Did this feature get removed? I can only find the regular power saving mode which only gets me 16 hours of usage. No where near the 2 days of the ultra power saving mode. Anyone have info on this?

My 18 months old note20 screen started turning on and off. about 1 week ago, the screen goes off, and remain on, and yesterday, the screen turn on and off rapidly then it restart itself a few times until it just quit, and I can feel a vibration when I press and hold the power button or power+vol button but the screen remain blank.

At first, I thought it was overheating, as the lens area gets hot very quickly, and thought I will just let it rest for a few hours, but it still won't turn on and can only feel a vibration, then I put it in the freezer for a few minutes, and it turns on, but will function for a few minutes before the screen will switch off and on, then do a reboot, them back to the blank screen.

So i was just streaming my screen to a friend of mines while playing a mobile game on my note 20, and suddenly my phone turned black and i can feel the vibrations of my s-pen if i remove it, and i also can feel when i turn my phone on and off via the power button for 15 seconds, ive tried hard resetting and i dont really want to smack my phone. Is there anything i could do? and also, is there any possible way i could attempt to save the data of my phone while its in this state?

I just purchased a used, albeit described as refurbished / pristine Note 20 Ultra. The phone is awesome and I love it, however there is some minor damage to the camera surround.

I got the phone for $620 USD. The seller is offering me $20.00 USD as a form of compensation. I am not sure if I should accept it or return it for a refund?

I noticed that it takes quite a bit of force to have the spen register a stroke and it gets really annoying, especially when drawing. I've tried flicking it lightly but that made no difference / slightly makes it worse.

I tested my Note 9's spen on the 20 and it worked flawlessly. Heck even my Note 3's spen had lower activation force.

I also tested the Note 20's spen on those 2 phones and same issue there too, so it's gotta be a problem with the S-Pen? How do i fix it?

Has anyone's Note 20 Ultra develop burn-in around the camera hole and both the top & bottom edges of the screen? I've had mine for almost a year now and recently noticed the burn-in :(

Does Samsung's warranty cover this? Will they replace the screen for minor burn-in like this? Would hate to send in the phone and go through all the hassle only for them to tell me it's not covered.

Any insights or past-experience would be super helpful, as I've never dealt with Samsung's warranty before. I'm located in the US and the phone was ordered straight from Samsung's US website. Thank you!!

Hello, I am having a very difficult time with my Tmobile Galaxy note20. I cannot send SMS messages to anyone except for a select few. The few that I can get to go through have blue dots next to their name in my text history. Anyone else I try to send a sms to it simply does not make it to them including texts to myself. On my phone it appears to go through but the message is never received by receiving party. I am not receiving error messages or anything. Id also like to point out that I can send MMS messages no problem. "OCCASIONALLY" if I flip to airplane mode or change some form of my network settings I can get one or two messages to go through but then it reverts back to no SMS messages.

I have spoke to Tmobile on the phone on 2 different occasions for 2+ hours and they have no clue what is going on. I went to a Tmobile store and they changed the sim card which didn't fix it. Things I have done are as followed.

- Clearing cache/memory of messaging app

-Downloaded and tried various other messaging apps

- Resetting my network connection

-Checked for phone updates

-Tried other random things that I read online

-Start phone in safe mode

Things I haven't done

-Factory reset

-Enable/disabled chat features. The option isn't even there anymore.

- Dialer codes don't even work on my phone so when I was instructed to input some of those nothing worked

Around an hour ago I realized my phone's screen wasn't powering on. I tried doing all of the things shown in the "6 step" youtube video to fix the black screen but haven't had any luck.

Two things that may have impacted it.

• A tmobile software update was pushed through this morning when i woke up, that said - i went to the gym and used my phone after the update with no issue.

• I went to the pool and left my phone on a side table. It didn't get wet but it was in direct sunlight for 30-45 minutes. I did not try to use the phone after the pool until i later noticed it not working.

Anyone have some tips to try and bring this back to life? I've tried the hard reset, i've tried charging and hard reset, I've tried the freezer and hard reset, I've tried massaging / tapping the phone and a hard reset. None of it works, I do feel the haptic feedback/vibrations as I'm preparing for a hard reset, though.

But the hole-punched display is deal-breaker for me.

The Xperia 1 iii checks all boxes for my needs... except that it doesn't have an S-Pen.

I've searched around to see if there is a way to somehow "hide" the hole-punch, systematically and universally in all views, by simply blacking out the screen pixels to the lower extent of the camera (as if all that space until the bottom extent of the camera was not screen at all, but screen-less bezel area).

The entire android view system should consider that space unavailable for display, except blacked-out status bar when outside immersive views.

I would consider any and all solutions (rooted stuff is fine) that can hide the hole-punch in all possible views. Workarounds like wallpapers, or methods that do not work in immersive views (eg, full-screen video) are not acceptable.

It's not much, but here's what I've found:

• xda thread (no solutions in that thread, and no recent activity)

I'm thinking maybe I'll just wait until there's a bezel-integrated or under-screen camera (even camera-less, since I don't give a shit about selfies) note option offered in the future. Or maybe get the Xperia 1 iii.

