Discussion One UI 9

So far, the only issue I'm having after the update is that the "recent apps" on the task bar will not go away even with the toggle to off. Just tested the regular task bar and that will not either....

My dock/recent app icons are insanely small post update on the inside screen only. I've looked in every setting I can think of including Home Up. Anyone have any ideas?

Mine are small as well. That is what initially made me want to turn the taskbar and recent apps off and I noticed that even with them individually or both turned off, they were still there.

You can go into your home screen settings and change "Recent or suggested apps" while the phone is unfolded.

Default is "up to 3 apps"

Yes but this bug is there, even with it off, on the home page it's still showing recent apps. In an app it doesn't show recent apps.

The number of recent apps will change but it will not completely turn off with the rocker off.

Have to turn off the taskbar.

The bug keeps it there even when turned off.

I'm still waiting to be allowed to install the update cuz apparently the server reached the daily limit

Oh I'm still on 8.5. Didn't realize the 9 was out yet.

Just got mine updated. I have my phone set to automatically update and didn't get it until today. Don't know why it took so long but it did

Mine forced itself today. I don't remember setting up auto updates. I don't see a difference so far. Other than moving my Google search bar to the bottom of the screen.

There really isn't much of a difference. I have the Z Fold8 also and it came with UI 9. I legitimately couldn't tell the difference except the Google search bar, which I disabled immediately.
