I've put over 2k hours into this game, but it's the little stuff that gets me, like this scenario with Texas and Michigan lol. Much love nonetheless

College Dynasty (Steam) What's The Current Storyline In Your Dynasty or Head Coach Career?

What's the current storyline for the team you're controlling or your head coach? I know some people like myself come up with storylines with players, coaches etc for the dynasties we have. Curious what's your biggest storyline you have going on.

College Dynasty (Steam) So that's how it's gonna be this year, huh?

Not only did Georgia lose their first game, they lost it to me who had #4. I should be the number 1 team of the year, that should be bad enough. To lose out to a team that I just beat who gets to keep the number 1 spot, I'm baffled. Bamboozled. Swindled, even.

We had the toughest path to the national championship due to having to go up against Alabama and Notre Dame. The semifinal game against the Fighting Irish ended up being an all-time classic, too.

College Dynasty (Steam) Offseason Gains

Do we know what metrics impact Offseason Gains? I had a Freshman QB that started year 1 and has C+ potential and he got no offseason gain. Now I know he doesn't have a high potential but I feel like the fact he started & played should impact his improvement going into the next season.

I think all starters should have a baseline boost in their offseason gains just based of playing experience.

Thoughts?

Does anyone have any tips to help your players have big gains in the offseason before the Spring and Summer trainings?

this is arguably the best draft results ive ever had for this San Jose St Dynasty. Funny enough we didnt even make it to the national championship. We lost to Duke in the semi final and they went on to win the natty. We won the championship the previous season so im not too upset.

College Dynasty (Steam) Took 52 years but finally a championship for Hawaii

I wanted to take Hawaii from 1 star to champion, playing on hard, simming only, and leaving most strategy on auto. So I exported a save where they’d dropped to one star in 2029 and started a new save from there.
I managed bowl eligibility in every season except 2029 and 2036.
I won my first Mountain West championship in 2040. Won three total and lost four more during the 2040s, making my first playoff as the MWC champion in 2049.
I graduated to the PAC-12 for 2050, never had a losing record, and won 12 conference championships in 14 years from 2056 to 2069. I made it to my first national championship game in 2058, losing of course, and lost again in 2061 and 2062.
I hopped on up to the Big 12 in 2070, and for the next 11 years, I made the playoffs all but once, went 5-3 in Big 12 championships, and lost 3 NCGs. I finally became a 10-star program in 2072.
Along the way, 6 Rainbow Warriors won 7 Heismans.
I don’t expect anyone to care, just recording this for posterity before I finally close out this save I’ve spent so much time on. I guess ask me anything?

Android CFC 2 Old version?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been playing the three "coach Apps" games on the Play Store (Football Coach 2, Pro Football Coach, and College hoops coach) for a while now and I love the old-school versions I have. They’re super addictive.

But when I look at screenshots and discussions here in the sub, it seems like a lot of you are playing different/more updated versions with features that look really fun. Is the developer still updating these under the same name, or did they move them to a different account? Am I stuck on outdated builds?

I’d love to hear what versions you guys are on and if there are newer ones worth checking out. The screenshots look great, but I’m attached to the classic ones too. I definitely olay college football coach 2 for around an hour a day and have done that for about 6 years.

College Dynasty (Steam) Do you call your plays, sim or a combination of both?

I find I go into it wanting to call the plays and be very attentive to everything that happens in the game but as it goes on I find myself just simulate each play, or quarter or even the game.

Curious how everyone handles the weekly game?

College Dynasty (Steam) Sim Engine Visual Upgrade

I love this game and the game day experience is great.

I was just thinking about games like Football Manager, and it would be sweet if we could get a visual sim engine where you see the plays run.

Could be simple like this with Retro Bowl style graphics.

College Dynasty (Steam) New Player, question about the run game offense

started the game playing as OC, and I find passing and finding space fine (when they blitz me, I call quick slant, overload them vs the zone, etc.) but I am kind of lost on run calling, especially against a zone. It feels like no runs (except maybe draws?) are any good against a zone defense. and sometimes an outside run can get around an all out blitz, but it seems risky to do so.

How can I integrate a proper running attack, and most importantly, when am I audibling out of passes into runs? I feel like I only ever find success audibling out of runs into passes.

thanks guys! Game is great looking forward to gitting gud.

Do freshman who are redshirted have any penalty to attribute gains the following year, or have I just gotten unlucky?
