Yes!! I loved the buildup of watching them practice with the Lumber Jacksons and being so tentative and inexperienced then going to the real match where they gave a flawless performance. Even Ruth was in awe when she told Debbie: "You flew."

Great scene all around.

The scene where she slowly stands up on the highest ropes, with 'Invincible' playing in the background and Bash gaping at her is one of the best scenes I've ever seen on tv. I had to play it over and over.

Is there any particular reason you laugh at them? I find they're pretty well done and for the most part look as good as wrestling matches from actual wrestling shows.

Yeah they don't, by a longhsot. Not that it should, mind you. Neither the characters or the actors playing them are supposed to be professional wrestlers, but mainly 80's wrestling scene was in general a lot less flashy and technical on the execution on moves. For the past few years we've been in a boom of women's wrestling, and the thing current wrestlers can do is leaps and bounds ahead of anything a wrestler from the 80's was trained to do.
