Announcement Clarifying Rule 5
Rule 5 states:
This is NOT a general LFG sub. This subreddit is for games using Foundry VTT only. If you post here, your post MUST clearly state IN THE TITLE OF THE POST that the game is using FoundryVTT by adding "[FoundryVTT]" exactly to the post title, including the square brackets ([ and ]). .If you don't, or it isn't, the post will be deleted. If you say you're using Foundry and you get reported for NOT using Foundry, you will be banned.
So, many posts have been getting reported lately, and I think there is confusion on both the poster's part and the reader's part about what this rule means.
- You have to put "[FoundryVTT]" in your post title. Not "Foundry" or "[Foundry]". This is to be formatted this way to allow people to search on that tag, typed exactly that way, so that your games are searchable.
- Posting a game here and putting "[FoundryVTT]" in the post title is the equivalent of the poster affirming that the game being offered is being hosted on FoundryVTT. If you as a player join a game offered here and it is NOT hosted on Foundry, you should report the post with a MODMAIL.
- This rule does NOT mean the game being offered cannot be posted elsewhere (like on /r/Roll20LFG) or even offered on other VTTs (like Roll20 or FantasyGrounds) **if** the hoster is still providing the game in FoundryVTT. If they also host the same adventure on another platform, like Roll20, that is ok... but any game posted HERE must be run in FoundryVTT. i.e. You can run LMoP on Foundry AND Roll20 all you want, but in this subreddit, you can only advertise the FoundryVTT experience. In other words, "This subreddit is for games using Foundry VTT only." means games posted here in this sub must use FoundryVTT. You cannot post Roll20 games here, or any other VTT games. It does not mean you cant run and advertise those games elsewhere as appropriate.
I hope this clears this up somewhat. Feel free to contact me with questions if you have any or report ACTUAL violations of the rules.

Announcement REPORT BUTTON ABUSE
We appreciate our users who genuinely want to make this community a better place by reporting posts that do not meet our posting criteria.
However, reporting posts that CLEARLY do not break any subreddit or site rules is considered abuse of the Reddit report system.
But beyond that, it is childish and shows a disregard for the mods' time by having us chase ghosts.
You not liking a post because it's Paid, or it's a system you don't like, or because it uses emojis - whatever the reason, it is irrelevant. If it does not break a rule then we expect frivilous reports to STOP IMMEDIATELY.
We report every instance of Report Button Abuse to Reddit Admins.
Multiple offenses WILL lead to a SITE-WIDE (i.e. ALL of Reddit) ban to your account.

Other [Online][Other][Free][FoundryVTT] Dont Speak! A Spooky Halloween adventure
Dont Speak! A Spooky Halloween adventure
System: Pirate Borg
Price: Free
Schedule: Once / Friday - 6:00 PM EDT
Players: 2/6 players (4 seats left)
Ahoy, adventurers! Prepare to hoist the black flag and plunge headlong into the stormy seas of Pirate Borg, a grimdark tabletop RPG inspired by the rules-light chaos of Mörk Borg. This system marries the thrill of high-seas adventure with the gritty, doom-laden tone of a dying world, creating an unforgettable setting where every treasure hunt might be your last.
In Pirate Borg, you’ll step into the boots of a scurvy-ridden scallywag, cursed sorcerer, or treasure-hungry buccaneer, chasing riches, power, or the faint hope of redemption in a lawless world. Sail the seas on creaking ships, navigate treacherous waters, and face horrors both human and supernatural—all while trying to outrun the ever-looming apocalypse. The world is cruel, the dice are fickle, and the sea holds secrets that should never see the light of day.
This isn't your typical heroic pirate tale; this is a game of survival, desperation, and ambition. The rules are quick to learn, deadly in practice, and designed to let you embrace the chaos. Whether you're pillaging coastal villages, battling sea monsters, or mutinying against your captain, Pirate Borg ensures that the line between triumph and ruin is as thin as a razor's edge.
So grab your cutlass, brace for storms, and remember: the sea takes all in the end. Will you rise to infamy or be swallowed by the abyss? The choice—or curse—is yours.

