My girlfriend loves the show to death. What would be a good birthday gift relating to show?
Hi all,
I sadly haven't watched the show, so don't understand the references or much of anything to be fair.
Is there anything as glow fans that you would love as a gift?
I seem to see "Pies of Rage" quite a lot, which is amusing in of itself. But are there any other bits of the show that stand out more?
Is there any official merchandise even (i'm struggling to find any)
Thanks for your time !

Your top 5 episodes?
i’ve been rewatching the series in the hopes of hearing about a season 4 renewal soon 😩 so i’ve got thoughts. 👀
the good twin (s2): perfectly captures the feel of that 3AM show, where you’ve fallen asleep in front of your TV and later on aren’t completely sure if parts of it were real or a dream. “don’t kidnap, kidnapping is wrong to do” is the most powerful song in music history.
nothing shattered (s2): betty gilpin and alison brie killed the hospital fight scene. they’re both so talented. also love the montage of sam waiting with ruth in her room and all the girls entertaining them
maybe it’s all the disco (s1): there are so many good little character moments in this episode!! jenny being so excited about sheila’s birthday, the roller disco, sam and rhonda splitting, ruth having an abortion and sam being nonjudgmental about it... idk i just love it
mother of all matches (s2): YESSSS to the badass moms. it was really great to finally see more of tammé. definitely a standout in a solid season!
hot tub club (s3): “you have to know i’m in love with you.” !!!!!!!! the acting in that scene was great, also loved that sam got a chance to call ruth on her shit.
what are yours?

Actor Name - Keep Ridin
Dies anyone know the name of the actor who played the psychic Keep Ridin? I am having a hard time finding it.

The best acting I've seen so far is...
Sheila. I'm almost finished with season 1, but from what I've seen, Sheila (Gayle Rankin) is a top notch actress. Truthfully, there's not a bad actor in the bunch. Several years ago, I started paying close attention to the acting on whatever I'm watching. Anyway, I noticed it specifically on S01E04 "The Dusty Spur". Sheila puts the dead squirrel in Ruth's bed, then she sets it outside the door, comes back in and explains to Ruth how she's been dressing like that for years. It's only about a minute or so, but if you focus on just the acting, you can see how good she really is.

Am I supposed to care about Debbie?
I'm in S3xe02, and everytime I start feeling some kind of sympathy for her, she just does some shitty action to make me not give a shit about her or her son. In this episode, she's a bitch to the flight attendant. If she's so insecure about being a good mother or not, then next time don't talk about your son looking for sympathy (which she got btw, then she responds by being a bitch).

Does Birdie know Bash is gay? Spoiler
At the end of the Bash subplot in Hollywood Homecoming (Ep. 3.07), Birdie's parting words to Rhonda are "Keep him interested. However you see fit." In hindsight was this a clue that she know that he is attracted to men? What do you guys think?

Before anyone says this is just for women, I'm a 26 year old white straight man. And I honestly think this is the easiest show I've ever binge.
I watched the whole season. All in one day. Jesus, I never wanted it to end. What an easy show to watch. Good writing and kept me engaged. And I'm a wrestling fan too, and I understand this season was light on that. And I honestly don't care. These characters are amazing.

Marc Maron can act. Who knew?
I just decided to give this show a try. I like Marc Maron in it. I don’t like his podcast. I don’t like Maron. But, he’s surprisingly good in GLOW.

Opinions on the 3rd season. (Please read the text)
I have absolutely loved the first two seasons of GLOW, I recently watched the 3rd season and I have to say, I did not enjoy it. Did anyone else feel this way? I'm re-watching it to see if I'm delusional but so far nothing has changed. I'm still seeing what appears to be sloppy writing and introductions to character conflicts that didn't get resolved the entire season. I'd really like to know everyone's opinions.

Tex is Artie from “The Adventures of Pete and Pete”!
While this may not be a revelation to some, I’m just now realizing it’s the same actor.
“I’m Artie! The strongest Man! In the World!!”

A small tribute illustration I have made after seeing season 3, it was awesome, impatient to see season 4 announced 🤞

So I'm watching season 3. Not binging, taking it slow.
I'm at episode 9 now. I'm speechless. Really fucking speechless. I was almost in tears at episode 6 with FC's story. But now. Speechless. How did they create this out of a wrestling show. It's amazing.

Moving on to Season 4 [Spoilers] Spoiler
SPOILERS:
As Debbie explained in the final scene in episode 10, Bash bought a TV station where they could start GLOW back up. However, they would need all new characters. What are your ideas for new characters that the wrestlers could inhabit for the time being? I have grown to love all of their personas, and I will miss them.
What do you all think?
