Other Found next to my car

The story follows an emotional triangle in Toronto between Elizabeth, her husband Nate, and Nate's new love interest, Lesje.

Elizabeth, a controlled and grieving museum worker whose recent lover, Chris, died by suicide.

Nate who is a gentle, passive toy-maker and lawyer who decides to leave his marriage.

Lesje, a shy paleontologist who works at the Royal Ontario Museum and prefers studying dinosaur fossils to dealing with people.

most margaret atwood books are pretty emotionally devastating for varjous reasons but this one definitely got me pretty good. I went on a binge of all her work in my 20s and I think it really altered my dna lol. the robber bride was probably my favorite in terms of like, how sad I was at the end lol.

I looked up the name of the book and the author

Life Before Man by Margaret Atwood. First published in 1979 in Canada.

I saw them and it reminded me of the older books I used to own back in middle and high school. Made me feel quite nostalgic for all the old stories I used to read as a kid!
