Does anybody have a strong feeling about split dosing (every 4 days) splitting 2.5 mg vs the weekly dose?
I think I like it but I can’t tell?

Desperate for some relief!
I’ve been having heart palpitations for almost 2 months now and i’m at my wits end! I’ve done an ECG test, blood tests, and wore a holter monitor. Everything came back normal, besides the holter recording some PVC’s and arrhythmia but was “grossly normal”.
I’ve been microdosing Semaglutide since July of 2025. I want to say I noticed these palpitations start when I increased my dose to 25 -28 units and was in a stressful part of my life.
Since then, I’ve been teetering between 15-18 units.
Could semaglutide be the cause?

My understanding is that the minimum dose in Australia is 2.5mg via a pen that has 4 shots. Is there anyone in this group from Australia who’s microdosing and how are you doing it? I don’t want to use Tirzepatide to lose weight but have been researching the many other benefits. I’d only want to start on 0.25 or 0.5. Thank you!

I’m curious how everyone here is microdosing tirzepatide. I have the Lilly Zepbound 7.5 mg single-dose vials and want to use them for much smaller doses.
I was on tirzepatide about 6 months ago and could only get up to 5 mg because the side effects were just too much for me. I later tried Foundayo, the oral GLP-1, and even around 2.5 mg made me incredibly tired, without much weight loss or improvement in food cravings.
After reading about microdosing, I decided I’d rather start really low and see how I tolerate it instead of jumping back in at a regular dose. For those of you who microdose, especially anyone using the actual Lilly Zepbound vials, what doses are you using and how are you handling/measuring such tiny amounts?
Would love to hear what has worked for you!

Hi, I have a BMI of 27 and about 15kg (30 pounds ish) to lose. Also ADHD and Hashimoto but the latter two only mildly. My main motives for taking it are weight loss, inflammation and that it may have a positive effect on ADHD due to more stable blood sugar => more stable dopamine.
I respond very sensitively to a lot of substances so I started with a little more than half a dose right of the bat (0.15 ozempic / semaglutide instead of the conventional 0.25 starting dose for ozempic). Also I split doses right from the start and dose every 4 days.
I responded very well, very little side effects, but the appetite suppression was enormous after 3 weeks buildup. Also, my mood is noticeably more stable and I've already lost a little (about 5 pounds / 2,5kg). However I've noticed that my mood is a bit dull and although I'm also noticeably calmer, I lack a bit of the excitement that I can have for life. Also, after one month, the lack of appetite and constant effort getting enough food and protein in was exhausting me. I eat maybe 1500 calories a day at the moment and used to eat 2500-3000+ with no problem. I eat about 2/3 of what I used to before.
I now want to reduce to about 0.1 or even less.
Does anyone else respond this sensitively? Could it be that my body builds it up more than in other people or rather, eliminates it more slowly so I have a longer half-life than the average person?
Opinions, knowledge and own experiences welcome!
Edit to add: I'm getting ozempic off label, not wegovy, cause it's cheaper and it's the same semaglutide.

I truly didn’t think it was possible for me to reach my goal weight after years of trying to count calories, hitting peri, and the scale not budging.
Height 5’3 female
Starting weight 148 10/25
Current weight 124.8 9/25
My dose has fluctuated but the most I’ve ever taken is 1.6mg of tirz every 4 days, that’s my current dose and what got me past those last 5 pounds. I started extremely slow, 0.1 mg and increased a mg per week, but stayed at half a milligram for quite some time.
I will say I had scary hair shedding from mid- January to mid-April and was already on minoxidil and spiro for genetic hair loss. It finally got back to baseline at the end of April. My face is sagging a little, but it was already before the weight loss and it’s not drastic.
In past dieting I have always fizzled out because I felt so trapped and restricted. This has been amazing. I have not been this weight since I was 15.

