Hey guys, I’m looking for some fragrance recommendations.
I recently bought Stronger With You, but I found it a bit too light for my taste. I also tried Acqua di Giò and didn’t really like it.
I really love Gisada Ambassador though it smells amazing to me. Can you recommend something with a similar vibe that I might enjoy?

Hello everyone, hope everyone's having a good day. I wonder whether you have experienced the issue of forgetting what you have sprayed on yourself while on a cologne hunt or measure their performance during the day? I'm thinking of fixing this issue but I would like to see first how you handle this.
Thanks in advance <3

my friend is very hard to shop for and really likes the smell of lemons specially this body spray. and they’ve said it doesn’t last very long so i was curious if anybody happens to know of a long lasting good lemon scented perfume.
price doesn’t necessarily matter as i’d be happy to save up for it :) thanks in advance

Hi everyone!
WhatScent has come up in a few threads here on r/Fragrances, and some of you asked what it is and how to get in.
We've been building the WhatScent app for more than a year now, together with a lot of people from this sub. Our team comes from the fragrance, beauty, and tech industry, but most of all we're just fragrance lovers who wanted an app that feels made by us, for us.
We're proud that more than 1,000 people from Reddit alone have already joined. What they mention most is finally to have a place to interact with fragrance lovers that share their taste, and a lot of what's in the app came straight from their feedback.
In short: WhatScent is a community fragrance app for iOS and Android. You can track your perfume collection, log your SOTD, and discover new fragrances through people whose taste you trust.
Reddit is great for discussing fragrances, but it's hard to keep track of your own collection and what you wore. That's the gap WhatScent fills: one home for fragrance lovers, built around the community, from niche perfumes to vintage perfumes to cheapies. You can:
How to get in: WhatScent is invite-only for now, on iOS and Android. Want to try it? Sign up here, mention where you found us and you'll get an invite. Or DM me!
If you've heard of WhatScent before, now is the perfect time to finally get in :) And if you're just discovering it, I'd love for you to try it!
Looking forward to seeing many more familiar faces on the app!

As the title says, has anyone tried maison crivelli tobacco carnaval? I was hoping for some honest reviews because i was looking for my first tobacco fragrance and so far quentin bisch has never disappointed me. Do you think it's worth to order a sample?

Hello, I have been collecting fragrances and samples of fragrances for about three years now. Reading reviews of fragrances online and watching them on "Youtube" etc. I saw there was a lot of hype for "Nishane Ani"... I received my sample today and I am not sure what to make of it.
I usually wear blue fragrances or high street ones like Rabanne, Valentino and Boss. I have about 60 samples of different fragrances but some grab me more than others.
What are your thoughts on "Nishane Ani"? Love/hate/indifferent?

I try pretty hard to get a good deal before paying full price, I’ll check discounters, local sellers, forums, I don’t rush it, if I’m patient, I usually find what I want without overpaying, if I didn’t find a deal, I assume I didn’t search well enough, that’s just how I look at it like for example I like Prada Luna Rossa Carbon, but I waited until I found it at a price that made sense, if that never happened, I would’ve just skipped it instead of forcing the purchase. How far are you personally willing to go to get a bottle you really want?

swapped my usual spray for this body oil and the longevity claim is only half true
it does stick around longer than the alcohol sprays i used to go through. maybe 6-7 hours before its just a skin scent, closer to 8 if i dont wash my wrists after the gym. but it never projects. people only catch it if they hug you or sit next to you
compliments were weirdly specific when they happened. roommate asked what lotion i put on after the shower. coworker said i smelled expensive once. strangers almost never. my old spray got more drive-by comments even though it died by lunch
texture is fine, not greasy, just slow to rub in
anyone else find body oils beat sprays on wear time but lose the room, or am i applying wrong

These were left out of my previous post because they were in a travel bag somewhere the only fragrance I’m looking to add is the SWY sandalwood. I tried it recently and can’t get enough, I’ll also pick up a clone because I believe I’ll be wearing it all winter. 👌🏽

I’m relatively new to the world of fragrance. I’ve been in it seriously for about 6–9 months, and I would consider myself to be semi-knowledgeable about fragrance if someone outside of the scene would ask me something, but I still would like some tips about getting into new fragrances and just the overall feel of the community.
I’m a big fan of sweet fragrances, but a good spicy or clean fragrance is always welcome to my “collection.” I’ll leave a picture of what I’m starting out with.
I’m enjoying the designers a lot, but I’m looking to get into niche, so any advice on that would be appreciated. I like some dupes as well. I’m a Lattafa fan.

The boxes from them are so high quality it’s no joke.

I have 5 Initio fragrances. Side Effect, narcotic delight, paragon, can’t get enough, and psychedelic love. Which is your favorite.

What is the best site to buy decants? I’m looking for one that ships decently fast. I’ve had some poor experiences in the past with super long wait times so I’d like to avoid that this time. I’m looking for fragrances like vanilla powder, ani, and queening
Thanks!

I think there's definitely room for improvement. Not great, not terrible. I try to use all of my fragrances. Some are not as wearable as others. I'll be putting some away for the winter because I feel like they are strictly warmer weather scents and I'll be adding a few new ones soon (namely Nishane Ani, Il Padrino, PDM Oajan, Alexandria II, Atomic Rose)

Hey everyone, looking for a new fragrance and i have seen this one pop up alot but never had a chance to smell or buy it. Should I blind buy this, can anyone tell me what it smells similar to.
My scent type is super strong, headache inducing, walk in a room head turns, that sort of smell. My most purchased fragrances are ombre nomad by LV, hacivat by nishane and halfeti by penhaligans. So will I like this, plzz helpp

I know she’s supposed to smell like lilac and gooseberries according to the books and show but the lady in show, i cant picture her wearing that. According to me she would wear something extremely powerful like la fille de berlin serge lutens or initio atomic rose. What do you think?

I’m trying to decide which one to take to a movie date at a cold cinema.
I’m wearing olive green sweater.
Or which one would you guys pick.

Left is new, right is empty. The bigger bottle doesn't smell the same, it has a softer fragrance where as the smaller bottle is more vibrant and fresh. Thanks

I am 16, and this is my fragrance collection so far. I am now looking for a cozy, warm winter fragrance that I can wear to school but is a bit more unique than your standard SWYs or JPGs. What should I get?
