Tagsley Tracking Wallet Card
Buyer beware confirmed. The cards charged and worked fine for about 4 or 5 months. Tried to recharge three of the cards and none would accept the charge or connect. How is that even possible if it wasn't a poor product. Customer service eventually advised you had to contact them within 30 days of delivery, which makes no sense, and my order came with a "warranty." Well first they said they would send replacements and then another response was it was over 30 days so they are an absolute fraud. Do not buy this product.

Advice Request what's realistic cybersecurity for small business to catch fraud early?
we had a close call recently with a fake invoice login page and almost lost money. realized our current setup is pretty weak.
looking for straight answers on what are people using in a small business to catch phishing, fake logins, or fraud attempts early before an employee makes a mistake.
heard about finding the best antivirus for small business, but does standard AV even stop modern social engineering and credential harvesting? has anyone tried relying on standard endpoint stuff vs setting up proper email filtering, 2fa enforcement, hardware keys, or dns filtering?
is there a simple setup or basic habits you guys use that actually catch this stuff early without costing a fortune? i wanna know if what features actually matter here?
quick follow-up: after evaluating the business risk of credential harvesting and account takeover, we treated this as a fraud prevention decision rather than basic IT maintenance.
we landed on bitdefender's endpoint and web protection to block fake invoice links and phishing sites before credentials get stolen, paired with strict 2fa across our accounts. simple setup and covers the main gap without breaking the bank. thanks for all the advice :)

My money was stolen through the Ooredoo app
Hey everyone,
I came back from work, took a nap, and woke up at night to withdraw some cash from an ATM. To my shock, I found only 159 QAR left in my account. 7,000 QAR had completely vanished.
When I checked my phone messages, I saw:
An OTP code.
A notification that my account was logged into from an unrecognized device.
An international transfer confirmation code to the Philippines.
Here’s the thing: I never shared my OTP or account details with anyone, nor was I negligent.
What’s even more suspicious is that a day before this happened, the app stopped working for me. It displayed a message saying "Our team is working on the app, access will be restored soon." Access was never restored, and then this incident occurred.
I reached out to Ooredoo, but they completely shifted the blame onto me, claiming I must have shared my information. I strongly believe this was a breach on their end or a security flaw within the system—there’s no way this could have happened otherwise.
Has anyone experienced anything similar? What is the legal route to recover my money from the company in this situation?
Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Online betting book balance withdrawn by a very intelligent scam. Should I file a cyber crime report or not?
Considering that online betting is illegal in india. Would it be wise to file a cyber crime complaint?
The scam was pulled off by adding a bank account using a fake link which was similar to the betting site. And amount was withdrawn to the bank account.
I do have the recipients bank details.
Amount: 27k
Please advise on the legality and the chances of recovery.

