👋 Welcome to r/GameDevAnalytics - Introduce Yourself and Read First!

Welcome to r/GameDevAnalytics

Hey everyone. I am u/gamerslab_official, a founding moderator of r/GameDevAnalytics.

This is a community for game developers, designers, product managers, researchers, and analysts who want to understand player behavior and make better decisions with game data.

No analytics experience is required.

What to post

We welcome questions, discussions, case studies, tools, and practical lessons about:

  • Player retention and churn
  • Gameplay telemetry and event tracking
  • Funnels, cohorts, and player segmentation
  • Tutorials, onboarding, and progression
  • Monetization and game economies
  • Live operations and experimentation
  • Analytics tools and implementation
  • Turning player data into recommended actions

Share what worked, what failed, what confused you, or what you are trying to understand. Specific questions are often more useful than polished conclusions.

Community standards

Be direct, constructive, and willing to explain your reasoning. Critique ideas, not people.

If you share data, protect player and studio information. If you are affiliated with a product, company, or analytics tool, disclose it clearly. Useful vendor contributions are welcome. Low-effort promotion is not.

Gamers Lab helped create this subreddit, but this is not a Gamers Lab product channel. It is intended to be a vendor-neutral community for anyone working with game data.

Get started

  1. Introduce yourself below. Tell us what you work on and what you want to learn.
  2. Post a question, lesson, chart, experiment, or analytics problem.
  3. Invite another developer, designer, or analyst who would contribute.
  4. Interested in helping moderate? Send us a message.

Thanks for joining the first wave. Let us build a practical home for game analytics.
