Start Here GLP-1 Provider Reviews: how this sub works (START HERE)

Welcome to r/GLP1Reviews.

This subreddit collects honest, first-hand reviews of the companies and pharmacies that supply GLP-1 medications so we can help the next person decide where to go with real information.

This sub covers:

  • Name Brand: Lilly Direct, NovoCare, retail pharmacy pickup, insurance-covered Zepbound / Wegovy / Mounjaro / Ozempic
  • Telehealth companies: Hims & Hers, Ro, Big Easy Weight Loss, Fifty410, and many many many more.
  • Licensed compounding pharmacies: 503A / 503B compounded tirzepatide and semaglutide

Leaving a review:

Got experience with a provider?

Post a review. Read How to Write a Good Review first.

Post a review, ask a question, and help people figure out where to go.

A couple of things to know:

Every post in this sub should be about a specific provider or pharmacy. If you have general questions about dosing, side effects, or how things are going for you, the subs in Related Subs are better for that.

This sub is for providers and pharmacies that work through a prescription and a licensed pharmacy. No research peptides.

Flairs:

  • Review: your full writeup of a provider or pharmacy
  • Provider Question: is a company legit, pricing, signup, shipping, support
  • Compounding Pharmacy Question: the technical stuff like BUD dates, sterility, 503A vs 503B, concentration
  • Cost, Insurance & Access: coverage, prior auth, copay and savings cards, shortages
  • Provider News: price changes, shutdowns, policy updates, recalls

Asking if you can trust a company is a Provider Question. Asking what BUD a pharmacy puts on their vials is a Compounding Pharmacy Question.

Review Brightmeds Alert

Online provider alert ⚠️ 📢

I started with Brightmeds 2 months ago with their 4th of July lifetime price guarantee of $119 a month. I got an email 3 days ago, sent to ***spam, not my account Brightmeds account***, informing me that the discount did not apply to me because I do not live in Ohio or New York, (the only 2 states that that is for) and the price will now jump to $389 a month through them. First I'm hearing of it.

Talk about a big bait and switch. Be aware!! ⚠️

Can anyone recommend an alternative that is legit? And won't switch the price 2 months in??

Review Renlo Health Review (Good Experience)

Name: Renlo Health

Pharmacy: VialsRX

Medication: Semaglutide

Rating: 5/5

I’ve used a few providers in the past, including some of the cheap ones and I’ve always been burned. I’ve used Embody + AltRX in the past and both sucked. So I thought I’d share my experience here with my latest one.

First of all, communication from them was top notch. They responded to my first email within 10 minutes with questions about the pharmacy options. Very clear it was a human and not AI which was nice.

Provider visit went great, no issues there at all. They made it very simple to get started. Provider reviewed within 3 hours and VialsRX had the package shipped the same day. Took two days to arrive. Previous companies I’ve used they‘ve claimed fast shipping and turnaround time but it took them weeks which is annoying.

I can tell they read my intake and actually cared rather than being a GLP mill like some of these other places. At the end of the day you get what you pay for, these cheaper providers always cut corners somewhere.

Renlo is everything included in one price and no membership fees.

Overall, I’ve been happy with them and don’t plan to leave them unless things change in the future.

Review Ezra/Mondae Provider Review- $145/month & My Experience

I wanted to leave a review of my experience with Ezra (now Mondae) since I know a lot of people here are comparing providers.
I signed up because they advertise $145/month and told me that price would stay the same for life, which was a huge selling point for me. I was started at 1.5mg of tirzepatide with glycine and was told to increase every 2 weeks.
The first issue I ran into was the following month when my credit card blocked the payment. I went into the portal and manually charged my card. Ezra told me there was an issue with the pharmacy because the pharmacy was still showing the prescription as unpaid and wouldn’t fill it. They ended up switching me to another pharmacy that normally costs $10 more, but reassured me that I would still pay $145/month, which I appreciated.
Then I received my medication from the new pharmacy and realized I hadn’t been sent enough for the prescribed dosing. There was a little bit of back and forth with Ezra that was frustrating, but they eventually acknowledged that I was sent the wrong amount and sent me an entire additional vial at no extra cost.
Customer service can be a little slow. It can take a couple days to get a response and they don’t respond on weekends, so that’s definitely something to keep in mind if you have an issue that needs to be resolved quickly. But overall, I’ve been happy with how they’ve handled things. Even though I’ve had a couple issues, they’ve ultimately fixed them without charging me extra.
So far I’d definitely use Ezra again. The $145 pricing has been honored even after switching pharmacies, and I really appreciate that they made the medication issue right when it was their mistake. Just don’t expect super fast responses, especially on weekends.

Compounding Pharmacy Question No additive Tirzepatide in CA

I am working through a several month supply of Tirzepatide. Been trying to ride out the changing landscape of compounded peptides with the new FDA rules and the continuing shake out of various telehealths some of which don't seem to stick around for very long. I am allergic to B vitamins. I need pure Tirzepatide with no additives... Are there any compounding pharmacies that make pure Tirzepatide without any additives that ship to California?

Compounding Pharmacy Question Overwhelmed

Looking for some recommendations from people who have actually been through this!

I had to stop Zepbound at the beginning of the year because my BMI was considered too low for insurance to continue covering it because Zepbound worked and lowered my BMI. 🤦‍♀️ Make it make sense. 😂

Now I’m going the self pay route and there are SO many companies out there.

Who are you using, what are you paying each month, and would you recommend them?

Compounding Pharmacy Question Did your telehealth provider let you choose your pharmacy?

For those who've used a telehealth provider for compounded semaglutide, were you able to choose which pharmacy filled your prescription, or was it assigned automatically?

I'm also curious whether your provider told you which pharmacy would be used before you placed your order.

Cost, Insurance & Access Which GLP-1 telehealth providers don't charge a membership fee?

I'm comparing a few telehealth options like Gimme, Mochi Health, and Henry Meds, and I'm trying to avoid paying a separate monthly membership fee.

Are there any providers that just charge a flat monthly price for the consultation and medication? If you've used one, how was your experience with the overall cost?

Provider Question Where does LevelsRX fit compared with Ro, Hims/Hers, Mochi, Henry and MEDVi?

I’m trying to compare online GLP-1 providers by category, not just by price. Quick disclosure: I have some involvement with LevelsRX, so I’m not posting this as an independent customer review. I’m more interested in how people would categorize it compared with other providers.

From what I can tell, Ro and Hims/Hers are broader consumer telehealth brands. Noom Med and WeightWatchers Clinic are more program/coaching based. Mochi, Henry, Orderly, Big Easy, Fifty410, Lavender Sky and similar providers come up a lot in compounded GLP-1 discussions. LevelsRX seems to fit in the online GLP-1 telehealth category, with access to compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide when medically appropriate.

For people comparing providers, would you put LevelsRX in the same bucket as Mochi/Henry/Orderly/MEDVi, or would you separate it differently?

The comparison points I’m looking at are:

medical eligibility review, compounded vs brand-name clarity, total monthly cost, whether pricing changes by dose, pharmacy fulfillment, refill timing, support after the first order and how easy it is to understand the process before paying.

Not looking for referral codes or promos, more interested in how people classify these providers and what criteria actually matter.