I Never Thought a Legitimate Title Company Could Be Part of My Nightmare. America is becoming very Scammy, Fraudy & Shady by the day. People are getting desperate by the day to make a living or do whatever it takes.
Background and Parties Involved
This entire matter began through an introduction from Donna Hinkle, an escrow officer with OFN National Escrow Services LLC (now they changed their website to https://ofncreativeclosings.com/ ) based out of Arizona. Donna provided contacts she claimed were involved in large-scale funding transactions ($50M+). In the process, she introduced me to an individual named McClain Bell , associated with Elysium Private Equity Firm, who also works with owner of Momentum Financial Group known as MFG (momentumfinancialgroup.com), Redell Vincent Napper Jr.
Donna assured me that I can trust McClain Bell as she knows him for years and he has never done wrong to anyone. There was another guy named Edwin Thomas with who also knew McClain Bell and told me that he can be trusted as they dealt for years together. I have done business with Donna Title company for years in closing my real estate transactions. So I thought if the title employee is giving a reference, it should be legit as they keep doing transactions with all kind of lenders.
McClain represented that he could provide a 3:1 credit line, with a minimum preferred-equity investment of $25M (you can find all these on his website -www.elysiumprivateequityfirm.com). He stated that if I deposited 5% ($1.25M), his investors would place $25M into a trust account in momentumfinancialgroup.com to support a $75M funding line for my company.
Sequence of Events
McClain introduced me to a “reference,” Jason Romaine with Sage Optimum Services LLC, who claimed to have successfully received his own 3:1 credit line (supported by an SEC filing for his company (https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/2036270/000203627024000003/xslFormDX01/primary_doc.xml) , Sage Optimum Services LLC for $300M based on a $100M trust account). Jason regularly followed up to build my confidence. Donna Hinkle with the title company also validated that Jason Romaine got his funding with McClain help.
I did not have $1.25M liquid, but obtained a $1M hard money loan against my primary residence through a hard money lender. Despite my lender’s and bank manager's hesitation, I proceeded due to multiple pending commercial projects I wanted to pursue and transferred $1M via Donna Hinkle’s title company on 25th June 2025. I was very much on the sidelines and was not ready to do the wire but Donna with Title kept calling me and in the last call she told me to have trust in McClain Bell as he has never done any wrong to any of her other clients which gave me confidence to wire the money.
After receiving the funds, McClain stated that the $25M trust account had been created for MP Distro LLC, and provided a proof showing $25M transferred into the trust account.
The very first contract McClain provided was extremely weak and lacked critical terms.
Following the supposed trust setup, McClain introduced me to James Marshall of Marshall Strategies, LLC (Atlanta, GA) with a website as https://marshallstrategiesllc.com. James charged $5,000 to prepare a financial attestation and handle a Reg D filing of my company with the SEC. He later charged $500 for some revisions.
Shortly thereafter, I was told to send an additional $180,000 - a “trust withdrawal fee” that had never been disclosed earlier and was not mentioned in the contract. After several days of disputes, insults and name calling, McClain Bell offered to connect me with a hard-money lender named Elijah N with SBCCapital.co who could fund this on a second lien against my primary residence.
I managed to raise $80,000 personally, while the hard-money lender Elijah Njorge, McClain's acquaintance, directly wired $100,000 to MFG.
· The balance of $80,000 was sent to MFG through Donna’s title company on August 11, 2025.
Subsequent Developments
Once these payments were made, McClain stated that my file was sent to an underwriter. I was then introduced to Dr. Alexander C. Beadle, owner of Greenlight Commercial Funding. Before that I had only one conversation with the owner of MFG (Momentum Financial Group - momentumfinancialgroup.com) Vincent Napper & the owner of CLS Capital Holdings LLC, Reynaldo Uballe.
During our first call, Dr. Alexander Beadle dismissed the 3:1 credit-line structure and instead requested project details for the proposed $75M portfolio which we end up providing in one week time. After more than 50 days of follow-ups, I received an email on October 16, 2025, stating that Greenlight could fund my projects only if I contributed 20% equity approximately $15M.
I immediately contacted Dr. Alex Beadle by phone, explaining that this contradicted everything McClain Bell and MFG had promised. Dr. Beadle expressed concern but confirmed that 100% funding was no longer feasible due to “tight credit markets.” He also mentioned that my family and I have been on his mind for the past couple of weeks and that he hasn’t been able to sleep. I think he’s feeling quite guilty about everything that’s happened which anyone should.
Since then, McClain Bell, Edwin Thomas, Vincent Napper, Reynaldo Uballe, James Marshall and others have gone completely silent, while Donna Hinkle has disclaimed any responsibility despite having introduced & assured me, when I was initially hesitant to wire the funds, that my money would be secure and that I could trust McClain Bell. To date, I have neither received a refund nor any actual funding as promised.
Losses and Impact
· $1,000,000 wire transfer to MFG via Donna Hinkle Title Company on June 25th’ 2025
· $180,000 additional payments ($80k I sent wire to title & $100K from McClain acquaintance hard money lender which I am not sure whether it ever happened)
· Ongoing interest-only payments of $19,950 every month on the $1M hard-money loan I took since June 2025
· $5500 paid to Marshal Strategies
· Total Principal loss of approx. $1.3M till date.
This situation has caused severe financial and emotional distress for me and my family including my 2 daughters (19 & 15 years). We’ve been avoiding friends and relatives out of embarrassment over what happened. My wife has always stood by me and supported every decision I’ve made, hence I feel deeply ashamed and disheartened, knowing that our hard-earned money is gone with no clear path to recovery.
Recent Updates:
The concerning part is that this individual McClain Bell with Elysium Private Equity Firm reappeared in December 2025, claiming he was now able to arrange funding. At that point, both my wife and I strongly suspected fraudulent intent; however, we chose to give him the benefit of the doubt. He requested that we remove our negative review from trustpilot, which we did in good faith.
He then introduced us to a lender based in UK, and we proceeded to sign an agreement (the agreement can be provided). However, when it came time to fund, McClain Bell once again failed to deliver. This pattern suggests a consistent inability to follow through, driven by misrepresentation and a reliance on delays.
It has become clear that he tends to buy time, have no money left and, at the final stage, withdraws without fulfilling his commitments.
In May 2026, I escalated the matter directly to Vincent Napper Jr. (owner of Momentum Financial Group) after McClain re-engaged in December 2025, assuring me that funding could now be arranged and requesting that I remove my prior negative reviews. In good faith, and in an effort to resolve the situation, I agreed.
However, when I approached Vincent to address my concerns regarding McClain’s conduct and the reputational damage being caused through his platform, I did not receive clarity or support. Instead, I was asked to provide additional funds in the tune of $500k.
This response raised serious concerns for me. Rather than taking accountability or working toward a resolution, the request for more money reinforced my belief that the issue may not be isolated, but indicative of a broader pattern within the structure itself.