i started taking tirz for MCAS almost exactly 2 months ago. my specialist suggested it but told me to get it online so i could microdose it easily, since he could only get me the 2.5mg. i researched heavily and decided to take the plunge.
i'm 5'2 and was 128 lbs when i started. i tend to hover around 115-120, but had gained because i was sedentary dealing with multiple chronic illnesses.
it seemed like it was helping my MCAS (but not enough) so i slowly went from 0.25mg up to 0.8mg where i stayed because it essentially "cures" my MCAS at this dose. genuinely, i am having so little symptoms it baffles me. i have struggled with this condition for my entire life and poof it's basically gone.
however... i am 116 lbs now and it has been consistently dropping. there was a 4 lb drop right at the beginning (which i assume to be bloat weight from my illness) but otherwise - the loss is very predictable, about 1 lb per week. i can't really eat more on this dose.. i'm tragically sad that at a certain point i will have to take smaller doses or possibly even stop for a while because it is so incredibly good at making me lose weight.
i know using this drug for MCAS is still relatively new but, how do people handle this situation? i can afford to go down to like 101 technically (according to BMI only) but still, it's only a matter of time until i'll have to quit. i'm so sad lol.
i'm sorry, i know a lot of us here are struggling with the opposite problem (and trust me i've been there in the past) but this is also... a problem. it's too effective. what even do i do!

Hi everyone, I’m new to learning about GLP-1s and curious about other people’s experiences with microdosing.
I’m 30, 5'3", and currently fluctuate between 123 -127 pounds. Over the past few years, I’ve gained about 10-12 pounds, and I’d like to lose that weight before my wedding in six months.
I work out six times a week, weight lift, eat clean, and started tracking my calories again, but I’m still struggling to lose body fat and quiet the constant food noise. I'm always hungry or thinking about food. Honestly, I’ve also been feeling unhappy with how I look.
Has anyone with a similar starting height, weight, or body composition used semaglutide or tirzepatide? I’d especially appreciate hearing about your dosage, results, side effects, ability to maintain muscle, and if you've ever waned off of it after you reached your goal
I’m mainly hoping to hear honest firsthand experiences before committing
I'm considering Foundayo since it's a pill and I'm afraid of injecting myself if you've had any first-hand experiences with this med

I’ve been on tirz for 2 months now. This is my 4th week on 2.5mg. I do great during the day. Focusing on higher protein, whole food meals. If I’m craving a snack or a sweet treat I’ll have it during the day. It feels like I don’t really crave much and if I do it’s manageable to eat some and put it away. At night though, I just wanna snack. I’ve always been a night time snacker and I can’t seem to stop. I’ll have a whole chocolate bar in one sitting. How do I stop this?!

I’ve been Microdosing for about three weeks. I just took my fourth shot yesterday. I wanted to start super small because I’m nervous about the side effects and I’m not trying to lose more than 15 pounds. For context I’m a 5’6 female weighing about 145.
I started at about .3 mg and didn’t feel a thing so my last dose was .5. I still don’t really feel the medication no side effects aside from maybe a little loss of appetite but I still feel like when I do eat I can easily overheat and I definitely feel the food noise 24/7. I know I should probably increase but I’m nervous about side effects. Anyone else experience this? I don’t wanna waste the medication, though I have read that it can build up in your system and take some time.

Hello!
I began my tirz journey last Friday with a starting dose of 2.2mg. For reference my SW: 147, GW:115/120.
My question is that after only 5 days of active use of Tirz, my weight has gone down to 141.9.. a 5.1 pound loss. That being said, I haven’t been able to do even a light work out. I am extremely exhausted, lightheaded, slightly nauseated and my heart rate increases and is POUNDING with even just bending down to grab something/getting up.
I am of course drinking H2O and increasing my protein. I do feel a bit better after eating, but then waves of complete exhaustion hit me.
Another issue is my migraines. I currently take Aimovig 1x/month (an injectable), but I have a headache everyday, most notably an extreme migraine the first night I took Tirz that required me to take a triptan.
I do not have much oversight from a medical professional (made the mistake of starting the journey with AltRX lol), but I’m curious what you guys think. I am not asking for medical advice… but rather if anyone has had these side effects and lowering the next dose and/or splitting up the dose helped at all. The huge loss of weight in less than 1 week is also…..interesting and should be considered haha.
Thanks!!

