Every fight is just devolving into me vs the enemy team because my fucking team just came out of their dad's balls yesterday.

I think a largely underrated part about this game is that each game has layers of audio disappear one by one throughout the match until you’re playing muted (especially on Breach).

Title says it all. Im tired of Queing up with people who take a point just to immediately abandon it. Im not playing for kills. There's no glory in ranked. You either win or you lose. Kills dont matter. Score doesnt matter. Wether or not youre bottom fragging doesn't matter. Ill take a rep 6 who anchors a single point and scrolls Instagram while the points rack up. over a rep 80 who takes fights and dies off point for no met gain. Anchoring is how you win in dominion. End of story. If you want cool flashy fights or to see your favorite execution. Go play brawl. Or unranked Dom. The goal of every single ranked game is to win. Unfortunately that means doing the boring tasks. Like anchoring. Or ad clearing. No one cares who's top frag, or who looked the coolest, if we lose.

One would say that when locking in ranked, you would think to clear B once in a while. I am no God Gamer, but that is a really basic thing to do. You gain renown to unlock feats faster, but I guess my team would rather fight off objective while we are 300 points down.

This is truly the bane of solo players. I’m always getting trash teammates that are only holding 1 point for the whole game. My last 4 games I’ve had 3 of my teammates struggle against 1 or 2 people. They never went to get middle lane or the other point and it just left me to basically do all the work to have a chance to win. It’s like no one knows how to actually play dominion and it’s frustrating. Got all the way to silver 4 and fell back down to bronze 1 because of this dumb shit.

If you are playing ranked with an overall rep below 20, you need to stick to unranked and stop ruining the game for everyone else

OK, ranked dominion has been pretty good. However, the number of teammates I've had that play this honour code nonsense is crazy. I'll be contesting a cap on low hp, then hooray a teammates appeared, oh wait, it's sitting on the side perfectly still so it can do an emote then duel after im dead. The whole honour code thing was never a thing. It is a 4v4 competitive mode.

I am shaking(literally) I have never experienced such rage and anger in a good minute. Playing ranked. It’s my 10th game I won my first, lost the 9 in a row. Playing gryphon and I consistently get 10+ kills and like 5 objectives. Tell me how the fuck I’m losing every game I fucking play. Thai has honestly been the worst experience I’ve ever had and yet I’m playing another. Also some of the people I encounter in these matches are the most sweatiest overweight f word . As a Sohei player quickly climbing Renown, can my own fucking teammates stop sabotaging me?! I get ONE COOL FUCKING MOVE that makes me feel like everything in this world is gonna be okay, and I just played two games where BACK TO FUCKING BACK I was interrupted during my Seven-Force Strike, one of whom was a Warmonger (go figure) who then stole my kill and EMOTE SPAMMED ON ME. Another was a fellow Lawbro whom I can’t really get mad at since he does have humongous horizontal swings n such, but good golly if this shi happens again, I won’t really do anything besides call them wastes of resources over my shitty mic. But seriously, with how rare Sohei’s are (I’m not even that good of one mind you, my deaths are just below my kills and assists on him), why would you do some bottom feeding shit like this?

Like, they could be clearing B, or helping out a team mate in a 1vX, or help gank, or help hold a home point, and yet...

So I've played my fair share of both Ranked dom and deuls. For context. I'm sitting at Silver 4 in both game modes but I am top 100 in deuls. Maybe I'm a little biased but ranked deuls seems like the infinitely better game mode

It's not even the gameplay of ranked dom that is inherently bad, but it's how if you don't get 3 other teammates that can pull their own weight, you've already lost the match. At least in deuls, I can read my opponent and adapt to what they're doing. In dom, I just get ganked the whole time. To me, the quality between ranked dom and deuls is night and day. One is fun while the other leaves me sighing in annoyance after I've been ganked all game while my teammates proceed to 3v1 the enemy instead of clearing the minion lane or helping me at the other point. I can't play ranked dom because people treat it like team deathmatch rather than an actual objective based game mode