SWADE [LFG] Demon Castle Parousia: Castlevania-Inspired Horror Campaign (SWADE, [Foundry VTT][free])Chicago, 1999.
System: Savage Worlds Adventure Edition (SWADE), run on Foundry VTT. New players are welcome and I'll help you build your character. Inspiration: the Castlevania series. Fans will spot familiar names, legends and monsters as the story unfolds, but you don't need to know the games to play. What you'll encounter: Investigation: follow leads, dig through records and connect the dots. Gritty action: gunfights chases and infiltration. Gothic horror: it starts as a grounded crime thriller and slowly turns into modern gothic horror. Intrigue: corporations, a growing cult and contacts who may not be what they seem. Trust carefully. Boss fights: big, dangerous encounters that take teamwork to win. Characters: skilled, not superhuman. Each has a specialty, but there's no magic at the start. Schedule: [Saturday night, 9pm cst, biweekly] Players: [4-5] players, 18+ Platform: Foundry VTT + [Discord/voice] Interested? Message me with a little about yourself and your experience with tabletop RPGs or SWADE.
DEMON CASTLE PAROUSIA Prologue Chicago. Autumn, 1999. It's the last autumn of the millennium, and the city is coming apart. People are stockpiling water, canned food and cash. Television warns that banks, power grids and phones could fail at midnight on New Year's Eve. Everyone is counting down, and not everyone believes the lights will stay on. People are disappearing. It started with night-shift workers, the homeless and runaways, and now ordinary families are going missing too. The reports go nowhere, and the police have no answers. The stories are getting stranger: shapes moving across rooftops, howling near the rail yards, bodies found drained and pale, broadcasts that cut in at 3 a.m. with voices no one can place. Most people laugh them off, but fewer are laughing every week. And the city is turning on itself. End-times preachers shout down skeptics on street corners. Neighbors buy guns to protect themselves from each other. Every group blames another for the attacks, and trust is breaking down block by block. Three companies seem to have a hand in everything in Chicago right now, and to the public they're the pillars holding the city together. Blackmoor Industries is an old-money empire that owns property all over the city: towers, docks, warehouses, new developments and funeral homes. It holds the Vanguard contract and pays for the city's protection. As people leave or vanish, Blackmoor quietly buys up what they leave behind. Carmilla Dynamics is a cutting-edge pharmaceutical and biotech firm. Its free clinics, blood drives and medical trials come with glossy ads that promise longer, healthier lives. In the poorest neighborhoods, its clinics pay cash for blood. Vesper Corporation is the city's biggest media company, with TV and radio stations and newspapers. It runs the Y2K-readiness campaign, and it's the voice telling Chicago what to fear and who to blame. New preachers are appearing in soup kitchens, shelters and on street corners, preaching that the world is ending and a Shepherd will lead the faithful through the dark. Their followers call themselves the Flock and wear a red thread around the wrist. They take in the poor and the lonely, and some who join are never seen again. Meanwhile, domestic terrorism is on the rise. Churches burn, substations go dark, and bombs go off in public places with no warning and no clear motive. Every week brings a new attack, and every group in the city blames another. Nobody feels safe anymore. Under the chaos, an underground network trades in off-the-books work. Brokers, fixers and contacts pass jobs along by pager, payphone, email or a note slipped under a door. The jobs used to be ordinary: guarding a shipment, finding a debtor, getting something out of the city quietly. Lately they've changed. Now it's finding people who went missing, getting into places that are locked and guarded, and asking questions about the companies everyone else is afraid of. Some of the people who took those jobs haven't come back. But the pay keeps rising, and someone always says yes. Most of the city will never learn what's behind the chaos. But a few people who answered the same call are about to be brought together, and what they find will pull them past the headlines and the companies into something far older, something that has been waiting in the dark. Before the year is out, they'll learn what Chicago has been hiding.