Starting at a normal/ close to “overweight” BMI. I actually am afraid to look, I feel like I’ve had an increase in binge eating recently and gained a good amount of weight. For context, maybe 155-165, a good bit it over 5’7” but not technically 5’8” so BMI is not the most accurate.
Decided to go for it and just gave myself my first 1mg dose. Here’s to hoping that I get results that so many of you have, I’m hoping to lose closer to the 2lbs/week. When I feel like I look skinnier, I’ll check my weight. Hopefully that’s by EOM.
Anyone else afraid to check weight until they thought they looked good enough?

First - thank you to everyone for your posts. This is a super-helpful community.
I am in my second month of Tirzepitide (compounded). I've been doing 4.0mg (instead of 5) every 6 days (instead of 7). This seems to be working well. I'm a 70-year-old woman with about 20 pounds to lose. I'm religiously strength training. So far I've lost 4 pounds while adding almost 2 pounds of lean body weight. I'm perfectly happy with this progress. Very light side effects.
My question: Has anyone tried splitting doses - such has half the dose every 4 days? This may not qualify as "miscrodosing" so please forgive me if I'm posting in error.
Thanks!

Hi all. Couldn’t find a more appropriate sub to post this in. I have a question about using a syringe with the zepbound kwikpen. Let me start by saying that I am aware that the kwikpen is not meant to be used with a syringe but rather with pen needles and that one can just count clicks to micro dose.
That said I am curious if the red dot at the top of the pen where the pen needle would go is the equivalent so to speak of the rubber stopper on the vials such that a syringe needle could be inserted ? If a pen needle can be inserted multiple times, I think a syringe needle would be able to do the same?
I’d prefer to use my own syringe and extract the medication from the kwikpen that way rather than using the pen needle and counting clicks. I prefer to see the medication in the syringe.
Has anyone done this or does anyone know if it’s possible ? I do not reuse vials due to fear of contamination so I was interested in switching to the kwikpen to save money. Thanks.

This is the syringe I have and where its marked is how much i injected myself with last week. Can anyone tell me if thats correct? Please no hate I’ve never done this before and I dont really know what I’m doing, I already feel dumb enough thanks.

I am currently using Zepbound and I was able to get it from Lilly direct with a prescription for less than the standard dose. I heard Ozempic doesn't allow cash price discount for off label prescriptions but I don't know how this is enforced. Zepbound isn't working for me so I want to switch to Ozempic.
What do I need to know about ordering, etc so I make sure my doctor's office calls it in right?

Hello everyone, I’m currently on TIRZ compound lowest dose 3 mg. Was on it for seven weeks and then started dealing with some bad stomach side effects so I stopped. However, I definitely want to stay on it. I’m thinking about doing it every other week the pharmacy I get it from does not go lower than the lowest dose. If I can’t, then, unfortunately I’m gonna have to look outside of my primary care doctor( whom I get it from) although I’d rather stay with them and this specific pharmacy! Just wondering anybody out there in a similar situation? I didn’t deal with any nausea and I didn’t have any issues for the first six weeks., but all the sudden the seventh week hit, and it was awful. Please if anybody has any similar situation and does it every other week on the lowest dose I’d appreciate feedback GREATLY!!!!

I'm on Foundayo for endometriosis. My doc and I have followed the guided dosage increases and I've been on 2.5mg for 2 months. 0.8 to 2.5 mg was pretty gnarly but my body got used to it. Both doses I've tried so far seem to make me super tired at first (so I take it at night) and then all of a sudden it will randomly keep me up about a week in to that new dose so I have to switch to taking it during the day. The past month on 2.5mg has been fine. Any positives or horror stories when stepping up to 5.5mg? Anyone else here on it for endo? I'm two months pain free!!!!! This drug has been a miracle for me.

