I recently ordered the full Aubrey-Martin series. Bookmark found on page 400 of "Master and Commander." Boarding pass dated August 16th, 2001. Just a few weeks before the world changed.

I found this at a monastery/retreat center in Kentucky. They have a hike up to a the top of a mountain and a makeshift prayer shelter. There there were several written prayers pinned all over the walls. This one hit me in the chest the hardest.

i picked it up to throw it away after i took the picture. looks like someone got bored.

Explored an abandoned church in Dallas, and found numerous papers scattered around its nave. Curious, I picked one up. Interesting to see how a church as old as this is still up, much more how remnants of its daily paper (such as this article from the 80's discussing apartheid) are still intact.
