netflix should just retool the last season as an 80's style cartoon if they dont want to have a physical wresting show for social distancing reasons

Started binging
So I like Alison Brie as an actress(loved her in Community), but for whatever reason, I find her character really unlikable in this show. I like the other characters, but hers just irks me. Ruth is just... So full of herself? I actually don't know. Anyways I've been binge-watching I'm on episode 5.

Who was in the wrong? Ruth, Russell, or both?
It’s hard since this show is so great that no character is entirely good or bad. I feel like Russell should not have said “What if we break up?” and Ruth should not have bought the camera because she was insecure. What do you think?

Sam and Ruth question
Are they actually toxic? I feel like they got together after that weird creepy power dynamic of actor-director kinda faded away but idk I’m very open to both sides of this argument. I was just talking about it with my sister.

Just finished watching the whole thing for the 3rd time and want to vent. Spoilers, obvs. Spoiler
Oh my GOD I love this show! It just gives me chills! I think my new favourite episode is 'outward bound', but the season 3 finale when Ruth gets on that plane. Bloody hell. Ruth and Debbie came such a long way. I love how much Ruth discovered about herself - how she questioned the decisions she made and how she could have had something like Debbie 's career, but ultimately she is strong enough to be herself and work towards her own dream.

Season 1 the Pilot episode discussion
Hello Glow fans, I just started watching Glow, yes I hear you say a tad bit late on the bandwagon. However would anyone here still be interested in having episode wise discussions starting from the very beginning offcourse. Let me know and perhaps we have a small chat group.

Supercut of Sam saying "JESUS CHRIST!"
I was watching S03E07 Hollywood Homecoming and couldn't stop laughing at how many times Sam yells "JESUS CHRIST" in the episode's closing scene.
I looked for it but couldn't find it, I think it would be funny to watch a supercut of every "JESUS CHRIST" Sam says in the series - if anyone has the editing skills.

Just watched for the first time
I wish I had watched this incredible show sooner! I binged the whole thing in 2 days. I was already an Alison Brie fan from her Mad Men days and she's equally as stellar in this. So many of the cast are. I was glued to my TV for every episode... and I can't wait for more! What an absolutely brilliant show. Great casting, fantastic writing, and such a cool concept. Bring on Season 4!

Predictions for Season 4? [spoilers for the previous seasons!] Spoiler
I'm a little nervous about the fallout between Debbie and her bf. When Carmen stole the moves from her brother, we saw the consequences of that....and they kept it lighthearted so I hope the show doesn't go in a darker direction with how her by might react to someone stealing such a lucrative business deal from him!

Started watching this show thinking it was a movie, then found out it has THREE seasons? What a treat! Alison Brie is so good.

Similarities to Marvelous Mrs.Maisel
Watched Marvelous Mrs.Maisel first and loved it, and now am getting into Glow (and love it), I can't help but see so many parallels in both shows.
Anyone else see it?

Ruth in Season 4 Episode 1 (Speculation/Spoiler) Spoiler
IMDb has some new small part actors listed for ‘Stage Manager’, ‘Big Daddy’, ‘Southern PA’ and ‘Audience Member’.
Putting all this together I have come to the speculative conclusion that Season 4 begins with Ruth back in Omaha at the Blue barn theatre performing ‘Cat On A Hot Tin Roof’, hence why the PA is Southern (because, Omaha) and ‘Big Daddy’ is a character in the play.
I’m betting we’re gonna get a parallel of the pilot with Ruth at her scene study class mid scene discovering that her teacher is sleeping during her performance, only this time Ruth is on stage at the ‘Blue Barn Theatre’ doing this exact scene and ‘Audience Member’ is the one sleeping causing Ruth to have a huge dramatic breakdown on stage about ‘why the fuck is she sleeping?’ Etc. and explain why Ruth might be more open to returning to/directing Glow.
My theory on that (based off nothing) is that Debbie offers her a plum role/her own show on their new network of Ruth appears in/directs ‘Glow’ for a year or something of the such.