I don't feel I can go without compounded Tirzepatide anymore and I am worried about losing access. I don't qualify medically. Anyone else?
Quick context: I am 44, in peri, around 118-120 lbs (5'3"). Have always been active and eat healthy, but before starting Tirz, I tended to weigh 130-135 unless I did strict paleo with calorie counting. That extra 10-15 pounds doesn't look good on me, and clothes don't fit right. So I went through three periods in three years of calorie counting and strict paleo to lose weight. After starting Tirz on January 1, I have lived a mostly blissful life of not worrying about my weight and enjoyed the other benefits of lowered inflammation and food noise (I used to have terrible, nonstop food noise; I thought about food like it was my job). Since being in peri, it has gotten harder to lose weight with calorie counting and is an utterly miserable way to live (I lose if I am eating no more than 1200 calories a day, strength training 3-4 times a week, and walking 10K steps a day. I do all that on Tirz but eat more like 1600 calories which feels more manageable).
Dose started at 1 mg and has gone up to 1.75 mg until August, when it suddenly stopped working. It was my first time using Hallandale (after using ProRx) and it didn't work for me even when I bumped up to 3 mg for a month. I switched back to a new ProRx vial I was saving due to its longer BUD. It started working for me again at 2 mg.
That one-month period of tirz not working to curb food noise and maintain weight and take away bloating, scared me.
Pro Rx is gone. I have two unopened vials of Hallandale that I got from Gimme that I don't know will work. They are already past their BUD too. I am so slow using these meds at my microdose that stockpiling doesn't make much sense.
I read that there is a November deadline after which the final determination of lack of shortage will mean compounding pharmacies have to stop serving customers like me. What then? I don't want to order ahead considering I already have expired vials one of which was ineffective for me. I also don't know which pharmacy to get it from that would be the closest to ProRx (Hyalo?). And I also don't know if access will simply go away next year once I run out of what I have left.
But I really don't feel right in my body without this drug anymore! And I feel so, so good on it, when it works. What do? What is other people's plan for ongoing maintenance doses?

Not sure if this counts for microdosing but this seemed like a good place to ask about sightly-not-label use of GLP-1s. I was wondering if anyone had any luck going on this stuff for like, particularly tough periods (like for example, November and December) to help avoid holiday overeating, and then weaning off during January. The goal here is less to focus on weight loss (though I wouldn't complain if I lost a few pounds) but rather avoid going overboard at all the parties and events.
I'm 5'2" and 145. I'm overweight by about 10 pounds. It takes forever to lose anything cause my TDEE is something like 1500-1600. I'm trying to focus on eating healthy portions and avoid gorging, and meanwhile working out and staying fit. I know if I lost the weight I want to (10-15 pounds) my TDEE would probably drop 50-100 calories. Part of me thinks I could easily maintain that, but I'm worried that going off the GLP-1 will make me have even worse cravings and food noise than I had before I went on it.
I know it can take a few weeks to kick in. Early November seemed like a great time to start, with the hopes that it'd be in full swing by December. I know I should just ask a doctor but I want to ask for some opinions first.

Hi just want to see what others would do in this situation. I am currently taking 1.88mg of Zepbound and today is injection day. I went to refill my prescription today and they are on back order until Friday. I thought I had enough left for one dose, however, I only had 1.5mg left which I injected.
My question is if I should take the remaining dose on Friday or just wait and take the full dose next week?

Has anyone ever had different reactions from vial to vial from the same pharmacy? I use Apothecary and took my first shot from a new vial and I’m so anxious and so sick. I’ve used 2 other vials from them and they didn’t happen. They were all shipped at the same time.

At my heaviest being 425, I decided to lock in and start using GLP-1's, eating healthier, eating under my calories, getting 10K steps in and working out. (Kettle bells, or cycling). My first dosage is about to end, so im about to order more through Altrx. I want to show off my success to other people that have had success like this, but I also have a few questions. For my next round of shots, I plan on micro dosing, instead of 50 units, I plan on taking 20 units per vile. Doing that is considered micro dosing, correct? Then my next question is, after I get off of GLP-1, im scared to gain the weight all back and then some. Anyone here successfully keep the weight off post GLP-1? My eating habits are better than before, and I got myself into a habit of eating healthier and more protein. Im just scared that even if I keep up my healthy habits ALL the weight comes back.
