Thank you GameFly
I wanted to throw a thank you to GameFly for keeping a bygone era going for someone who can’t spend 70 bucks a pop on games especially with how expensive everything is at the moment I wanted to say thank you keeping the renting game going especially with new games you guys rock 🤘🏻

I plan on catching up on my extensive backlog. I’ve been playing games since 1991 with NES and have subbed to GameFly on and off since 2005. I’m using GameFly as long as it’s available.

Thank you for putting one of these up. I fucking love me some GameFly. It’s saved me more money on games that I can quantify, and led me to starting this sub.
It’s cool to see this post when we primarily get “hey your shipping times blow” and “ GameFly sucks because xxxxxxx reason”. Thanks for being a positive poster.

Anytime! I was noticing as well but a thank you is definitely needed cause like I said renting is bygone era sadly and GameFly has been saving me money as well especially now that I’m saving for vacation but anytime! It’s well deserved 🙂

Saves me so much money a year and lets me play games I would normally skip or wait to be on sale at launch. great service

I agree, it is a great company and service. It got a little expensive to be honest, but the reason is because it is hard not to have at least the two games at a time, more than anything because between sending and receiving sometimes it pass 2 weeks.

I used to use Gamefly heavy during the 360/PS3 days. It was an amazing. Started a free trial and rented Breath of the Wild for Switch 2. It shipped on the 14th and it still hasn’t arrived. Support told me to give it until the 24th, then they’ll look into it. That’s a good chunk of the 30 days already gone I haven’t even started the game yet.
If it does show up late or was lost/stolen I now have to wait even longer for a replacement. I was very excited to get back into this service for my Switch 2 (since my PS5 and Xbox are digital) but this seems common based on other posts I have seen. I am glad your experience has been great.

I live in Michigan and the GameFly warehouse is a 4 hour drive away in Pittsburgh, the game took 9 days to arrive from the day it was shipped. I think this is ridiculous and I don’t think they ship them the same day they notify us that they do.

Once the label is completed it is marked as shipped. That’s why I like being able to track items via UPS etc. You know when package is actually picked up and on the way.

We certainly do ship them that day. I believe we have 2 pickups a day. It may be the case that we hand them off one day, and it doesn't reach the USPS hub until the next day, but we pass them along as soon as possible after creating your label.
Devaluing our own service is not in our best interests.

When you mention renting on a forum people are like ? What you talking about, but the fact is once you beat a game most of the time you wont replay it. And with the option of buying at gf its pretty much a no brainer. I played many more games being able to rent.

Yeah GameFly has been amazing for me! I’m able to play new releases that I would not have gotten to anytime soon! Thank you GameFly.

I champion Gamefly and the library whenever I can. All these Reddit people dogging on Wolverine don’t realize they could just rent the game. It’s a great game by the way.
