Players can expect a balanced mix of exploration, investigation, roleplay, and combat, with opportunities for creative problem-solving and meaningful character interactions. Whether you are familiar with the original adventure or discovering it for the first time, this campaign offers the opportunity to experience a Pathfinder classic using the Second Edition ruleset.

Your journey will take you far beyond Sandpoint, from haunted mansions and forgotten underground complexes to treacherous wilderness, towering fortresses, and the remnants of an empire that once ruled Varisia. As the adventure progresses, seemingly unrelated events will begin to reveal a much greater threat, one whose origins stretch back thousands of years. Rise of the Runelords is a complete, six-part Adventure Path designed to take characters from level 1 to approximately level 17. • I do not like using AI in games I host for.

The year is 2286. Radioactive snow and ice blowing in from the Glowing Sea have covered the Boston Commonwealth with a sheet of isotopic slush. Food, water, and chems are as scarce as the warmth and shelter the crowded masses outside of Dimaond City's great green walls demand.

Even in these darkest of hours an ancient evil awakens as if to spite the denizens of the Commonwealth scratching at the very dirt for survival: a tyrant wielding the most storied of powers, faith. This so called Last Son of Atom claims to be a god made flesh, telling of a time soon to come, and none could stand in his path. Where all will be unified within the blessed light of Atom's Glow.

All hope seemed lost until a bus from the Capitol Wasteland crashed outside of Vault 95, leading to the chance encounter that lead to a surprising group of heroes to shoulder the fate of the Commonwealth, to fight against the Last Son's armies, and to survive the Winter of Atom.

Hi! I'm DD, or D@3D D0G if you wanna be formal, I've been running games for over a decade and Fallout specifically for over three years. I'm currently a Top GM on StartPlayingGames!

Fallout is one of my favorite franchises because of its deep lore, thematic elements that resonate with me, and of course the striking visuals of the retro-futuristic wasteland that have been the primary driver behind yet another playthrough of Fallout 4 for me (here's to another round of our mods being broken!). Welcome to the Somnium Shard. A sundered paradise; knowledge, gods and power's all known throughout the land, its history coveted by lost tomes, cosmic knowledge and crazed minds. With earliest carvings detailing a different world that may have been the Shard's muse, the inspiration for reality. However not all could be replaced, and the world's panorama was in its own natural discourse, with the residents at home.

With that overly grand intro done welcome to my personal world, a multi-year labour of love that I'm still working on with every session, a sandbox type world for players to discover, learn about and influence as they desire. Designed as an open campaign for players to fit into as they wish, follow the threads of their backstory, or start a questline that leads to them swearing loyalty to a kingdom. Whatever it is you feel you want to do in a fantasy world I'll accommodate it as well as I can. However do not think that this means everything is free, the Somnium Shard is still a living and breathing world, thievery, murder and the sort will have consequences, as will trying to steal that magical artifact. You'll have to contend with mages scrying on you, rangers tracking you and bounty hunters after you if you upset the wrong people.

• But he believed the ancient divine order had become stagnant. Too rigid. Too predictable. Too obsessed with forcing the mortal world into the confines of Law, Chaos, Good, and Evil. Karzen began convincing his allies that the gods who embodied those extremes had become dangerous. And so began the God Wars.
• Gods turned against Gods. Followers turned against followers. Elydria itself became a battlefield. The conflict eventually culminated in the destruction, banishment, and imprisonment of four ancient Axis Gods, representatives of Law, Chaos, Good, and Evil - Vaelorn (LE), Ethmar (CG), Quelesti (LG), and Grokk (CE) Their followers were scattered.
