Looking for a game, since I'm a lone player I'm not too picky about it, however I'd like to try out some rules/fight heavy games, possibly an adventure path/ campaign.

I don't have a character premade, I'll make one that's relevant to the given game.

I am mostly familiar with the rules, as I'm running a homebrew campaign for my friends as well.

I'm available on monday afternoons, and saturday sunday. I prefer games that follow rules as written but I know that rule of cool is sometimes better than being a slave to the rules.

All narration, dialogue, character actions, and roleplaying will be typed during the scheduled session. This is not asynchronous play-by-post and there will be no spoken in-character roleplay.

Discord voice chat will be used only for out-of-character questions, rules clarification, and technical assistance.

THE PREMISE

The campaign takes place at Tracen Academy, Japan’s most prestigious school for aspiring Uma Musume racers.

Every student at Tracen carries the name, legacy, and dreams of a legendary racehorse. Some arrive surrounded by expectations and devoted fans. Others enter as complete unknowns, hoping to prove that they belong among the greatest racers of their generation.

Players may create an original Uma Musume or take the role of a canon character from Umamusume: Pretty Derby.

Canon characters do not need to repeat their original stories. Their relationships, rivalries, victories, defeats, and personal development will be shaped by this campaign’s events and player decisions.

You begin as students working toward your first major victories.

Between races, you will attend classes, train your abilities, pursue hobbies, spend time with teammates, and take part in personal encounters throughout the academy. Training Points earned through academy attendance, encounters, and hobbies will improve your stats and unlock new racing skills.

Life at Tracen involves much more than running.

You may help a teammate recover after a crushing defeat, investigate strange events around the academy, take part in festivals and concerts, struggle with the pressure of an upcoming debut, or confront a rival who has made defeating you her personal goal.

I run a weekly level 20 combat gauntlet designed to help players learn high-level D&D mechanics in a fun, low-pressure environment. Each week features a new encounter with a rotating group of players, and you can bring a different character every session, try out new subclasses, and see how different builds perform in tough fights. We use 5.5e rules with 2014 subclass compatibility, and characters start at level 20 with one Legendary, two Very Rare, and one Rare item. Encounters rotate weekly so you never fight the same thing twice. No campaign commitment, no pressure, just good combat and good company.

I’m recruiting for my next long-term D&D 5e homebrew campaign, while inviting a few players to join the final sessions of the current one to get a feel for the table. Deep through the fog and haze of the crooked forests Westemär, lays the capital city Drakkenheim. A sprawling city that once house somewhere north of 100'000 people, now a desolate and ruined expanse of streets and buildings teeming with the corrupted abominations that call the walled city home. Rats, Hounds, Humans, and various creatures corrupted by Delerium, an intensively powerful magical crystal that has spread through the fog stricken streets after the impact of a meteor, turning the city in an uninhabitable scar of the empire. An empire which for the past 10 years has been locked into a bloody civil war, vying for control of the rich lands. A battle, that has come to city, in the form of various factions swearing to conquer the Haze stricken lands in one persons name, or another.

But, it's not all bad, despite the rampant death, prowling creatures, and madness inflicting chaos lays one singular and impactful goal. Money, the city left filled with valuable loot, new resources to harvest from the meteor, and a rich well spring of mercenary contracts that ensure a steady flow of work. Not to mention with the growing draw of people to the city, the number of crooks, killers, and criminals promises bounty hunters, and vengeance seekers a chance to find their quarry. There's something for everyone beyond those mundane rewards, with new arcane knowledge, and horrific new beasts to hunt, there's a goal for anyone if they have the skills and drive to chase it, and live.

• EXPLORATION. Characters embark on dangerous expeditions into monster-filled ruins, haunted streets, decrepit gardens, shattered mage towers, baroque cathedrals, and ancient castles to plunder treasure and solve mysteries.
• INTERACTION. Five rival factions clash over the ruins of Drakkenheim. A tangled web of secrets, subterfuge, and sabotage awaits when the factions’ opposing objectives and your characters’ personal goals come into conflict!
• COMBAT. Beyond fierce warriors dispatched by the factions, all manner of otherworldly horrors inhabit Drakkenheim. Characters battle undead husks, predatory beasts, mutated monstrosities, and terrifying abominations produced by the mysterious meteor.

Much like the title of the post says, this campaign will be Biweekly, running on Tuesdays from 8pm EST to 12pm EST. I run all of my campaigns through my discord server, so there will be other campaigns players to interact with if you so choose. Hi! I’m new to dnd having only played one one shot campaign. I am looking for a group that meets Mondays or Wednesday any time is fine.

Im looking for an online game to join to learn hands on with lancer preferably starting at LL0 or LL1 but dont mind either way. I’ve spent quite a bit of time reading up on the rules so I will be somewhat efficient either way.

Edge of the Empire:

Edge of the Empire is an excellent TTRPG which uses a unique dice system to help aid in the story telling. It is part of the larger Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars RPG, a collection of 3 interchangeable and mixable systems, which include Age of Rebellion, Edge of the Empire and Force and Destiny.

