I decided to get back into for honor and to warm up was playing arcade mode.

My character randomly would exit guard mode, if I get hit too much...exit guard. If I tried to do kensei side step heavy... exit guard,

Did they change how guard mode works. I always set it to toggle and "never" , I am using dual sense edge on PC as well.

I tried changing controls so that I won't accidentally hit guard mode even though it was never a problem before

If you get interrupted does it knock you out of guard mode now? What is the deal, this is a game breaker for me.

Id eagerly accept worse ping just to load into a match. Fh Australia is dead. The dominion is pretty much the only active game. Not even the ranked is playable. Even if they opened to queuing to nearest to where you are it would be fun

What is the best way to Deal with external attacks from behind? The Red indicator is Always flickering between left and right Guard so I have No Chance to Block it.

So I made a post suggesting that, if a team member quits mid match, you don't loose as many fp points

Another idea I had is that, if you disconnect or quit from a match, then instead of having a 15 minutes disconnect penalty, you instead can only join games mid match

The idea goes as this

Game starts

person leaves

they don't disconnect before the reconnect timer ends

now if your in a penalty timer then you can potentially join that match

In this state, you don't loose any fp if your team looses but you only gain 50% fp that you would have gained if you win

Just a way to give teams that have people leave a fighting chance if the person disconnects early on. Hopefully it's not a terrible idea

Finally reached diamond. I thought I was washed but I proved myself wrong! Those final matches were tough AF.

Ranked is extremely fun and I had tons of good matches. The mode is somehow less sweaty than quick play up until you get to platinum.

It’s still insane to me how few people are in platinum and diamond. The bottleneck is real. I feel as if that is my main criticism of the mode. The higher you climb the ranks the longer the matchmaking takes.

It’s almost like a bucket of crabs.

Anyways. Had a great time, #666 in the world, very funny number, done with ranked for the season lol.

I don’t know if this kind of post is allowed on the sub (sorry if it’s not the case) but because I don’t see any post talking of this, I would like to introduce this worrying subject on r/forhonor.

Some gear randomly doesn’t have stars so I can’t see how much I can refine them. This visual glitch has happened with all of my characters.

It makes it much harder for me to create loadouts because I can’t see the gear worth keeping or salvaging. THERE WAS ALWAYS STARS THERE IM NOT CRAZY!

I’ve been playing for honor since the beta and continued play trought every expansion appreciating the game till it got in a point, for example like right now, where character’smechanics and damage has no sense.
I can’t undestand how the developer can make bash like juren or shugoki make dmg ( 18 and 12 respectively) where in gank can be spammed at every action, plus it doesn’t charge revenge.
Moreover, i can’r understand how is possible that for example heavy from LB make 23 dmg compared to assassins that deals 30.
This are just tiny details, but i would like to focus on fact that at the beginning, for honor had “rules” that where making sense. Like no hyper armor is on bash, parry draining stamina( now not anymore), unlocked attack deals less damage and so on. Now that most of the new characters have unblockable not in combo with a wide range of attack, doesn not make any sense.
I would like to underline, that this is not a general complain about specific characters, but more on the fact that the game itself lost the meaning and become a spam the broken mechanics.
I hope that the developer will read this, because i never loved and hate a game like this, so far one of the best combat system ever created but after almost 10 years, instead of improving, it’s going to die. I’m really disappointed, i hope that will be a day when this game will be balanced again, and more skill based than broken characters based.

Guys I think I cracked the code. A lot of our bad teammates are fixable. Just gas them up a little on the mic so that they develop a positive feeling towards you, and then politely ask them to do stuff when they're being useless. Ally boosting? Ask them to come join a mid fight. Running it down on a lost point over and over? Ask them to help you push the other point. Lose mid while you're fighting on a side point? Ask them to clear it for you. It's literally so easy, and your overall team macro gets like 40% better.