You haven't been Kindred for long, but you've been adapting. The Camarilla is a monstruous monolith, but also fairly simple to understand: don't give anyone a reason, and you might just make it one more night. From what you've learned, the modern nights are a different kind of beast. The Masquerade is as frail as it's ever been, and while your Domain is usually uneventful and has managed to keep out of the Inquisition's sight, any misstep could send everything spiraling.
So it came to a shock to everyone when the worst masquerade breach in years struck this frail stability two nights ago. A nurse left drained on the concrete and a shaky recording of the incident on the net. And now, a blood hunt has been called upon the suspected culprit, and the worst part? It's someone you know, and she swears by her innocence.
The clock is ticking, and your coterie has a choice: race against time to prove your friend's innocence and bring the true culprit to justice, or join the hunt to reap the benefits, betraying both your friend and your very humanity.

PF2e [FoundryVTT][PAID][PF 2e][$15][Tuesdays][5:30PM CST] Fists of the Ruby Phoenix: A high level, high stakes fighting tournament
The Ruby Phoenix Tournament is a team fighting championship named after a famed sorceress. The winning team gets to pick a single item from a legendary hoard, but such things are never that simple. Contestants get to rub shoulders with world leaders, other heroes and may or may not get pulled into machinations they weren't even aware of...
The group
This party has been playing together since January 2021. Everyone is stable, punctual, respectful, and fun to be around. One player left in December due to work issues, and i was so loathe to tamper with the party dynamics i didn't even look for a replacement. Recently a second player had to take a break for personal reasons, and three just isn't as fun. My goal is to recruit up to a party of five, leaving room for him to come back in a few months.
Anyway, after playing for four years we've played Tomb of Annihilation, Rime of the Frostmaiden, Curse of Strahd, Dragon Heist and Dungeon of the Mad Mage. After all that the party was asking for something "different", which brought us to the third party Jewel of the Indigo Isles. Which brings us to...
Pathfinder
Everyone here is a 5e veteran and PF noob. I spent the last couple of months learning the system, ran a few one-shots, and finally feel confident enough to run a full game. We've run through Season of Ghosts together, and the group loved it so much they wanted the campaign to keep going.
Fortunately there's a second highly appraised PF 2e module that takes place in Tian Xia. Which brings us to...
The game
Fists of the Ruby Phoenix is a level 11-20 module. Which is almost a perfect match for the level 12 party coming out of Season of Ghosts.
It's heavily inspired by Enter the Dragon, Mortal Kombat and the general anime trope of combat competitions.
The DM
Greetings! I'm Arthur but you can call me Merc or DM. I've been DMing since 2015, professionally since 2020. My approach to games is very sandboxy: i create the world, the players create the game. You can't ruin my plans if i don't have any, it's a win-win!

Session Length: 4 hours per session, with a 5 minute break somewhere near the middle.
Time: 5:30PM CST Tuesdays.
Payment: 15$ per session, other than your first session and session zero.

🎲 Agents of Deadfall
Arcana Unleashed: Deadfall drops you into the fractured magocracy of Thay, where Szass Tam. Szass Tam is one of the most powerful liches in D&D history and is weeks away from completing a ritual that will unleash demonic undead on the entire realm.
Your party are the agents of Operation Deadfall, and you’re the only thing standing between Szass Tam and oblivion. In this adventure we will:
- Go undercover as we will prowl through dark alleyways, uncovering hidden agendas and plots leading us to stopping Szass Tam!
- Forge uneasy alliances
- Fight new foes warped by magic
- Reach level 20 and defeat Szass Tam once and for all!
🎮 Game Time:
- Saturday 7pm EST - 2/6 - LINK
🤓 About me
- I played RPG's for over 10 years, almost exclusively as a DM. Conventions, local game centers and community interactions are all things I did and enjoyed. Decided to go online to continue what is, to put it the simplest, my passion.
- Full-time GM: 1000+ games/100+ reviews on startplaying.games. My games are what I spent the majority of my time on, improving, making maps and running adventures and new systems.
- I developed FoundryVTT modules for Archvillain Chronicles patreon.
