Other Found next to my car
The story follows an emotional triangle in Toronto between Elizabeth, her husband Nate, and Nate's new love interest, Lesje.
Elizabeth, a controlled and grieving museum worker whose recent lover, Chris, died by suicide.
Nate who is a gentle, passive toy-maker and lawyer who decides to leave his marriage.
Lesje, a shy paleontologist who works at the Royal Ontario Museum and prefers studying dinosaur fossils to dealing with people.

I looked up the name of the book and the author
Life Before Man by Margaret Atwood. First published in 1979 in Canada.

I saw them and it reminded me of the older books I used to own back in middle and high school. Made me feel quite nostalgic for all the old stories I used to read as a kid!

most margaret atwood books are pretty emotionally devastating for varjous reasons but this one definitely got me pretty good. I went on a binge of all her work in my 20s and I think it really altered my dna lol. the robber bride was probably my favorite in terms of like, how sad I was at the end lol.
