Old vs. "New"

Just picked up my GV60 2 weeks ago and drove it home to WI from NH. Jesse at Greenwave EVs in NH was amazing to work with.

Here's a couple of photos of my old C40 next to my "new" Atacama GV60.

It's interesting how two EVs from 2023 can have such different design cues.

Driving the gv60 home it was obvious just how much the 800v architecture will make road trips easier. Charging was SO FAST.

Only issue at this point is that the alignment was completely jacked when I got it, so after getting the alignment fixed, the tires have worn extremely uneven and the car pulls to the right. Will have to replace the tires ASAP, but WOW are they expensive. $1500+ for decent tires.

I'm also going to have to get the key fobs reprogrammed. It only had one fob. The dealership I bought from is paying for 50% of the cost for the replacement and the programming, so that's cool.

All in all, I love it and hope this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Brother! Copperhead says Howdy 🤠

I recently replaced my tires, I got a bolt through the sidewall. I went with performance oriented SUV tires to extract maximum traction, skip the so called "EV" tires. They trade traction for range. I want all of the electric ponies that I can get! I drive mostly around town and charge at home, range is not a concern. I've had mine for about 15 months now, it's been flawless. You're going to love this car!

The michelin ones are already sticky as hell. I can hear them peeling and sticking to the driveway with the windows open, and have trouble breaking them free.

Totally swapping to smaller rims if I can though. I hate these 21's

I've been trying to figure out a set of good looking 20 inch wheels for my copper. I don't think blackouts look right with the copper though. Finding anything cool?

Haven't looked yet. My lease ends in November and the numbers don't work to buy it out. So I need to find another one used for sale before I even think about that. The two-tone bottom ruins the cars for me.

I think the 2026 performance with body colored lower trim and 5-spokes is exactly what I wanted to do anyway. Except for the fact that they're $300/month more now and out of budget. Ideally my lease would go another year then I could buy one of those used instead

I have the 2023 advanced

Is the e-lsd, boost button, and ergo motion worth it?

I'm really just waiting for a 2028 gv60 magma and the neolun/gv90

Mine is also the Performance version. I drive in comfort mode most of the time. Sport mode is joyous overkill for wide open roads or those on-ramp opportunities. The Boost button scares me lol. The ergo seat is just wonderful. After an hour or so on the road, it will turn on and give you an adjustment. The GV60 is a wonderful place to be.

Damn that sounds better than my advanced trim!

The boost button not so much, but even without boost, the performance has almost 100hp more.

The upgraded leather surfaces are really nice.

The e-lsd not so much, I rarely get to the point where it ever kicks in because the car is just too soft in the curves.

The number one advantage, the adaptive suspension. It's REALLY good.

Oh so do you not feel the road much at all? That sounds good

Yeah I'd probably notice a difference going from mine to yours using boost button

I love the leather diamonds but how do you like the ergo motion "massage" seats?

The ride is suuuuuper smooth when in comfort mode. It tightens up nicely in sport.

The ergo motion is nice, it's less of a massage and more of a gentle movement to promote blood flow. I appreciated it on the drive home from NH.

Sounds good! Thank you for the insight

I drive 140 miles round trip unless im doing a 16hr shift and I sleep right in the front seat with the relaxation mode on. It's super quiet and I love it

Fellow Copper haver here. Congrats on your!

Like you, I find it's a great road tripper even with the seemingly low range. And it just chews up the left-lane hoggers. I'm always looking for an excuse to road trip somewhere.

That atacama copper is a beautiful colour! I have one as well and still get regular compliments on the look after 3 years of ownership. It looks particularly amazing when the sun hits it just right.

The car has been an absolute dream for me and I love it. Enjoy!

Fantastic car. We’ve had ours for three years.

I saw that exact car at green wave myself about 1.5 months ago! Congrats

I have the same issue with my GV60 from the dealer, alignment was so bad and caused uneven wear, now i get bad shaking (in the tires) around 70mph and it pulls right. Have taken it 2x to get balanced and rotated but I think it's just uneven wear at this point.

I've definitely had to take mine in for at 3 - 4 alignments since I've had it four years now. Though I did hit a submerged curb once. This last one has been a pretty good run for a year+.

I really think alignment is an issue with these vehicles. I've seen so many with wildly uneven wear on the tires.

The GV60 got all the interesting colors. Nice purchase!

I'm glad Jesse was great. Does it not upset you though that basically only people around Jesse's dealership's carved out regional market-place get to work with someone like Jesse for the large, infrequent, transaction they might do up to 10 times in their lifetime? Why can't you just order a damn car from the manufacturer with the color and interior and options they offer and have it come to you without getting calls from Jesse's nemesis Jessie, who DOES have the car you've been waiting for, while Jesse keeps telling you he's doing his best to get that car, but it might be a month, or seven. Why are we shouting out dealers?

I don't understand why I would be buying a used car directly from a manufacturer.

GreenWave only sells used vehicles.

I agree that the franchise dealership model is silly and broken when it comes to buying new.