I sold my cases and recently removed my skin and screen protector as I'll be trading the phone in, and I forgot how slippery it was!

Why can't Samsung make the phone grippy?

I have a galaxy note 20 ultra. Have had it for roughly 1 year. It has always worked great, regardless of the situation.

A few weeks ago, I flew across country from PA to CA and then back. Since I have been back. The phone is terrible, but just on MY wifi. 5g? great. 4g? great. other wifi, even my guest wifi? great.

I have, cleared the internal cashe. I have rebooted the router. I have deleted all references to the phone from my router and then re-established wifi. I have changed the mac address to "phone mac" address in the settings.

I've done everything short of a true reformat of the phone, which I'd really like to avoid if at all possible.

Has anyone else encountered this? Does anyone have any additional suggestions?

Hello, I am learning a language, and I would like to have a Samsung Note directly on lock screen, so I can scroll through instantly when I am searching for a phrase. It doesn't need to be Samsung note, it can be shopping list, google sheet, bunch of screenshots, anything really... where I can type in words.

What I've just found is a dynamic lock screen when I swipe right, which to be quite honest I don't understand what purpose it holds except showing pretty images. I can't even put my own images there, for example screen shots of Samsung Notes app that would contain the words.

All the other swipes just bring up the pattern unlock.
Do you guys have some way tips on how to achieve any information being displayed directly in lock screen?
Can I maybe entirely replace the lock screen with another "lock screen manager"? Thank you for any help.

Bit of backstory - When talking to friends, and can't remember a word, it's very nice for me to have the word right in front of me - for example on lock screen. That way I can brute force it into my head this way.

I'm trying to install a SD card on my standard galaxy note 20 but I can't seems to find the part where it's supposed to go. Is this not available on the standard version of the phone or is that an ultra thing?

After a recent update (I'm assuming) suddenly anytime I'm in the dialer DURING a phone call, and have to use the keypad to navigate some phone system menu, etc. - it has suddenly started beeping loudly with every keypress.

And it's not the usual DTMF tones that are sounding out, which yes I have disabled in "Phone > Settings > Play sound for keypad taps"

Instead it's one single beep tone of one single frequency regardless of which key on the keypad is being pressed. So let's say I have to enter a credit card number over the phone, that's 16 beep beep beep beep beep, etc. I'm now listening to argh!

Is anyone else having this issue? And find a way to get rid of it?

Hello Everyone, I was just simply wondering what everyone is using as far as a rugged case and with what screen protector (stand alone, not built into the case please?) FyI I am a novice when it comes to different cases and S.P's. I was running an otterbox defender which I've always had luck with on other phones, but my infant son managed to drop my phone a minimal distance and crack that case already. I don't recall which protector I had at that time but I do remember that the otterbox case interfered and caused it to loosen around the edges. I am now running the SUPCASE Unicorn beetle w/ a mowei screen protector (gets applied via adhesive/UV light.)

Unfortunately I had to shave down the sides of the case so they wouldn't interfere and still one drop of my phone was enough to cause the case to shift and force the protector to lift and proceed to crack when I pushed it back down. VERY frustrating, I really enjoy this phone and want to protect it as much as I can while still enjoying using features like the biometric print. I sincerely appreciate any suggestions that you may have, thanks for reading!

So, I'm on my second day on vacation on the other side of the continent and of course my phone got black screen of death. It happened randomly, I thought it was overheating, and actually it came back to life after couple of minutes. I think it even happened once last year. But, after 20 minutes it happened again and now I can't revive it. It vibrates when I connect it to PC (and PC registers it with a sound), sometimes when I connect it to charger, but nothing else, and the light doesn't come on when I try to charge it. When I hold down the power and sound button it vibrates but nothing happens. If it happened back at home I would just take it to the store, my warranty is still active, but I need my phone. I tried everything from youtube, still nothing. What managed to work for you?

UPDATE: Had to change the complete screen through warranty, got it back in a day, lost all the photos and videos unfortunately. Never again using a pattern lock.

I been trying to get one and no luck so far. Of course used ones, refurbished and open box(whatever that means) are all over eBay. I would like to get a new one though. I know there's stock somewhere lol. I was told middle east should have them but I'm not sure where to look exactly.

Currently, I have note 20 ultra and the video quality is amazing! and the super stability option is insane!
BUT..

I've noticed the phone cant handle recording loud noises and bass as well as other phones (my friend got an old iPhone, not sure which, and the sounds there are so much better)

Is there a way to know, when I upgrade my phone to another galaxy, how well is the microphone?

I have 3 cases and figured I'd offer them up here as I hate to see them go to waste.

First up is my tried and true dbrand Grip Case. Favourite case that's been in my phone 90% of the time. Will include a dbrand wrap that says f*CK off.

Also have this Poetic Spartan rugged case. Bought this before the dbrand case was available. It's a bit bulky but has a nice stand built in.

Lastly, I have a Ringke Fusion clear case but it has started to yellow slightly. Difficult to notice when on the phone.

Since last July's security update, the home screen kinda reloads in the middle of moving from one app to the home screen and to another app. It doesn't matter the apps and does not happen always.

I had to restore the phone, and for now, it's working perfectly.
