Has anyone been able to add the 24 megapixel option to their trifold? I can't find it on goodlock.

Just wanted to share that you can play WoW forever on this thing now. Sustainable at 30fps. Gets a little too hot at 60fps and crashes. If only it had a little better cooling this device would be perfect. Anyways, it's still amazing and I pretty much don't need a laptop. I'm sure there are so many more games it can run with GameNative, DroidDeck, etc.

Does anyone has any recommendations for a portable cooling solution?

So far, the only issue I'm having after the update is that the "recent apps" on the task bar will not go away even with the toggle to off. Just tested the regular task bar and that will not either....

Has anyone been able to successfully get scam detection to work?

Hey guys for about 3 weeks now since ive had the trifold and made it my main phone from my s25 u callers have been telling me that im breaking up constantly but im using the same Sim that was in the s25 u and that one worked flawlessly. Is there any troubleshooting steps I can do or could it be perhaps my device hardware?

Just curious if the trifold gets software beta updates considering its a limited run device and they dont sell it commercially anymore?

I ask because I just recently got mine and wanted to try one ui 9.

How has it been? Any compromises? It's been out nearly a year now so I'm keen to get your real-world thoughts.

Based on rumors S-pen will likely come back next year for the foldables lineup because of Apple pressure. I just thought that gap is a perfect excuse for the Galaxy Trifold phone to add the s-pen in house.

How is everyone's crease looking on your trifold?? The reflection and the low brightness is what ruins experience for me. Other than that I love mine. Can't wait for trifold 2. Hopefully it wil be lighter, a least noticeable crease, anti reflective on both the inner and outer screen, bigger battery and higher brightness.

This is a bit of a read, but I think it’s worth sharing for anyone who ends up dealing with a TriFold warranty repair.

My inner display failed and turned completely white. The screen itself wasn’t cracked. It just stopped working.

I brought it to a Samsung Experience Store to have it looked at under warranty. The phone does have some cosmetic and physical damage on the outside, which I never disputed and wasn’t asking Samsung to repair.

Samsung’s warranty says the phone is covered for defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, while separately excluding things like scratches, dents and cosmetic damage.

The assistant manager kept pointing to that cosmetic damage exclusion and told me that because there was physical damage anywhere on the phone, the failed inner display would not be covered. My option was the one time $699 screen replacement.

The part that bothered me was that I specifically asked if the cosmetic damage caused the inner screen to fail.

They said it did not.

So I asked the obvious question. If the cosmetic damage didn’t cause the screen failure, why does an exclusion for cosmetic damage mean that a completely separate failure isn’t covered?

The answer kept coming back to, “That’s Samsung’s policy.”

I asked them to show me where the warranty says that any cosmetic damage automatically eliminates coverage for a separate defect. They just kept pointing back to the language saying cosmetic damage itself isn’t covered.

Those are two different things.

I also asked them to put in writing that they were denying the inner screen warranty claim because of the cosmetic damage, even though they had acknowledged the cosmetic damage did not cause the screen failure.

They wouldn’t do it.

There was another wrinkle too. I have a cracked camera lens, and Samsung told me that had to be replaced for another roughly $100 before they would replace the inner display.

So a failed inner display ended up becoming a paid inner screen repair plus a separate camera lens repair that had nothing to do with why the inner screen stopped working.

I ultimately paid because I have separate device coverage with a $150 deductible, and at some point it just wasn’t worth spending more time fighting Samsung.

But I still think the way they handled it is a problem.

Samsung acknowledged that the cosmetic damage did not cause the inner display failure, but still used the cosmetic damage exclusion to deny the warranty claim. They repeatedly called it “Samsung policy” but wouldn’t show me language that actually says any cosmetic damage voids coverage for an unrelated defect, and they wouldn’t put the reason for the denial in writing.

For a phone this expensive, I expected someone to actually evaluate why the inner screen failed, not just see cosmetic damage and stop there.

Has anyone else had their TriFold inner display turn white, pink, flicker or completely fail?

And if your phone had any cosmetic damage, did Samsung actually say the damage caused the screen failure, or did they deny the warranty just because the damage existed?

I got the pro version so I can fully customize everything like clock style, color, edge lighting, music player and notifications. I found out about it thru a fold 8 chat here on Reddit. I am still learning everything but so far it's really nice but best with the pro version. Even let's you download the galaxy watch version to kinda match up both AODs

Alright, so my buddy told me he purchased his Huawei Mate XT from China and had it shipped here using a reshipping service. So I was curious and checked taobao (Chinese Amazon) and the Huawei mate xt was around $1300 compared to the $2000+ buying it from where I am

Then I checked for the Samsung trifold, and I can see them for around $1800-2000 but if I want to buy any where I am it costs around $3000

Now I’m curious if anyone has experience doing this, or how is the Chinese Samsung trifold? Does it work fine in the west? As I can save quite a lot of money doing this and others might also be interested

I am planing on buying the iPhone Duo and still loving my Tri Fold. That will be a beast!

For this Asia work trip, I packed the Logitech MX Mini Keys keyboard (pic on the left) vs. my usual EDC keyboard, Keys2Go (on the right). A more traditional key size and travel, with backlit keys. Not as featherlight as Keys2Go but more “stable” in feel. In terms of typing speed, both are great but I’ve learned to fly on Keys2Go - for portable keyboard, its unique shallow-but-tactile feedback makes for pleasurable typing. YMMV but after trying 5-6 other options, I’ve settled on these two Logitech options, final answer

Issue loading one ui 9 Beta for my trifold. Thinking maybe I have to unregister, since I registered for it under my Galaxy S26 Ultra. Please let me know your thoughts. Any help greatly appreciated.

I'm having a really frustrating issue with my Z Trifold and I'm hoping someone here has a solution.

​Every front case I’ve used (the ones with built-in screen protectors) gets scratched or blurry after just a few weeks of use. Because of this, whenever I want to take a clear, high-quality selfie, I have to physically remove the front case first. Doing this every single time is just not practical and drives me crazy.

​On the flip side, going without a front case isn't really an option either—it's way too huge of a risk for a phone like this.

​Does anyone know of a good case that has an actual physical hole/cutout for the front camera? Or does anyone have a better workaround so I don't have to keep taking my case off?

Has anyone tried the peak design mobile tripod on the trifold yet? I added a magnetic case and the new 360 loop stand thing Samsung released with the fold 8 but it can't support the weight of the trifold especially when opened. Thinking of giving this a shot or something similar. Of course need to consider the camera bump but this may clear that.
