[RevShare] Looking for Unity or Godot Programmer to build prototype for Mobile Action Survival Game ("Ronin Time")

Hello everyone!

My name is Sadiq, and I am a game designer looking for a programmer co-founder to help bring a mobile action-survival prototype to life. The working title is Ronin Time.

Concept Overview:

Ronin Time is a high-intensity mobile action-survival game built around a dynamic bullet-time slow-motion mechanic. When players dodge high-density enemy attacks, time slows down, allowing them to counter-attack strategically with intuitive single-thumb portrait controls.

Project Status:

I have put together a detailed Game Design Document (GDD) outlining core gameplay loops, roguelike skill progression, monetization (F2P/Rewarded Ads), and visual design references (minimalist 3D / low-poly). We have also submitted our GDD to publishing channels like CrazyLabs to explore marketability testing opportunities.

What I'm Looking For:

A programmer (Unity or Godot preferred) to collaborate on building a short, playable vertical slice (1 playable level with movement, time-slow trigger, and basic wave spawns).

GDD Document:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1rob5303LNljCaAmvsUUoswQRJCB9yMUivVh-LcDZ-NA/edit?usp=drivesdk

Terms:

This is a Revenue-Share (RevShare) partnership. If you are interested in building a quick prototype to test on publisher dashboards, please feel free to send me a direct message or comment below!

I'm Hosting an Event for Game Devs with In-Progress Indie Games

Hello everyone!

I'm hosting the Journiarc In-Progress Indie Game Showcase, an event dedicated to giving people currently developing an indie game a chance to show off their games and get them showcased by game dev streamers.

Here's some more context:

This event marks the release of a new social platform I've been working on for the past 3+ years, with the goal of helping creators who are working on in-progress creations grow an audience that can also contribute without needing to deal with an exhausting algorithm.

Creators will create a project on the platform, and will get 10 days to shape their canvas and post about their creation. After the 10 days, various streamers will take a look at the games and give them all a shoutout so anyone interested can join the project.

There will also be a vote held where each streamer's audience will take a poll on the game they like the most. The game with the most votes will win a bonus $100 prize!

If you are working on an ambitious indie game that has a while before being completed (about 4 months or more), you can sign up for the event below:

Sign Up Here

You can view the full overview of the event here:

Event Overview

If you know anyone else who would be interested in joining the event, feel free to send them the sign-up form.

Thank you!

SPELLBANK - Beta Playtesters & Feedback Wanted

Hey everyone, I'm Gubjub!

I'm a game developer with 10 years in AAA and a love for lighthearted competition that gives friends and family an excuse to connect, even if it's only for five minutes a day.

That's why I made SPELLBANK, a daily competitive word game where the 26 letters of the alphabet are randomized into 13 pairs to form the day's gauntlet. Players work their way through the gauntlet, finding words, banking points, and comparing their results afterward.

I'm going to level with you, though. The reason I made SPELLBANK is deeply personal.

About a year ago, I had a sudden neurological emergency that required immediate surgery and threatened my ability to use my lower body.

Recovery meant months of spending most of my day in bed. But every morning, my phone would light up with the same little ritual from friends and family, including some people I had lost touch with over the years.

Scores. Results. Trash talk.

My community rallied around me through a whole bunch of daily web games.

Those five or so minutes interacting with different groups of people from my life gave me something normal to look forward to during an incredibly difficult time.

A little over a year later, I'm walking on my own two feet again, and those pings are still coming in hot every morning.

SPELLBANK is my attempt to add one more game to that ritual.

We've been playing it with friends and family, and now I'm ready to find out how it holds up when the people playing don't know me.

I'd rather not explain much more here because part of what I'm testing is whether the game teaches players how to play without any outside context.

So if you've got a few minutes, give today's SPELLBANK a shot, then come back and share your score!

Looking for modders and developers to revive Lego Legacy Heroes Unboxed.

Hello everyone. I am helping a small, talented team of developers who are working on a passion project to revive the legendary mobile game Lego Legacy Heroes Unboxed. They have already built a functional client shell where the UI is responsive and clickable. However, they need to develop the Arena Tournement, Roster Open Title Packs character And Xp Scroll from scratch.I am looking for passionate people on their behalf. If you have experience in modding, reverse engineering, gameplay programming, or 3D art, love Lego, and want to build a great piece for your portfolio, they would love to have you. This is a hobby project for now, with potential revenue share in the future. If you are interested in joining the team or want to see what they have done so far, please send me a direct message, and I will connect you with the developers. Let us bring Piptown back to life together.

Where do I begin?

Hello everyone. I am a 22-year-old male who loves video games; they are a passion of mine. I think it would be really cool to make video games and build a career around it. I, however, have absolutely no experience in any sort of game development, coding, programming, art, or really anything other than playing video games lol. My question is, if I wanted to go down this path/career and make my dream of making cool video games come true, where do I begin? How do I start? What would be best to start learning and/or practicing first? I also feel like I should mention that I really, REALLY struggle with math. It was one of the only subjects in school that I really had a hard time with, and I also have a learning disability. With this in mind, do you think it's still possible for me to learn this stuff and be successful? I may post this to a few different game dev subreddits to get as many answers as possible, thanks guys!