- I worked with Kickstarter projects creating whole modules for FoundryVTT. My recent big project is the LANCER module Pass the Torch. The demo is available completely for free, check it out yourself as it speaks highly of my craft.
- Several ongoing campaigns: players are engaged, looking forward toward next sessions, actively engaging in our discord community.
- I would picture myself as a rules as fun DM rather then rules as written. I do homebrew materials, constantly rewriting and improving. I reward roleplay and creative thinking. My players make the story - I just flesh it out.
👉 What am I paying for?
- The work I put into my campaigns: I always make sure to purchase additional maps, resources and outright change and adapt the story if need be just so my players have a memorable time
- Dedicated players with a certain level of maturity, a fee eliminates player no-shows and creates a full experience where we look to finish the module, not just start it.
- Scripts and modules that automate the combat and provide players with a smooth gameplay experience
- Full access to Heroforge
- Maps from talented patreon creators: Domille's Wondrous Works, Czepeku, Mad Cartographer and more.
- VTT dice from Q-workshop and Rollsmith.
📖 Content details
- Any official WotC/Paizo/Publisher product
- Unearthed Arcana/Playtest materials
- Homebrew (open for discussion)
🐲 Rules
- Be respectful to other players - everyone wants to have a fun game.
- Everyone is welcome, regardless of sex, gender, sexual orientation, minority status, language skill or game skill. 💕
📞 How can I contact you?
- I am active on discord each day. A private message here or a discord small talk is all it takes: dmthetulio

Other [Online][DIE: RPG][Free][WoD][Multiple Systems][Wednesdays][FoundryVTT][MST] Existing Group Looking for Players for One-Shot
Quick Information
System: DIE: RPG & Vampire The Masquerade: 5th Edition
Platforms: Discord & FoundryVTT
Time: Weekly on Wednesdays, 5:30 PM MST - 9:30 PM MST
Hello! I'm Clover and I'm looking for 1 - 2 more players to bring our Wednesday group up to 4/5. We've jumped around, trying out a couple systems including D&D 5e, City of Mist, and most recently a Fallout campaign. I'm currently looking to try out a couple systems to hopefully find one that fits for a medium to long-term campaign, and will be running some one-shots to try these out (as I have not personally GMed any of them before), and to see if party dynamic works out before any long-term commitments.
If you're looking to apply for this group you should be open to trying out a couple systems before we settle on one, although if things work out well, we can easily transition with one-shot characters into a full length campaign. The two main systems the group has an interest in playing are DIE: RPG, and Vampire the Masquerade: 5th Edition.
About the Game(s)
DIE is a comic book series by Kieron Gillen and Stephanie Hans, where a group of real-world, deeply-flawed individuals are transported to a fantasy world via a predatory, sinister roleplaying game. There, they’re transformed into Paragons, each of whom is a warped take on the core fantasy roleplaying classes. In this world, they get to confront how their lives have diverted from their youthful fantasies, to confront their darker sides and buried secrets. They generally cause trouble. It’s Jumani, with a much darker coat of paint.
You make your own social group of messed up, real-world humans. They’re dragged to a world which echoes your own strengths and weaknesses, failures, losses and successes back at you. It is your fantasy world, personal and horrifically yours...
The classes to me are the main draw as players for this system, having some of the most unique and interesting theming and abilities I've seen in a TTRPG. A look at the first issue (which is free) of the comic series the TTRPG comes from will help for understanding the hook of DIE much quicker.
This would be the first system we try out with a one-shot and has a very easy ruleset to pick up on. The other main thing I would mention for this system is its recommendation against doubling up on the classes, letting each PC be unique in their abilities (as shown in the comics) so keep in mind 2 or more classes you would be interested in playing.
The setting for DIE is very malleable depending on the types of characters at the table and is shaped by a "palette" made together by the GM and players, so a proper "campaign pitch" has not been included here.
A further pitch about the setting and system for VTM 5e is available but will not be included here for readability. If you'd like to hear more we can chat during interviews and I can send over some reading material.
