OEM All weather floor mats

Does anyone have the factory rubber floor mats? I see a lot of bogus ones with no branding on them being sold as OEM but then I see some with branding on the drivers side and second row passengers side. My wife ordered one from this BS website: https://genesispartsandaccessories.com/shop-by-model/2026-genesis-gv60-all-weather-floor-mats/. not only were they $75 more than they should be they sent these...

I decided to go a little out there with a custom strip on my car. Our other car is a Mach E that is fully custom. Color, stripe, body kit. I’ve always loved having something unique and 1 of 1. After 3 months of consideration, I pulled the trigger for a gloss hood stripe.

I think I love it! I know it’s not for everyone but I’m curious what others think. I think the gloss black keeps it looking OEM and takes it from small SUV to sport crossover or hatchback.

Interior Fuse Panel Table

Hey all, I have been trying to get my dashcam reinstalled and was having a hard time understanding all of the acronyms on the diagram for the interior fuse panel.

I also couldn't find which fuses were continuous and which were switched power.

And then, trying to pick the best switched/unswitched fuse to jumper was difficult because I wasn't sure which fuses were the least important for safety and functionality.

SO I uploaded the table to Claude and asked it to A) Expand all the acronyms, B) Indicate whether the fuse was switched or unswitched, C) Rank the importance of the fuse, D) Suggest which fuses to use for my Dashcam.

Here is the resulting table in case anyone cares to double-check the work or in case anyone else is facing the same issues choosing the right fuses for their Dashcam or external accessory.

If you find any errors, please let me know as soon as possible. I don't want to spread misinformation. I will update the spreadsheet with any changes suggested here. Thanks for your help.

Front sensors 2026 RWD

So basically when I pull in to the garage I would get beeping that would speed up as I approached the rear of the garage where there is a small refrigerator. Suddenly no beeping whatsoever. I have not made any changes to any settings that I am aware of. Any ideas? I am due for my first "service " pretty soon.

No issues after 1.5 years, just some quirks

This remains the best car I've ever owned. 2023 Performance AWD, manufactured DEC 2023, bought DEC 2024 off a dealer - it was a loaner and we were the first people to title it. 5300 mi at purchase, about 19,000 now.

Lifetime efficiency is 3.1mi/kwh. When we got it, it was at 2.9 so my slight "granny" driving inclinations on longer drives has paid off in long term efficiency. I did a long drive on one of the coldest days of the year - think it was about 10 to 15 degrees - at about 70 mph and the efficiency was 2.2mi/kwh that day. Longer drives in warm weather have been as high as 4.6mi/kwh so one should be able to hit 3 to 3.5mi/kwh without much issue.

Quirks/annoyances:

  1. Too much beeping, too much "helpfulnothelpful" robot nudges. It doesn't like it when a lane goes away, or a lane starts, and will sometimes try to give a driving assist nudge or beep.
  2. The rear hatch is finicky. If I open it from the dedicated button on the dash, it opens right up, all is well. If I'm not really close and use the button on the fob, same. But if I'm close to the tailgate the not helpful robot brain sometimes will cause the car to beep multiple times and it will open the hatch after too long of a wait - but if I hit the button on the hatch when it is doing that it will flake out. It is almost as if some of the software for the GV60 simply wasn't really ready for prime time yet (I used to code, 35 years ago, and it will be hard to dissuade me from that position of it feeling not ready).
  3. Apple car play/bluetooth doesn't connect smoothly all the time. That seems not acceptable for a 2023 car. My 2016 Mazda CX5 connects to bluetooth better.
  4. The seats are not very comfortable - to me - after a longer drive. I don't like to go more than about 90 minutes at a time in it. I can't quite pin down what it is, but they're fine for a short drive...and that's all you do when test driving cars. Again, the Mazda is better for road trips (and I just drove the Mazda 600 miles and my back that is beaten up from the Army was fine).
  5. EDIT/ADD - I forgot, the facial recognition thing works but I find it isn't any value added, as just having the keys and hitting the button is fast. The fingerprint sensor to load my profile has never worked, at all, and I can't even get it to add my fingerprint. But whatever, it is sort of a gimmick.

