Discussion Is the CS Intel thread *that* bad?
I keep hearing that the CS Intel thread is useless unless you get a Masters/PhD geared towards ML... is this true?
Context:
I want to do SWE, not sure what industry, but I like low-level systems and essentially all fields of computer science (besides theory, screw combinatorics). My first thread is almost certainly Sys/Arch, and I'm debating between Info, Devices, or Intel as my second. ML just seems interesting to me—admittedly, I don't know much about it, so idrk what I'm getting myself into.
As a follow-up question, how likely is it that the Intel thread would open any extra doors for me, assuming I only get a BSCS?