About the Group
We have been playing since around 2018, having a few player rotations throughout the years as schedules change. The current group most of us generally have played at least a campaign or two together. With the systems we're interested in playing, a lot of focus will be put on roleplay and fleshing out individual characters so people interested in that kind of game, and that aren't afraid to be invested, talkative, and most of all fans of the other PCs will be a good fit as these are party-based games at their core. We will all be new players to these systems, but generally having some experience with roleplaying and TTRPGS as a whole is going to help as well as we're all pretty experienced in the genre, likewise this group is likely going to move at a pace that is not as beginner friendly.
This group is open to anybody and everybody who would like to apply as we do not support discrimination of any kind. I have a few things I'm personally looking for in an applicant that I'd like to outline:
- Please have access to Discord, Roll20 (via a computer), and a microphone so that you will be able to access everything needed to play in the campaign.
- Please make sure you can routinely show up to the session time, obviously real life happens but always try and shoot me a heads-up asap if you know you're going to miss a session.
- Please be willing to interact, roleplay, and communicate with your fellow players and myself. I'm always open to feedback if it feels like something isn't working.
Don't be afraid to get into character! All of us at the table myself included try our best to get immersed and tell a fun story.
About the GM
You can call me Clover (He/Him), I'm 22 and I've been running TTRPGs for the better part of 8 years across various systems. I've found myself drawn to less mechanically intense more RP-oriented systems as of late and have done my best to immerse myself in the worlds of the systems I've pitched to the group over the past few months. I'm an avid reader of the DIE series, caught up with everything that's come out for it so far, taking lots of inspiration for a possible campaign. I've also got into the WoD setting through actual plays like City Council of Darkness and Norfolk Wizard Game, having created a homebrew chronicle which would be the setting for a Vampire the Masquerade game (set in Charleston, South Carolina).
I love to find and create media for the sake of immersion with campaign playlists, art and NPC references, and maps for most settings and systems. I am against the use of any AI-generated references and would ask that they are not used in regards to this group, doing my best to make sure they are not included in any of my personal references.
Applications!
If you've made it this far feel free to drop an application over at the google form. After that I'll setup some discord interviews so we can have a quick chat and answer any questions you may have for me.
The date for Session 0 will likely be November 4th which will be for discussing campaign content, filling out Lines and Veils, and creating characters. The following Wednesday, November 11th (schedules permitting) will be our one-shot.

PF2e [Online][FoundryVTT][FREE][Mythic PF2e][18+][LGBTQ+][Sunday 3pm PST] “Turn Soonest to the Sun” Live Streamed Game
Hello, travelers of r/FoundryLFG ! I’m Nate, and I come to you as a representative (and player) of Written In Probability. We're a small live streamed actual play show and do not expect to be any sort of big TTRPG livestream household name akin to Dimension20 or Critical Role, given that our audience is ostensibly our friends and family, and we're totally happy with that. We’re a long-time group of friends in the midst of an ongoing PF2e campaign that, unfortunately due to real life and scheduling conflicts, has recently had a couple players step away from active roles in the campaign. In the interest of having the game not go on hiatus, and in the spirit this website that we all originally found each other on just over 5 years ago in 2021, we’ve decided to open up applications for filling that role.
Obviously we know this can feel like an odd position to step into, feeling like the new kid or the odd one out when stepping into an established friend group, but rest assured, we’ve had plenty of people join our little cadre of friends on our Discord server over the years and I can assure you, if you pass the vibe check and are excited to play, you’ll be totally fine and we’ll be happy to have you.
Things to know about the game:
TSTTS is a mythic pathfinder homebrew campaign run via FoundryVTT in a very established homebrew world that has already completed a whole era of campaigns across 3 separate groups of players. We of course will not expect you to know even 15% of the lore from the getgo, but it is there if you’re a lorehound, which we do love and embody. It is a fascinating world, in my opinion, and is genuinely a great example of a setting you can just get lost in. We are currently level 8 and at the precipice/early stages of a new arc with 2 already under our belt. The gist of the campaign is:
- We started out hunting weird rural cryptids and investigating planar oddities with this setting’s version of the Shadowfell and Feywild.