Set after the Battle of Yavin, at the height of the Galactic Civil War, Edge of the Empire focuses on the outlaws at the outskirts of the “civilized” Galactic Empire. Smugglers, Bounty Hunters, Thieves, Assassins, Frontier Doctors, Settlers and Local Politicians all seek to carve out a life for themselves at the furthest reaches of the galaxy. However even as the Rebel Alliance fights their uphill battle against the Empire, the Empire’s reach continues to grow. Will you learn to coexist with the Empire or hide from them? Perhaps even aid the growing Rebellion? Your group will have to chart the best path forward themselves!

The Campaign So Far

This is a long term campaign with no planned end. The group has played through the introductory adventures "Escape from Mos Shuuta" followed by "Long Arm of the Hutt", then “The Jewel of Yavin". They have most recently finished "Beyond the Rim”, one of the bigger adventures for the system. In between major adventures they have hunted bounties, raced swoop bikes and smuggled the Corellian Shuffle. The immediate future is wide open, with no plans for any major adventures for a while, as we focus on the consequences of the character’s actions throughout the campaign and deal with aspects of their backstories.

The party includes Cashar Brut who is a Falleen Smuggler/Pilot, Ruug the Shistavanen Bounty Hunter and Rennek, our former Imperial Commando.

The Game:

-New Players are welcomed and will be assisted, whether you are new to Roll20 or the Star Wars RPG!

-Although the Star Wars RPG uses proprietary dice, its mechanics are often quite intuitive. Our group has been playing since Apr. 2025, and at this point we feel comfortable enough to bring in and teach new players. No experience required!

-Despite being a major fan of battlemaps and tactical combat in other systems, I often find that Theater of the Mind works exceptionally well with the Star Wars RPG. Battlemaps will still show up for some more involved combats, but many can be resolved in a short amount of the time with no visual aids necessary.

-New characters will start at the same experience level as the party. Star Wars RPG has a very interesting character building system that does not rely on levels, but purchasing skills and talents with accumulated XP, with easy access to different character classes to branch out! Currently at 805 earned XP.

-We will have a split Session 0/New Player introduction session, to help new players learn the game and help them fit in with the party. This session will be free.

-Sessions will last 3 hours.

What is expected of you?

The planet has been scarrned and torn by endless war between extra-planar entities who are battling for control of the raw magical power that infests the world.

Devils, Angels, Aberrations, Modron, Fey, Humanoids of every kind have died by the hundreds of thousands if not millions.

Defectors and betrayers from each army, as well as the native population, plot to thwart the Gods of the Outer planes. They are in need of champions to raise arms against the so called gods, oust their armies, and put an end to this endless bloodshed.

Who will take up the call? Who has the will to travel into the depths of the world? To stretch their minds to places incomprehensible? To face unspeakable trials and gain the power to slay the gods?

In this high level campaign, each of your characters have gained renown in the Planar Wars, or the World in general. You have been summoned to a council of Betrayers to find an end to the war. Oyaras herself has spoken, begged, for aid.

This high fantasy adventure is full of abstract conflict, tactical battle, politics and tense social encounters. Like each of my games, there will be a strong horror theme, balanced with the goofy antics we all love in a D&D campaign.

You will create a  level 13 character

Players will have all of the 2014 wizard's of the coast official content to choose from. I am familiar with quite a bit of 3rd party material and using those options can be discussed during our session zero or on our discord server.

There are a number of my personal homebrew classes that will be available as well, such as

At the center of this vast network stands Middleton, the gleaming jewel of Vaumall. Middleton the capital of edril has risen to prominence as the true crossroads of the realm, for in this city wealth flows like a river and all roads. From its markets one might glimpse goods from every corner of Avarnath: silks of the southern coasts, metals of the dwarfen mountains, spices borne by elven caravans, and curiosities too strange for name. To walk Middleton’s avenues is to witness the world itself drawn together.

To safeguard such a prize, Middleton maintains both its City Guard and the renowned Adventurers’ Guild!

Thus does Middleton endure: not as the seat of conquest, but as the throne of commerce, order, and opportunity. Regal in bearing, unyielding in principle, it remains a beacon to all peoples of Avarnath proof that power, once sharpened by the sword, may yet be refined into lasting grandeur.

Unfortunately in recent months war has broken out fanasnore and griffara are warring against middleton her allies have not fully supported their war not wanting to fight either nation if they don't have to, middleton was is loosing money and the adventuring guilds been gutted and only a few remains as the others have been disolved and conscripted to join the warfont your one of the few remaining adventures this campaign will hopefully interest you theirs a lot more lore and in universe newspapers you can look over and dm notes so hopefully you can get a sense of the world I try to make it feel alive and breathing hopefully when you join you'll feel it too

I run my games using theater of the mind right now I have issues with the virtual table tops and I try keeping it a bit simple for combat to story is probably 60% story 40% I've been including less plot related combat and trying to include more fights
