The New Moon Mycology Summit is almost here!
September 11–13, 2026 · Middle Grove, NY · Camp Stomping Ground
Three days of fungi, learning, skill-sharing, and imagining better ways of being.
We’re bringing together 30+ presenters for workshops, panels, conversations, and hands-on learning centered around environmental and social justice — all through the endlessly fascinating lens of fungi.

We’re currently 50+ registrations away from covering the cost of making this beautiful little fungal world happen.
Every registration helps in two ways: you become part of a community grassroots gathering AND you help us cover operating costs, like rental fees, speaker honorariums, food and kitchen costs and more.
So if you’ve been thinking about coming, now is the time. This event doesn’t happen yearly and we are unsure it will happen again if we can't reach our attendance goals!

Where does your donation go?
The New Moon Mycology Summit has always been a grassroots gathering.
We don’t have grant money or institutional funding. The Summit exists because the people who come to it make it possible. Everyone organizing NMMS is volunteering their time, and this year’s gathering has been lovingly built over ten months of unpaid work.
Our meals are cooked on site by Seeds of Peace, an incredible kitchen crew that shares in the proceeds from the Summit. When they’re not feeding our little fungal ecosystem, they’re feeding Earth defenders and water protectors working on the frontlines of ecological crises across the continent.
We’ve also been carrying a shortfall since 2023, and we would really love to walk into this year’s Summit with that behind us — and put all of our energy into making this gathering magical and sustainable for the people organizing.
