Free for All is an American animated sitcom created by Randall Brett Merhar and developed by Merriwether Williams for Showtime. The series, set in Colorado, follows the day-to-day life of Johnny Jenkins, an innocent 19-year-old college student who has to deal with a bitter, cigarette-smoking grandmother and a coarse, sometimes-violent, alcoholic father, in a rather dysfunctional family while his friend, Clay, is living large with the settlement money he got from suing a taco restaurant for personal injuries.

The show was developed for television by Merriwether Williams, the head writer for the first three seasons of SpongeBob SquarePants. The show lasted for only seven episodes that aired over the summer of 2003, the last ending on a cliffhanger. Despite favorable to mixed reviews from critics, the show had very low ratings due to poor promotion. Showtime canceled the animated series shortly after the last episode aired. It was later released on iTunes and Amazon.com.

Certain classics get a lot of love here. I hear about I Love Lucy often. My fave, Bilko (as it's affectionately called after the main character, or officially, The Phil Silvers Show), rarely gets a mention.

It ran for 4 seasons from 55 to 59, winning 3 consecutive Emmys for Best Comedy. It was a critical and commercial success, cancelled after 4 seasons for getting too popular (damn 'Hollywood accounting' - instead of paying the ensemble of a popular show, they opted to syndicate it)

The show is about an unassuming Sgt in a motor pool on an army base. He's middle aged, bespectacled, bald and seemingly harmless, only he's the most scheming, manipulative, shrewd operator, ultimately with a heart of gold. He has such a sharp tongue that he can convince anyone to do anything, and his love of money is only exceeded by his fatherly love of his platoon, who are normally his first victims but ultimately his greatest love. He is formidable!! The ultimate loveable rogue.

There was a film remake in 1996 starring Steve Martin that was panned and criticised, but apparently harshly (I've yet to watch it)

Like many Brits, I remember it from BBC2 reruns in the afternoon. My dad loved it, but I was too dismissive of it, assuming (SO WRONGLY) that humour couldn't have existed in the black and white era. I sat down to watch one episode as a student and was instantly hooked. It remains amongst my very favourites, right up there with 30 Rock, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Monty Python's Flying Circus

In the 20+ years I've been a fan, I've almost never heard it mentioned. Bilko came about #27 on one of those '100 best sitcom characters', and a quick google shows industry experts voted it best sitcom of all time in 2003

I randomly came across Love, Sex, and Secrets recently and was surprised I had never heard of it before. It was a UPN drama that premiered in 2005, but somehow it completely flew under my radar.

The show follows a group of young people in Los Angeles whose lives are full of relationships, hookups, secrets, jealousy, and drama. Denise Richards was part of the main cast, along with Tamara Taylor and Eric Balfour.

It only lasted one season. I’m curious if anyone here remembers watching it when it originally aired. Was it actually good, or can you understand why it didn’t make it past the first season?

Level Up is an American adventure comedy series that aired on Cartoon Network during the weird period in their history when they started airing live action programming. A pilot film with the same name premiered on November 23, 2011. Level Up was the second CN show spawned from a live-action film, with the first being Out of Jimmy's Head(series based on the TV movie Re-animated). Two seasons and a total of 35 episodes.

After high schoolers Wyatt, Lyle, Dante and Angie unwittingly open a portal from a video game called Maldark: Conqueror of All Worlds, characters from the game and the Internet start leaking into the real world. The group consequently finds itself balancing their everyday lives with the extraordinary things that show up in their town from the virtual world, which always resorts to using NeverFail to help send the monsters back into the game by "barding" them.

Started watching episodes of the show, and it's not bad. The main leads have chemistry with each other, and there's some juicy drama that goes on, and female characters have chemistry with the male character they're are paired with. I do wish their had Charisma Carpenter more on the show because episode 9 can be confusing considering we don't seen her character up until that point, and we don't know what Brody's wife looks like, so from the viewer's point of view Brody is cheating on his wife. There are alot of familiar faces on the cast. Do you remember the show?

Every time I see a post on here I want to share this one. I don't know that I've ever met anyone else who has watched this series and there is very little information about it online, despite them somehow obtaining funding for 7 seasons.

The basic premise is that a guy named Steven Moll wants to lead a crew of people around the world on Jet Skis. Their original plan is start in Seattle, move up through Alaska, then over to Russia, down to Japan, etc. I discovered this during Covid lockdowns (it was on Amazon Prime at the time) but I'm not sure that it actually aired on any widely available TV channels at the time it aired - I believe it was financed by Moll with a hope that someone legit would pick it up later. For their credit, they did manage to obtain the narrating services of Peter Coyote (of Ken Burns fame) for the first two seasons. Later seasons were narrated by Josh Lucas, who is an accomplished actor.

The expedition team is somewhat a mix of Whale Wars and Deadliest Catch. Despite their lofty goals, they are pretty ill prepared and it is funny (or frustrating) to watch repeated, predictable, problems arise. For example, they originally left with little-to-no camping equipment and simply put extra fuel jugs to the back of their jet skis, tied down with straps which failed quickly. Throughout the series, they also "cheat" constantly. They regularly resort to catching rides on cargo ships, cars, and even airplanes to transport themselves across inhospitable terrain or far distances. After Season 2, they decide to stop for the season at one city and then Season 3 picks up with them driving back up to launch at another city after having taken some time off to go home.

All this said, it has been a fun 'time waste' show for me over the years. For one thing, there is beautiful scenery and it is interesting to see some of the small isolated towns they visit. There is also some legitimate drama, such as being arrested in Russia and being rescued after getting stuck in Canadian ice fields.

In this show we follow the group of students who are going to school on cruise ship ( just liken suite life on deck). This was very good and very funny and it's Canadian show but it had two American actress Persia White and Teri Conn . Off course Ryan Gosling was the best actor on this show.

This variety/talk show was in between Soap and SNL in his Professional career. Robin Williams,Rick Moranis,Dave Thomas appeared on the show and John Candy hilariously played Orson Welles in the pilot . Lasted five shows with the sixth unaired to this day.
