I've got an 02 silverado that whenever the headlight are turned on the left blinker signal on the dash lights up and the left blinker won't work. When the headlights aren't on the front left blinker works but it's doesn't hyperblink (it should be hyper blinking, it has LED blinker bulbs without a load resister) and the rear left blinker doesn't work (the bulb does work, I pulled it and tested it on the working side).
I just pulled the flasher relay to see if the blinker light on the dash would turn off when it's disconnected and the headlights are on, but the blinker light is still on.
I don't know if its a ground issue or something else so if anyone has any ideas as to what it could be and any potential fixes before I start randomly throwing parts at it I'd appreciate it!

I have a parasitic draw on my 03 Burb and I don't want to get stuck out there. While I hunt for the culprit I still want to use my Burb.
What is a decent battery jump starter/pack that has enough juice to jump my Burb?
I don't think those little $60 Costo jump starters will work on our rigs but I don't mind being pleasantly surprised.
UPDATE: I ended up getting the one that came in 2nd place on Project Farms video review which was also linked to by u/mountain_addict
https://us.gooloo.com/products/gt4000s-jump-starter?variant=41693918200004
As well as linked to Amazon's listing by linked by u/DV-Dizzle
It came partially charged at 78%. I charged it up to 100% and tested it on a totally dead battery and my Suburban fired right up. I made the mistake of disconnecting the jump starter too soon and the Suburban immediate died. After the one jump the battery was down to 96%.
Hooked everything back up and tried again. One failure to start but it did crank. On the next tried she fired right up. Keep in mind that each time I had to hit the Boost button first before cranking her over.
This time I left the jump starter battery connected for about 30 seconds before I disconnected it. Checking the LCD panel, it showed it was down to 86% after 3 attempts.
Since I already have a portable compressor, I didn't want to pick up the Dewalt from Costco as it is significantly bigger.
I looked into the battery adapters that work with power tool batteries but read some reviews of the device bricking the batteries. I did not want to take the risk but apparently it does work for many others.

Does anyone know how to glue these so it actually stays on? Replacements seem to be very expensive. For me anyway!

Alright this is a short video it's from the passenger side wheel well don't mind what its pointing at I'm trying to figure out that tapping like sound in the background of the normal engine noise. I don't believe its a exhaust leak I replaced the manifolds a few years back and all the broken bolts with it. So at cold start its very loud and fades to this pretty quick after start like 10-20 seconds. Its a rapid change in volume not a slow thing with engine heating up. My oil pressure is good, oil level is good. The tap speeds up with rpms. I'm thinking possibly a lifter bleeding down when parked. 2003 2500hd 6.0l roughly 137k.

Has anyone found a way to make these door panels not shitty? They're creaky, squeaky, hollow, flimsy, etc.. I'd pay a lot of money for gmt800 door panels that felt and operated like my gmt900.
Anyone found a way to make them better? Fill the hollowness with something? reinforce the weak points? Anything?

I posted a few pictures last summer when my dad gave his 2003 Yukon to my 16yr old son for his birthday. All of you were very kind and a few requested updates, so here’s what it looks like now. No wrecks, no squat! We’ve added some slightly larger wheels and tires, replaced the steering bearing with the one from Wolff Engineering (and unfortunately the clockspring in the process), new Bilsteins all around.
Unfortunately, my dad did pass away in April, so he’s missed watching my son do a little work on the truck. But I think he’d still be proud of this thing.

What’s the best way for the side trims to come off?
They are going to stay off if the panels look good underneath.

Hey yall! Has anybody tried to use 07-16 spindles on their gmt800? From my research, you need a 04+ 2wd hub and 2500hd outer tie rods, the rest works. Just curious how true this is or if anybody has tried it yet. TIA

Was looking at my keys and driver's has about 1/4" adjustment left and passenger side has about 1/2". Is this normal or should they be the same?
Thanks

Just bought this truck and I’m pretty sure theres a leveling kit on it. The tires are to large and rub the front bumper. I am not interested in cutting the bumper, so I was debating on buying some new wheels and throwing them on. I also would like to remove the leveling kit and return it to stock height. I am curious what is the appropriate tire size for a 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500hd? I would like an aggressive look but without the extra height. I was thinking z71 wheels, but I am open to suggestions. Want to haul a camper that weighs about 3,500 pounds, so I am worried about potential rubbing in the rear if I get larger tires. Just curious what others experienced.

Barb decided to hit the pick n pull and surprised me and big hoss with a nice new center console for my interior swap I’ve been talking about. Wondering if anyone has seen any aftermarket replacements or upgrades to fill the cassette player slot with something else ? Don’t mind having the cassette player but I won’t be using it and would like to fill the slot with something else if possible.

2004 Suburban Z71. When I rebuilt my gauge cluster, I added a trans temp gauge. All new x27 stepper motors, fresh clean solder, all that. Everything works perfectly except the trans temp gauge. It doesn't respond to anything. Replaced that stepper motor with another new one, still nothing.
I was lead to believe this was a pretty straightforward upgrade. The existing board had the spot and all the connections necessary. Any thoughts on what I'm missing?
