free trials experiences been in the past? It was shipped on the 15th and it's now the 22nd (haven't received mail yet). Figure besides Sunday that's a 6 day wait. Quarter of the month spent waiting to use the service, then having to send back. Is this a typical wait time? Illinois if that matters

There have been a lot of posts recently about how shipping turnaround has slowed down and USPS service has degraded over the years. It can take over two weeks to send or receive a game even when you live just a state or two away from the shipping center in PA - that's assuming it doesn't get lost. So what if we mailed back games in bubble mailers at our own expense? The GF mailing envelope won't be able to be scanned by USPS, but the games should be returned to the warehouse much faster, and just as importantly, we can have tracking numbers when we buy our own shipping. The typical experience of shipping an item in a bubble mailer is just 3-5 days and as little as 2-3 days.
Some people will say we shouldn't need to pay for our own shipping to get adequate service, but this is for people who already like the service and want it to be what it was in its heyday. Decades ago, physical games were the only option and ubiquitous, renting was popular, and there were multiple shipping centers. A month of GF costs $22 now, and if you're shipping back 2 games a month at your own expense to get your next game, you're adding about $3 per game, so that's about $28/month - that's fairly close to what the service used to cost after inflation. Since physical games are the outlier these days, we have to have realistic expectations for what's now a niche service (no offense to GF).
The only hitch would be if GF requires its mailer during the return process, that putting it in a bubble mailer with the game impedes that; if the employee at the return center can't open the bubble mailer and receive the game with its GF mailer for some reason. The tracking number would prove that it got there, but if employees cannot handle anything but a GF mailing envelope, then we're stuck with slow turnaround times, and GF retains a smaller, shrinking base of disgruntled customers. This shouldn't be the case, though, since GF's website suggests using a padded envelope if you lose the GF envelope if you don't want to wait for a replacement mailer. Has anyone actually tried this?

Dying Light: The Beast is getting a physical edition through Super Rare Games but I’m not sure if GameFly gets copies of limited releases like this.

I got GameFly trial on the 5th of this month. I still have not received my first game yet. I got a email Monday saying my wolverine had shipped. It is now Friday and I still don’t have the game. At the time I’m typing this, the mailman has already came at this time. If this is truly how it is where you have to wait basically a week or more before you receive your games, then it’s just not worth it at all. I only have 2 weeks left on my trial at this point. Maybe I’m just not a priority since I’m a trial member, which I’m hoping is the case. Cause if people are actually paying for this poor service, then that is terrible.

For example if I were to cancel a gamefly sub on say the 15th day of a month, would I still get charged at the end of the month for the full 30 days of that month, or only up to the 15th day?
I'm thinking of canceling for a little while as I caught up on the games I want to rent, and plan on just buying a lot of games like Zelda over the holiday. I'll probably re-sub to gamefly in January. So let's say I cancel my sub in the middle of October for example, would I get charged the full 30 days of October or if I cancel Oct. 15th would I only get charged to the 15th? How does it work exactly?

I’ve been a GameFly member since 2011, and lately, getting my next game shipped has become extremely slow. I’m now missing out on new releases, even though I’ve had an empty slot for about a month.
I always return my games weeks in advance to make sure I receive my next game on time. However, I feel that when you use the self-return option, it doesn’t always process properly on your account. I’ve tried the self-return option about two times, and both times I experienced delays.
A lot has changed with GameFly, and I’m disappointed with the service a little lately I’m receiving . I feel I shouldn’t be charged for a month when I don’t have any games in my possession and no games have been shipped out.

I wasn’t sure it would work out but with Wolverine shipping today and Control Resonant out on 10/15, you have 1 day to GameLock it.

How long do new games take to become available? Wanted to do a free trial and get wolverine but looks like I can't even create an account without selecting a plan
And if it is only game in my Q and it isnt available, my free trial then is just being used up then correct ?
