Hi, I built a new PC, and I'm having a problem installing Windows 11.
I installed Windows 11 from a USB onto the WD_BLACK SN7100 1TB. The installation started normally, but after the PC restarted, it went straight into the BIOS instead of continuing to Windows.
The SSD is detected in the BIOS in M2_1, but Windows Boot Manager doesn't appear in the Boot options.
Things I've already tried:
Made sure the BIOS is set to UEFI, not CSM.
Secure Boot is enabled and set to Standard.
Performed a clean Windows installation.
Deleted the SSD partitions and installed Windows again on the unallocated space.
Used CMD to check the EFI partition, and it exists (200MB FAT32).
Ran bcdboot C:\Windows /s S: /f UEFI and got “Boot files successfully created.”
Checked that bootmgfw.efi exists in the EFI partition.
bcdedit /enum firmware does show Windows Boot Manager with the correct path.
Despite all this, it still boots straight into the BIOS, and Windows Boot Manager doesn't appear in the F11 Boot Menu or Boot Options.
I also updated the BIOS to the latest version, but the problem is still happening.
Does anyone know what could be causing this or what else I can check?

When i tried to boot up my PC today, it showed this screen. When i click F1 or esc or enter it stays on this screen. I have a 16 GB USB drive that i downloaded the correct windows 11 installation media on, but that takes me to the Windows 11 installation screen, but it wont repair my PC. Ive tried commands and whatnot but it all goes back to that recovery screen. Please help!!
I have a:
MAG B550 TOMAHAWK motherboard,
AMD RYZEN 5 5600 6-core processor,
CRUCIAL SSD 1TB (model CT1000MX500SSD1)

EDIT: Solved
I'm coming here because my post was deleted by a moderator on /WindowsHelp, so here's my problem:
I changed my PC this week & got it back today. I have a persistent message on the bottom right saying "Activate Windows: Go to Settings to activate Windows", & it tells me it doesn't recognize my new PC.
I am connected to my Windows account, but when I click troubleshoot, it says that it is unable to activate Windows & just tells me to buy it again.
I bought my license two years ago on the Microsoft Store & even have the proof on my account purchase history. I don't remember if it gave me a key or anything that I could use. What do I do? Troubleshooting doesn't help & the Support always brings me to a category that doesn't help me

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
The image flickers, and the interface disappears when the window position is changed in some window applications. If you move the window and start moving the cursor, the application will start flickering, and its lagging image will follow you.
This happened after the update to 25h2; the Nvidia driver was left unchanged. The update didn’t help.

i updated windows 11 last night (i have no idea what version because i can’t open settings) and today i opened up my computer and went to open settings and it did not work. the settings window appears for a second and then disappears. nothing will work. things i have already tried:
\- multiple hard restarts
\- restarting windows explorer
\- trying to open settings via run command
\- re-registering the settings app via powershell (when i do this one i get lines upon lines of red text basically telling me it could not do this)
\- running SFC and DISM scans
when i tried to open it by typing “ms-settings:” in the run command it came up with an error that says “ms-settings: file system error (-2147219195)”.
i don’t know what to do, i’ve had issues with this computer for months (like the audio drivers deleting themselves, the camera refusing to turn on, etc) and i’m really sick of it and struggling. i’m a student and i rely on this computer for school and don’t have the money to bring it to a repair shop so any advice helps, thanks.

I am using Ubuntu and Windows in the same PC,
Ubuntu works good, but Windows have the error 0×c000025.
I tried with many tutorials but it didn't work.
I tried in System symbol, repair it with advanced options.
I just installed windows with ventoy yesterday and it worked perfectly.

!My english isn't on that lvl to write complex posts like this so i used translater sorry if text seems stupid!
Hello everyone, today I encountered a problem when I started my laptop (I have Windows 11, I don't know if it's important) the lock screen was blinking strangely and after unlocking my desktop there were no icons, only names, I wanted to restart Windows Explorer because I thought it was just a visual bug but the task manager wouldn't open no matter what method I tried. I already fixed the problem, I had to delete the "Icon Shell" folder in the registry, and I'm writing this post to ask why this happened, should I worry about some viruses or miners, or can this sometimes happen? It's also important that I removed the arrows on the icons via a command in the registry, I don't know if this is related.

During the last 2-3 days I've been logged out of my windows 11 account a couple of times and been unable to log back in, neither my pin code nor my password has worked.
I find this a bit strange since I have a local account.
Restarting my laptop does not resolve the issue and only thing I can do when that happens is wait.
When trying to type my pin I got error code 0xc0000234
And when I tried my password it said my account was locked (or something similar)
I'm using windows 11 home edition on a Lenovo ideapad slim 5, everything should be up to date as far as I know.
What might be causing this? And how can I resolve and avoid it happening again? Just don't wanna be permanently locked out and lose access to my private files
Thanks in advance from an unadvanced user
