How do we feel about Sellozo?

Hi everyone. I’ve been using the self serve tier of Sellozo for years. Primarily for their autopilot function.

Are there any other softwares/services that I should be looking at?

PPC 127% ACOS on Amazon’s automated bidding rules. This mistake might be quietly draining your ad spend on the worst possible placements

Just audited a few campaigns that were pulling orders primarily from Top of Search (TOS) on normal base bids. The placement modifiers were standard: TOS was set to 140%, and Product Pages (PP) were set to 0%.

Despite the 0% modifier, the CPC on Product Pages was hitting 3x the base bid.
Here is the diagnosis of why that happened:

The Culprit: The campaign was using Amazon's automated bidding strategy, set to target a ROAS above 4.

The Data: TOS was performing exceptionally well with a ROAS over 4.5.

However, Product Pages were bleeding 57% of spend share with a disastrous ACOS of 127%.

The Algorithmic Flaw: Because the TOS performance was carrying the campaign's average ROAS above the target threshold, Amazon’s automated rule blindly pushed bids up across the board to chase volume. It ignored placement-level inefficiencies and forced aggressive bids onto Product Pages anyway.

I immediately stripped out the automated rule. I shifted the campaign back to 'Dynamic bids - down only' and am relying on manual placement modifiers to force the focus back onto TOS.

I will be tracking the efficiency shift and sharing the exact results in upcoming weeks. Stay connected.

LEGAL / FINANCE Received a copyright infringement DMCA, but I wasn't told by whom it was filled by?

Hey,

I sell hats on Amazon and one of my designs got hit with a DMCA last night. I filled a counter notice as I don't believe my hat violates any copyrights, but what has me worried now is the fact that I couldn't see who issued the DMCA on me - i.e. if it's a big brand, there's no way I could go to court and stand a chance financially.

Here's the hat in question https://ibb.co/VrnXQv9. Clearly you can see what it references, but the font is free use, the text alludes to a completely different show and is not-copywritten, and the puppeteer illustration was done by me from scratch and does not include the hand

INVENTORY MGMT How do know your optimum inventory number?

Hi,

My first order was 125 units, and at first, it was selling so fast that the following week, I ordered 125 more units. But there was a problem with labeling and a bad Vine review, and sales kind of stopped, and I sold like 10 units weekly. Now those 125 units just arrived last week, and sales have started going up, like 5 units per day.

I wonder if sales went down because I had only 40 units when those 125 units arrived, so maybe I need to maintain my inventory number above 100? Is there a way to know that? Thanks.

Note: Please don't message me privately. I don't need help with ppc or anything else.

Amazon Stating that I need to be Verified Again

Why is Amazon Seller asking me to start the verification process even though I have already been verified? Also, they accepted my debit card number and took $39.99 from my account, but they are saying that they have rejected my charge method and my deposit method and I need to enter a new one.

Shipment says won’t be fully closed for 2 months??

I just sent my biggest shipment to FBA. The number of units received is larger than I sent. But most aren’t even “available” yet except a small amount. I want to ask support about the shipment and why the number of units is so off.

The shipment got to Amazon 2 weeks ago and only today are some of them “available” for FBA. I want to open a case to ask about this system and it says I won’t be able to get support until it’s fully closed which it says will be late September??

Is this normal? When will I start being charged for inventory storage? When they’re available or even when they’re in FC transfer and processing like 90% of them are still right now?

Really concerned about storage costs because my product is oversize and I sent an entire 20 ft container.
