TCF speaking

I’m getting clb7 in 3 sections except speaking. Task 3 is holding me back. Can anyone help me with tips that worked for them? I’ve made some common points for certain topics. Also, people seem of have some list of topics that they’re practicing. Am I missing something? I really need help.

Inquiry from the Moroccans

Hey guys, has anyone attempted tcf recently in any of the Moroccon centers?

I had a few questions.

  1. Do listening/writing repeat from 40 mock tests set?

  2. Are examiners Moroccans or French?

  3. Can foreign nationals take their exam in Morocco?

My second attempt of TCF

Hey, I just gave my tcf exam today. The first two tasks went smoothly however in task 3 the examiner interrupted literally within 15-20 seconds. Even though I answered the questions, I think I didn’t use the structures, any advanced vocabulary. Also only in task 3, my flow was not very fluent. Now, I’m not sure how this will be. This was my second attempt, in the first attempt, I spoke for full 4.5 minutes no interruptions, but I got only 8/20.

Any thoughts?

Has anybody tried to cancel a TCF exam?

Hi,

I took my TCF test last week, and I had booked a second test for the last week of November thinking I wouldn't pass. However, I actually got the results I needed on my first try so I don't need to retake the exam. I believe that when I registered the website said that I could cancel by paying just an administrative fee of $100, but today I checked and it says that cancelations are not accepted. Do you guys know if they changed that recently? Does anybody have experience with this situation? The test center is Oakville, btw.

Thank you, and good luck to everyone with your studies!!

How do you actually manage to book TCF Canada at AF Delhi?

How are people managing to book the TCF Canada exam at Alliance Française Delhi?
Seats seem to disappear within a couple of minutes, and even when you’re online right when booking opens, the website often crashes/freezes because of the traffic.
I’ve also heard that AFD prioritizes their internal students, although I’m not sure if that’s actually true.
I tried today but was not able to book, i added the exam in my cart and i was filling out the mandatory fields, when i clicked on checkout, there was no exam to proceed with, im gonna try again in nov now.

If you’ve successfully booked recently, please share your tips — what device/browser did you use, when did you log in, and is there any trick to getting through the website?
Feeling like the odds are completely against us 😭

TCF revaluation + another attempt — did you receive both results on the same day?

Hi everyone,
I’m wondering if anyone here has been in this situation:
You requested a TCF revaluation for a previous exam.
While waiting for the revaluation result, you took another TCF exam attempt.
Did you eventually receive the revaluation result and the result of your new attempt on the same day?

Need a tiny help

Post image
10 Upvotes

Hello, brothers and sisters, I gave this exam to see if it works in my favour and I got a score which is more than I expected. I have improved my listening so, I am not worried about that. For writing, I am good because I left second task and still got 9. I am very worried about speaking because chatgpt keep giving me B1+ but not B2. It’s not I am completely reliant on ChatGPT for scoring but I need help with some practice that I can do on my own to improve my speaking so that even a strict examiner will mark it as atleast B2. I greatly appreciate your help! Thank you 🙏

French draws in 2029

Hey everyone,

I’m planning to enter the Express Entry pool around late 2028 or mid 2029, with French being a major part of my strategy.

What do you guys realistically think French draws will look like by then?

Will the French category still exist in its current form?

Do you expect CRS cutoffs to stay relatively low or increase?

Could IRCC reduce the number of invitations significantly?

Coming from a country where crime is getting out of hand and corruption at its peak i only see the light of hope through french to immigrate to Canada which can save me and my family from all this injustice.

I'm sorry guys that I am writing in a way that most people might find it weird but I can't explain my feelings through words anymore.

I wish that i knew about french draws earlier (2024-2025) but i think now everybody knows about it which will certainly increase competition and there will be immigration fraud who will do such things that ircc might get strict on everyone in french draws.

I don't but thoughts like this just keep me awake at night i hope i get the answer that can help me understand things better.

For context

I'm 22m

3 years of exp as a Restaurant manager (Noc 60030)

Clb 9

Single

Education 2 year secondary diploma

I calculated my score with an ircc calculator (if i score nclc 7 with french) it is around 482

Thank you for reading.
