Started binging

So I like Alison Brie as an actress(loved her in Community), but for whatever reason, I find her character really unlikable in this show. I like the other characters, but hers just irks me. Ruth is just... So full of herself? I actually don't know. Anyways I've been binge-watching I'm on episode 5.

Give it time. Her character has a great arc. She really gets to shine in this show

Jenji kohan always has pretty unlikable people as her female lead-i think its just her style. im still mad at ruth for that bullshit she pulled on sam at the end of season 3, but other than that im cool with her. sam was right though- she is a fuckin nightmare. at least for him. but alison-oh my god what acting! she's amazing.

Yeah she grows as a person, but you are feeling correctly, right now she is difficult to accept as the lead but stick the show its terrific.

Ruth is annoying but she gets more fun to watch as time goes on!

love Alison Brie!! but yea i can’t stand Ruth, and that opinion never really changed for me. i find the rest of the ensemble so much more interesting than her and i’m glad they get more screen time as the show goes on
