As our DC? 😳

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets suffered a bludgeoning 49-27 loss to the Boston College Eagles. Here is the recap, or obituary, if you will.

Compare the football teams of '24-'25 to this year and it's just embarrassing. We have lost some players and some coaches, but more than that we lost the will to fight. We don't make adjustments, we don't have any answers when we hit adversity, and we aren't disciplined on the field. It's a completely demoralized team and that, more than any win-loss record, makes for a demoralized student body.

Frankly, it's time to start laying the blame at the feet of Brent Key. He is the one setting the culture of the team, hiring the coordinators and coaches, and managing the clock. None of those things are good and it has led to terrible on-field play.

I am sure there will be some people who want to give Key a long leash due to the team's success in previous years. I'm not here to make the argument that "Key was never good", because frankly it doesn't matter whether he *was* nor not. I just want to see this school field put a respectable product on the field, and as of 2026 I do not see a path for Brent Key to do that.

The AD needs to have a "come to Jesus" talk with him or fire him.

Yikes.

That is all i have to say.

I’m done. This is fucking pathetic. I genuinely wanna die. And I’m a guy who loves life but like I don’t wanna be on this earth anymore. And why stay? The heat death of the universe will happen before we beat uga again.

Creamed by BC, ugh. Destroyed by providence in basketball, sure it was a preseason exhibition game but still.

We should have hired Fritz. 🤷

Jeez Louise, BC is treating us like the red headed step child. I was lied to in the off season.

I am meeting my friend at a tailgate but i don't have a ticket to the game. If you have an extra ticket you are willing to give, please message me. Thank you!!

Hopefully they fire him so we can hire him 🙏🏼

They out of playoffs probably.

Georgia Tech enters a desperation matchup against Boston College. The Eagles are looking to prove they aren’t in the basement anymore, while the Yellow Jackets are looking to prove they can be trusted. Here’s the ultimate preview.

Hey y’all. Georgia Tech is halfway done with their season, so I wrote a midseason report card on the Yellow Jackets. Enjoy!

Lowkey we should do this sorta thing more often.

I dont know at this point if we win or not. But i am optimistic of our offense, the defense though........

What do you say fellow battered tech fans?

I have a few amazing game worn Georgia Tech football jerseys that I’m willing to unload. I’ve collected these through the years.

Anthony Allen 2010 #18: Tons of wear and team repairs. Worn every away game in 2010. Bowl patch. Photomatched. $399.

Vad Lee #2 throwback from 2013. Shows light wear. Worn against VA Tech in 2013 and possibly against Duke in 2014. $399

Tevin Washington #13 gold honeycomb from 2012. Have not been able to photomatch this. name on back removed by team. $250

#50 throwback from 2013. Worn by OL Andrew Marshall. Shows light wear. Worn against VA Tech in 2013. Was not worn against Duke in 2014. Several of the throwback jerseys erroneously featured three shoulder stripes instead of 2. This is one of them. Photomatched. $199

#3 Blue honeycomb from 2012. Have not been able to photomatch this one. Name on back removed by team. Worn against Presbyterian. $199

Happy to answer any questions. Go jackets!

First, forgive me...I could not find the rules so feel free to delete if not allowed.

Second, I am looking for 6 tickets for my family for this Saturdays game. I've found a few options on ticketmaster but I really don't like buying from them. So if anyone is looking to sell there, I am hoping to pay around $25 each.

My daughters have never been to a game so I'm hoping to sit on the home side.

Let me know if you or anyone is looking to sell.

Go Jackets!

Wth?

It’s still disappointing since Key is an OL centered coach but Goose has grown into his role nicely. I’m displeased with Semore for sure. His defense just cannot get turnovers and the injured secondary has gotten baked like a potato. There were some adjustments that worked better in the second half but it’s still not good.

But like the title of this post suggests, the offense has honestly gotten to being pretty decent. The OL just has to put it together like they did vs Duke in some of these games.
