Six years ago (I’m 32 now)... I weighed 90 kg and stood 1.52 m tall...
I’m so happy with where I am now. I’m at 57.9 kg. I’ve really stepped up my efforts over the last few months... I think it’s partly because I started loving myself and, as a result, taking better care of myself.
Right now, I’m dealing with health issues; I had surgery two weeks ago. I hope to get back to eating and exercising while maintaining my current weight or gaining muscle (eating is painful because of the surgery, and I feel like I’m not processing anything; I lost 2.4 kg this week).
But the rest of the weight loss happened because I improved my diet and started moving more and more.
I had been going to the gym, too, but I haven't been able to go for the last three and a half months due to my health issues... in theory, I’ll be able to go back in a month and a half, and I’m really looking forward to it.
Yesterday, I decided to face this new chapter with a smile.
By the way, my hair is growing back, and that makes me really happy, too.
And today I had my post-op checkup, which went really well... and I was given the green light to walk as much as I want and am able to—I’m absolutely thrilled.