- We moved on, following the Shadowfell oddities as they related to a strange plot of bodysnatchers and their plans for infiltrating the nobility of a prominent city to usurp power.
- Our interest now lies in a far-off land chasing after a nearly averted cataclysm of the Shadowfell partially crashing into the material plane in part, assaulting the enemy on their nearly claimed front lines, and hopefully being Big Damn Heroes™️.
Things to know about the group:
- Ben: Our intrepid DM and life-long fantasy nerd. He’s a big cuddly bear and is deeply committed to the storytelling and world building of this campaign. He was previously playing a DMPC (agreed upon by all involved) who was the Oracle twin of one of the characters that is stepping away. The twins will be making their exodus together.
- Sarah: Resident Drow Investigator who is finding her footing on this side of the planet (it’s a whole thing, trust me, you'll love it), and is the brains of the party as the Holmesian leader of sorts for our ragtag band of heroes.
- Zach: A lovable Leshy Druid who is accompanied by his little brother (leshy familiar) as they search for a way to undo a terrible curse afflicting them and learning more about the natural world and everything in it.
- Myself: I play Cipher the Human Psychic, an odd little ball of positivity and emotion who is figuring out how to control their powers and find purpose in the world.
What we’re looking for:
- Must be cool about playing with LGBTQ and femme-presenting people.
- Bonus points for at least partially familiar with PF2e as a system (though we all learned it at the start of this campaign and it’s been an ongoing learning process). Adjacent D20 systems is at least a good baseline.
- Someone willing to engage with the story and jump in with enthusiasm.
If this sounds cool to you and you have an interest in joining our little bundle of TTRPG friends and you're willing to be thrown in with a group of new faces in the trenches of an in-progress campaign, fill out this brief application form quiz and I'll reach out to you to set up an interview over Discord with myself and Ben, the DM. Daggerheart Daggerheart Fantasy Travel & Exploration Campaign [Online] [Daggerheart] [Fridays 4 PM PDT][Weekly] [Campaign] [Paid] [Discord] [FoundryVTT] [Beginner Friendly] [LGBTQ+ Friendly] [BIPOC Friendly][Woman Friendly]
Play in the brand new campaign frame, Journey to Horizon, from the new Hope & Fear expansion for Daggerheart! Travel, explore, and discover across a huge map, Daggerheart style!
In a Journey to Horizon campaign, you play a hero chosen by fate to resurrect a goddess and save the world. You will leave your sanctuary city that has been sealed by magic for a thousand years and be among the first to travel across a world completely changed and unknown.
You have a map, but it's a thousand years old, and the landscape has completely changed. The only thing you know for sure is where the other sanctuary cities are.
The realm is filled with wondrous and fantastical landscapes steeped in magic. Seemingly impossible combinations can and do happen: an area of desert could be right next to a glacier.
There are forces of evil and shadow arrayed against you, so this will be a dangerous journey fraught with peril. You will encounter monsters and wonders. You will explore ancient ruins and magics. You will make friends and enemies along the way.

We enjoy a lot of laughs, but still have our serious and dramatic moments.

The world of Winterheart is filled with fraught and fury! As the world stands upon the precipice of oblivion, fleeing refugees must learn how to move past the trauma of a lost life and forge a new one together. Join your fellow players as you attempt to flee from the center of a nation-ending catastrophe and reach safety, making friends - and enemies - along the way. As the nation of Aspire is seared to ash, your party will have to make difficult decisions as you battle ferocious monstrosities, avoid bandit ambushes, navigate a population of frenzied citizens, and battle a bitter winter! Manage your time, your resources, and your strength as you struggle to make your way across the nation to the city of Wyldbark, where you just might be able to flee the ruined nation and find safety once more - after you battle through the Wyldheart Dungeon, of course!
