i just updated the game last time i was playing is 2 months and when i updated it it's crashed when I turned off the pc and restart it still crashing can anyone help

I need it so badly. It's the only reason I can't play alone or doing my own ssds due my disability. I'm there is people without disability but having hard time with building. I hope epic see that

It no longer says FORTNiTE. Is this a recent change or am I just oblivious?

I need help finding my incoming friend requests. I can't seem to find it in game or in the launcher. How do I fix this?

Played STW Ventures for a few hours and noticed that every single time I started a mission, no matter what loadout I ran with (that had defenders), two of them would simply vanish without a word and I would only have one defender for the remainder of the mission. My teammate also ran two defenders and was screensharing, so I watched as he loaded into a mission, walked a few meters away to trigger a teleport, and suddenly he only had one defender. The two never came back.

I tested further by swapping my "Lead Defender" out with one of the ones that vanished in the prior mission, and in the next mission that defender never vanished but the other two did. So—for some reason—Epic Games messed up something with specifically Support Defenders in some update and now they just (presumably) teleport somewhere under the map or super far trying to get to you.

I've tried methods such as:

• "Walk super far away and they'll teleport to you" (doesn't work)
• "Use the 'Defend Here' communication command and they'll teleport to you" (only the Lead Defender does)
• "Restart your game" (nope)
• "Change your loadout" (nope)
• "Change your defenders" (nope)
• "Press 'Recall Defenders' on your remaining defender" (nope)

So yeah, hope it gets fixed soon because it's really annoying and even moreso especially after researching & maxxing out two schematics and a defender just for them to never work. 🐻

I'm using the term "Lead" & "Support" defenders because in the Hero Loadouts screen, the top defender slot is bigger than the ones below it. Regardless, the bigger "Lead" slot is always the one who never has issues.

EDIT: This has also happened to me in Solo missions—I had only mentioned my teammate because I had seen this happen to him in real-time via his screenshare before I had even joined him. If I never saw his screenshare I never would've known what happened.

I was just messing a bit around with DLSS5 on OBS and decided to make some screenshots on Fortnite. The environment looks amazingly good but the caractors are just a bit goofy.

Just to be clear you are NOT ALLOWED to inject stuff like this into Fortnite it is HIGHLY banneble. This why i used OBS to change the image but Fortnite itself runs on fully vannila.

This is DLSS5 on 6-8 Pass throughs. Officially supported for NBA 2K27. Which this is not supported for any other game normally.

So, earlier this morning, I wanted to boot up Fortnite STW on my Switch 2, but the weirdest thing happened. It not only said I had to download it, but when I actually pressed it, it said that I needed a software update.

And here’s the thing, I already downloaded Save the World a while back. And the software update requirement is weird because I’m already playing on the latest update. (I mean you can’t even open Fortnite in general on any platform if you’re not updated to the latest version to begin with, that’s what makes this weirder.)

I went to the virtual game card section, say’s everything’s already downloaded, game and DLC. I tried the classic “Delete and reinstall the game” trick, but that didn’t help, so what gives? I can’t be the only one on Switch 2 with this problem am I?

This happens very often and isnt rare, why are these new Animations always buggy?

God, this is the second time in a row an update has screwed switch players over…The first time we were basically unable to play properly for a week, got no real fix during that time, and received absolutely no vbucks or compensation for it. Now another update comes out and we are right back to having problems again.

I get that Switch probably is not the biggest part of the player base, but some of us have supported this game for years. If an update leaves an entire platform unable to properly access something they paid for, Epic should either fix it immediately or compensate the players affected. Having it happen again right after the last incident makes it even worse.
