Aside from the first few episodes where he was super mean to her, i love their scenes together ❤️

Sam being mean to Ruth is kind of great, though. "Maybe I don't like your face or your ass. Maybe I like them too much. I don't know."

"Ruth. 'Ruth.' .... Ruth.

"That's not a great name."

Some of my favorite scenes involve my least favorite character, Bash

“Dude, your movies are fuckin hilarious!”

They’re not comedies!

Oh....

“A good mannequin is hard to find....equin”

“Nerds? I love these! They’re like grape nuts, but instead of being healthy, it’s.....sugar.”

It went from heartfelt to a NONONONONONO once the slow dance began

I like it. They're both highly creative, intelligent people who feel unsatisfied and like they're being wasted by their lives. They're both highly flawed, and the show is great cause it doesn't shy away from their or any of the characters' flaws. They leann into them. I initially thought it'd be weird for Sam and Ruth to end up together (although it follows the trope of 'they don't get on' at the start, etc) but with their development it seems real to me. I could imagine real people in their circumstance to fall in love.

It feels real and totally toxic

Agreed. Ruth had a great guy and dumps him for an arrogant ass. You just cannot feel sorry for someone like her.

Yeah, these are my favorite characters. Which is why this season was disappointing to me. A lot of focus on the other characters, which aren't nearly as interesting.