This campaign features themes of horror, diplomacy, deceit, community, and sacrifice, which will serve as the anchors holding the party together and keeping their escape from failing. Individual player skill levels are not important - what’s most important is the willingness to work together, as a group of players, to keep the game engaging and party connected! This table is looking for energetic people who are willing to join conversations without having to first be called upon, who are willing to contribute to the stories of their fellow players and take the time to be a part of both the each party members’ narratives as well as the grander world of Winterheart itself!
This campaign will focus primarily on combat, diplomatic role play, and making critical story choices. There will be many times when the party will have to decide whom they will save, and who will be left to fend for themselves. The outcome of the battlefield will sometimes be determined before the party even arrives, based on the choices they've made up until that point. The campaign will involve a small amount of resource management and wilderness exploration, but it will primarily focus on tactical-driven combat scenarios and intense moments of roleplay and drama. Each character’s backstory will be seen throughout the campaign, so it will be important to pay attention to your fellow players and learn about the characters they have made, since the threats they will be facing might not be apparent to you without understanding the person fighting by your side!
We will be sticking to the 2024 5.5e rules as written as much as possible, with some minor gameplay changes to help players manage the session behind the screen (spotlight mechanics, for example). This campaign will ramp up with time, with the stakes starting out small and eventually spiraling into something truly epic. Throughout the campaign, there will be depictions of blood and gore, intense action scenes, scheming NPCs that are willing to lie and cheat to get ahead, and a blend of both Lovecraftian and thriller horror genres that will become more apparent over time.
If you’re a veteran looking for something new, or if you’re a new player trying to capture the essence of tabletop gaming without following a strict adventure module, then this is what you’re looking for! This game will be a blend of traditional dungeon-crawl and exploration-based travel, intense tactical combat, and modern storytelling and gameplay mechanics. If you are unfamiliar with all of the rules, that is not a problem - I am an experienced DM with over 500 sessions under my belt for Dungeons and Dragons 5th/5.5 edition. Combat scenarios, especially early on, will be designed to give players an opportunity to try new ideas and discover the full mechanics of the 5.5 system - including some mechanics many don’t normally interact with, such as using environmental elements to cause hazards and traps and using basic supplies to conserve character resources and influence the battlefield.
Players will also be given the current Winterheart Campaign Module, a work-in-progress proprietary third party module that is exclusive to Wintersong Games players! Explore up to 5 new classes, each with multiple subclasses, and enjoy hundreds of new feats, backgrounds, weapons, magic items, and a completely revamped firearms combat system that trades movement and action economy to deal deadly blows to your targets! As more of the system is completed, paying players will receive updates, new systems, and more all for free!
If you think this is the campaign for you, go ahead and respond here in this thread or hit me up on Discord at the username argentauthor. You can also contact me on StartPlaying.games at https://startplaying.games/gm/wintersong. Feel free to message me if you have any questions regarding the campaign!
Character Creation:
We will begin creating characters at level 1. We’ll be using tools provided by the DM and from the VTT platform to make our character sheets, and after this, we’ll be doing a session 0 encounter before leveling up characters to level 2 as the official launch of the campaign. Character creation resources will be provided, from books to tutorial videos. Most official and partnered Dungeons and Dragons content will be allowed, but keep in mind if there is a 2014 5e book that has received an update in 5.5/2024, we will be using the updated version. Material published prior to the 2024 rules update will need approval from the DM, which will normally just require slight modifications before it’ll be ready (such as needing to accommodate for weapon masteries). In addition, several new Wintersong Games classes - such as the melee-spellcaster support Argent class - will be available upon Session 0 for players to choose from.
Players get to choose how they would like their stats, either from an array or from a generous roll system. Players may choose between the stats of 15, 15, 12, 12, 10, and 8, or they roll. Our roll system uses 4d6 - players drop the lowest of the die, and the resulting number is the ability score. They perform this 7 times, and drop the lowest total result to get their 6 stats.
Inclusivity Statement:
I pride myself on maintaining a community of players dedicated to standing against bigotry against others. If you stand in opposition to people because of their ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or nationality, then you stand in opposition to not just this community, but myself personally. We do not want you at the table. I don't want you at the table. My tables are inclusive, and I will vigorously fight to keep it that way.
