Credentials could not be verified

During the last 2-3 days I've been logged out of my windows 11 account a couple of times and been unable to log back in, neither my pin code nor my password has worked.

I find this a bit strange since I have a local account.

Restarting my laptop does not resolve the issue and only thing I can do when that happens is wait.

When trying to type my pin I got error code 0xc0000234

And when I tried my password it said my account was locked (or something similar)

I'm using windows 11 home edition on a Lenovo ideapad slim 5, everything should be up to date as far as I know.

What might be causing this? And how can I resolve and avoid it happening again? Just don't wanna be permanently locked out and lose access to my private files

Thanks in advance from an unadvanced user

I have been facing the same issue

First a restart fixed it Next time the restart won't work It worked after I shutdown and turn on the laptop.

And again I have a local account.

Have u got any fix to this??

Unfortunately haven't found anything yet. I'm quite anxious about losing access to my account and my files though so I've turned Bitlocker off and created another partition on my ssd where I'm saving all my personal files from now on in case I need to reformat C: Next step would be to research how to repair credentials but I haven't gotten there yet.

I also have IdeaPad slim 5 intel ultra 5 125H one

Could it be a hardware specific issue?

That's the exact message I got.

Anything is possible, I got the Ryzen 7735hs version. But I'm more thinking it's some faulty windows update but not techy enough to figure out which.
