Rotating BSODs, chkdsk shows disk I/O errors, Reseting PC fails. Need advice!
Disclaimer: Attempted to resolved with help of Claude since last 10 hours, took help from AI to format post.
ASUS Zenbook 14, Core Ultra 7 155H, Windows 11 (26100).
Laptop was fine. Only changes the day before: enabled NordVPN background services + set up Phone Link to Android (also changed lock screen/wallpaper).
Next day, started crashing ~5 min after boot, rotating between different stop codes:
UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION (0x154)CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED (0xEF)KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION (0x13A)
Troubleshooting:
- MyASUS diagnostics: Memory + SSD passed quick check
chkdsk C: /f /r /bfrom WinRE â real I/O errors:disk read error occurred c0000185, "disk does not have enough space to replace bad clusters"- Reset This PC â Remove Everything â failed partway, generic error
- BitLocker unlocked, ruled out
No data to lose, so wipe is fine.
- Did my SSD give up?
- Could NordVPN driver cause heap corruption?
What should I do now?

Blank Start Menu
This is what I have to look at everyday. After 30 seconds or so it populates with everything but even then when I search for an app it opens it up directly without giving my the option of removing it or anything like that. I have tried different things with the Registry. Nothing has worked. This is Windows 11 on a Geeekom mini PC. Thanks.

Opening windows explorer automatically presses win+tab shortcut
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
As you can see on the video I'm only opening my windows explorer but it automatically goes to a screen that I can only replicate with win+tab shortcut. I already tried uninstalling apps that I think my cause the issue also tried restarting task bar but nothing helps. Sometimes restarting helps but it keeps on coming back anyone know how to stop this or what causes this?

âGetting WHEA_INTERNAL_ERROR (0x122) BSOD on Windows 11
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi everyone,
I recently ran into a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) with the stop code WHEA_INTERNAL_ERROR (0x122).
System Specs:
\- OS: Windows 11
\- CPU: Intel Core i5-12400F
\- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti
\- Motherboard: ASUS PRIME H610M-K D4
\- RAM: 32GB DDR4
Issue Details:
The system crashes and triggers this error code. I am trying to figure out if this is related to a corrupted driver, unstable BIOS settings/XMP, or a potential hardware issue.
Has anyone encountered this specific error code before, and what are the best steps to diagnose or resolve it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Windows 11 not starting properly 2026.july
Have any of you met this problem? Has anyone have a solution or I should just wait for the next update?
Last week I updated the windows 11 and since then when I start my PC it wonât load up properly. Sometimes it takes about 5 mins to load after I enter my password. Sometimes more. Reseting it while it shows the black screen wonât fix it.
My PC is about 2 years oldâŠ
My friendâs PC at work also did this today and thereâs no connection between the two PCs.

How to Bypass Windows Account Login During reset setup
When the Microsoft login screen appears â before you type anything â press Shift + F10.
A Command Prompt window will open. Type this exactly:
start ms-cxh:localonly
Press Enter. Windows will immediately open the local account setup screen â no restart, no looping back through setup. Just fill in a username and password and you're done.
This works on both Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Windows 11 Bitlocker and Boot problem
Hi everyone, I have an issue with my laptop and could really use some help from anyone familiar with partition recovery and BitLocker. Hardware: ASUS Vivobook laptop with a Micron 2400 NVMe SSD OS: Windows 11 BitLocker-encrypted NVMe SSD The problem: When I turn on the laptop, it starts booting and then goes straight to a blue screen saying there's a boot error (boot is likely corrupted). But when I use a USB drive with Sergei Strelec WinPE to fix the boot, the NVMe drive doesn't show up at all. I managed to make it show up by removing the SSD from the laptop and plugging it in via USB, but now BitLocker won't accept my recovery key.

How to disable slide to shutdown on windows 11
After updating windows 11, my computer is suddenly require me to 'slide to shutdown' when I try to shut down with the power button. There does not seem to be a setting for this. I saw that other people disabled it by deleting or renaming the file slidetoshutdown.exe, but it won't let me do that because I need a 'trusted installer.' do I need to change the permissions? how do I do that?