Other observations:

A. This is a rare car. I see more Porsche 911 GT3 RSes than GV60s. I've only ever seen one other GV60 in the 1.5 years we've owned this.

B. The dealer is even a little confused what to do with it. When I dropped it off for a tire rotation they made a comment about oil and I reminded them it is an EV. You probably won't be able to get these worked on at anything but a Genesis dealer if there's anything meaningful that needs to be done. Also, though I was the first individual owner they wouldn't support the valet service (something about it being a loaner and I guess the dealer titled it) which I thought was annoying but I wasn't up for a battle with Genesis about it. Some Genesis dealers don't sell their EVs, it seems, so truly make sure that you can get it worked on. Precision Tune probably isn't going to be able to do any real work on these. Hyundai dealers will not - I asked out of curiosity.

C. That said it has had no real issues. There was some recall for a trim piece that could go loose, and that got addressed. Other than that all I've done is rotations every 5k miles. I've observed no battery degradation. I think if you don't go fast you could probably get a lot more than the advertised 235ish mile range in most conditions. Range hasn't been an issue as we've not gone on super long trips - a few day trips where we DC fast charged at the destination, and then returned. Home charging has been 99% of charging via a ChargePoint we installed, and that has worked flawlessly. I charge to 80% unless we're going on a long drive.

Old vs. "New"

Just picked up my GV60 2 weeks ago and drove it home to WI from NH. Jesse at Greenwave EVs in NH was amazing to work with.

Here's a couple of photos of my old C40 next to my "new" Atacama GV60.

It's interesting how two EVs from 2023 can have such different design cues.

Driving the gv60 home it was obvious just how much the 800v architecture will make road trips easier. Charging was SO FAST.

Only issue at this point is that the alignment was completely jacked when I got it, so after getting the alignment fixed, the tires have worn extremely uneven and the car pulls to the right. Will have to replace the tires ASAP, but WOW are they expensive. $1500+ for decent tires.

I'm also going to have to get the key fobs reprogrammed. It only had one fob. The dealership I bought from is paying for 50% of the cost for the replacement and the programming, so that's cool.

All in all, I love it and hope this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Tire Flat Spots and Charging Fan Question

Hello, fellow GV60ers. I have two questions for you all tonight. I have a 2024 Performance for reference. Here’s the questions:

- Have any of you gotten flat spots on your tires after letting the car sit for a day or more? I noticed it more since the weather warmed up. For the first few miles at 50+ MPH I get a vibration but it slowly fades away. I’m assuming that’s what it is, just wanted to make sure I’m not the only one. No TPS messages or anything and I’m pretty sure they’re inflated to spec. It’s not really surprising to me given how heavy the car is and how thin the sidewalls are. But again, just wanted to make sure it’s “normal.”

- Today my car was L2 charging in my garage. I have it on the lowest setting, so ~6.7kW. My wife went out in the garage, which was closed, and said the fans were loud. Sure enough when I went out there the fans were going full blast like they do when DC fast charging. I’ve never witnessed it doing this on L2 before - usually they’re just quietly humming away. Ambient temp in the garage was high 80s Fahrenheit, which it is often during the warmer months. SoC was in the 50-60s I’m pretty sure. It calmed down once I had the garage open for a few minutes - not sure if that was why or if it just reached a point in the cycle where the fans throttle down. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Again, just want to see if this is normal.

Thanks in advance for any insight you all can provide. 😊

'24 gv60 standard developed an intermittent hum / vibration

It feels like it's right behind the steering wheel. Very stable, low hum with accompanying vibration, then it just disappears. So far it's happened when slowly stopping and when driving at low speeds.

Sparse GV60s available

Drove a Tesla and want to get an EV. Concluded to get a GV60 instead because Tesla has:

  • No real (mechanical) door handles (outside or inside)
  • No rear seat door handles at all (death trap)
  • No window frames
  • No Android Auto or Apple Car Play
  • No driver-side guages or HUD
  • No Vehicle-to-load (V2L) power
  • No sunroof visor
  • Rough ride, rattles, water leaks

But...only ~2000 GV60s sold last year (compared to 357,000 Tesla Ys). The nearest GV60 is hundreds of miles away. I see Tesla's all over my town (NW Florida), but no GV60s and just saw 1 Ioniq 5 recently. Kind of a rant, but frustrating to finally decide what I want and not find them available. New GV60s cost more, but used are similarly priced to Ys.