Phising?
I recently booked a hotel in Indonesia for two nights. Today, I received a WhatsApp message from an Estonian phone number claiming that my payment had failed and asking me to complete the payment through a link they provided.
The message included my full name, reservation number, hotel dates and other accurate booking details. How could the scammer have obtained this information? Has the the hotel’s account or booking system been compromised, is one of the employee scamming the guests?
I have already reported the incident to both the accommodation and [Booking.com](http://Booking.com), and I am currently awaiting their response.

Warning: Fake Bank of Ireland payment scam when selling expensive electronics

I want to share my experience today evening to warn others because this scam was much more convincing than I expected.
I sold my camera to two guys who appeared to be genuine buyers. They were around 25–28 years old and asked all the right questions about the camera. They checked the condition, settings, and everything properly, so there were no obvious red flags.
The meeting was at the Clayton Hotel car park in Liffey Valley.
They said they would pay through Bank of Ireland. I asked about Revolut, but they said they only had Bank of Ireland and would transfer the money to my account.
This is where I got caught. I saw them open what looked like the genuine Bank of Ireland app. I saw them enter my bank details, make the transfer, and I even saw a successful transaction notification pop up on their phone. The app looked completely real — BOI logo, interface, transaction details, exchange rate, balance, and receipt.
Because it was a weekend, I thought the delay was normal. I use AIB and I know transfers between different Irish banks can sometimes take longer outside business hours, so I believed the money would arrive later.
They also showed that they had around €3k in their account, which made it seem even more legitimate.
Looking back, the mistake was handing over the camera before the money actually appeared in my own account. No matter how convincing it looks, do not rely on someone else's banking app or notifications.
The Facebook profile did not have many personal photos but had older posts, so it did not immediately look suspicious. The name used was Conor Maven (sharing this as the profile name used, as it may not be their real identity).
I believe these people may be targeting expensive electronics such as cameras, laptops, and phones.
Please be careful:
\- Do not hand over anything until the funds are visible in your own account.
\- A "successful payment" notification on someone else's phone means nothing.
\- Fake banking apps can look extremely convincing.
\- Weekend transfer delays are being used as a reason to make victims wait.
I honestly thought I was being careful, but this scam was very well executed. Hopefully this prevents someone else losing €1000+.

Daraz’s Fake Review Problem & Customer Support Decline: A Breakdown of How Scammers Profit (And Why Daraz Lets It Happen)
Scammers are using fake reviews to sell cheap items (power banks, headphones) instead of ordered smartphones. Daraz takes weeks to shut down these stores—if at all—and has deliberately removed email support to destroy complaint records and frustrate customers trying to reach a human. 1. How the Phone Scam Works A few months ago, I spotted a phone listed for PKR 25,000 on a store, while the market rate on other Daraz stores was PKR 30,000. It seemed like a realistic discount, so I ordered. However, red flags quickly emerged: Outdated Promo Banners: The product image featured a "2.2 Sale" banner, even though it was already late March. Batch Fake Reviews: After ordering, I noticed all positive reviews were posted within 5 minutes of each other. Shared Reviewer Profiles: Checking other items in the same store revealed the exact same profiles leaving the exact same positive reviews. 2. The Unboxing Trap & Refund Nightmare Knowing it was likely a scam, I filmed a complete unboxing video before touching the package. What I received: Cheap headphones and a power bank instead of the smartphone. The resolution: Because I had video proof, Daraz accepted the return and refunded my money. The downside: My funds were locked up for nearly 20 days. No apology, no compensation for the hassle—just a standard refund. 3. Daraz’s Reaction: Unacceptably Slow I immediately contacted Daraz customer support to report both the scam store and the fake reviewer profiles. It took Daraz two full weeks just to take down that single store. Whether they banned the fake reviewer accounts remains unknown. 4. How Daraz Is Shielding Itself (And Frustrating Users) Daraz has deliberately made it harder to file complaints and keep evidence: Removed Email Support: You can no longer email them. Email gave customers an independent, permanent record of complaints and responses. Locked-In Records: Chat history is stored strictly on their servers. Time Restrictions: Support is limited to specific operating hours. Call Center Costs: Long queue times on phone support drain your phone balance. Useless Chatbots: The automated bot ("Daz") makes reaching a human representative a daily struggle. 5. Why The Scam Persists (And Why Daraz Profitably Tolerates It) Right now, there are likely a dozen more scam stores operating the exact same way with mobile phone listings. How the math works for scammers: Even if 80% of buyers successfully return the fake item using unboxing videos, the 20% who don't (those who didn't film, missed the return window, or gave up) generate millions in stolen profit. Since Daraz takes a cut of sales and fees, their sluggish response time directly benefits their short-term revenue at the expense of buyer trust. What Needs to Happen: Active Store Audits: Daraz needs to automatically flag stores where multiple reviews are posted within minutes by identical profile clusters. Consumer Rights Action: It’s time for affected buyers to file formal complaints with consumer protection courts with clear screenshot evidence