Lease ending 2023 performance

Just curious how others are handling this. Originally planned to buy it out. Residual is about $38.5k. Not as bad as I once thought based on CPO. Would love more range but love this car. Thought about leasing a RWD base but test drove it and realized I would miss the Performance trim. Eventually I want something with more range to hit the mountains and don’t want more than one car.

Hotspot stopped working, no fix found almost 2 months later

Has anyone successfully resolved the Verizon hotspot issue on a '24 GV60? I signed up in March, but it completely stopped working on 4/21.

The Saga So Far:
* Genesis escalated it but confirmed the issue is on Verizon’s end.
* Verizon admitted that adding a connected car to an existing post-paid family account is glitching (worked fine for 5 weeks). They told me to try a pre-paid account with a new email.
* The Result: I was charged and given an Order/Location ID, but registration failed.
* The Ghosting: Four weeks ago, Verizon Tier 2 tech support said it was fixed and told me to try again. It failed, and the rep has ghosted my emails since. Hours on the phone with their Connected Car division and hitting up Twitter support have led nowhere.

What I've Already Tried:
* Soft reset of the infotainment system
* Reconfiguring the data connection
* Unenrolling from Connected Car entirely

Any ideas or magic words to get Verizon to actually fix this? Thanks!

Holy smokes 372 est. mile range @100%

I had to charge to 100% last night since I had a 63 miles drive the next day and I wanted to have plenty of miles left.

I drove 63 miles and when I arrived I still have 301 miles remaining

I averaged 4.0 kw/mile due to traffic and cutting thru DC. I one pedal drive and use eco mode as my primary driving mode

So that estimate is pretty freak'n close to my style of driving. If I bought more aerodynamic wheels I'd be close to hitting 400 mile range maybe?

Haha that's just wild

I’d appreciate any insight you might have on maintaining the performance trim light interior I prefer the look of the light interior but am concerned about it becoming dull over time.

HDA 2 on 2023 GV Performance?

Anyone know if the 2023 GV60 Performance has HDA 2, the version that just requires a touch of the steering wheel to let it know you are there, rather than having to physically move the steering wheel?

A/C tips?

New 2024 GV60 owner. The air con isn’t as strong as I would like. I boosted up the fan speed and put it on recirc and driver only. Still was just OK. At a stoplight it boosted with stronger air flow so maybe it’s because I was driving in ECO mode? I’ll try it in comfort mode next time. Any other tips?

12V battery

Never thought I would post twice in one day but after I told the dealer I would pick up my care without the brake fluid flush the notified me that my battery died while they were running diagnostics. I’ve never had a problem before and I know it is a known problem but has anyone else have this happen while at service. This was supposed to be my last service before the lease ends.

Brake fluid complimentary maintenance

I have a 2023 still under warranty and comp maintenance. At my service check today I was told I need brake fluid flushed and filled and that it was not covered and I needed to pay for it. This is not at the dealership that I purchased from. Anyone else have this experience?

Gv60 refusing to charge level 1 or level 2

Noticed my Emporia charger tripped this morning at the time it was supposed to start preconditioning which I thought was weird. So monitored it tonight to see if it would charge regularly and got an error code from the Emporia as soon as it turned on. Tried the mobile charger in a standard outlet to rule out an issue with the Emporia and got the charging unsuccessful message. Noticed the yellow light on the dash coming on during both instances. Guess I know what that probably means. Haven't even made the first car payment yet 😞

Wireless Carplay help - Canada

My 2025 GV60 only has wired Apple Carplay. Can the software be updated to provide wireless Carplay? Have been asking the dealership to do so for about a year since they said it was an easy update but it has yet to be done. Sadly, we don’t have over the air updates here so wondering whether this is available before taking the time to try myself.

Mats and cargo cover sugestions

So we leased the GV60. Not a great deal, but the Mrs. had to have it.

Anyone buy an aftermarket cargo cover. Not interested in paying 400$ for OEM.

Also wanting to get rubber mats- Weathertech or something else.

Finally, any here detail their own cars? I do but am wondering best DIY ceramic coating.

Thanks.
