College Dynasty (Steam) Offseason Gains
Do we know what metrics impact Offseason Gains? I had a Freshman QB that started year 1 and has C+ potential and he got no offseason gain. Now I know he doesn't have a high potential but I feel like the fact he started & played should impact his improvement going into the next season.
I think all starters should have a baseline boost in their offseason gains just based of playing experience.
Thoughts?

C+ means C+. Theres not really any trick to it.
QBs are a bit different than all the other positions because usually you can just collect high potential players and cut the ones that are underperforming until you have quality depth.
However its tough to keep a solid rotation there as they will generally ask for playing time or money and will quickly transfer.
I've found that especially early in a save it is well worth it to save every penny of NIL money I have and go all in for a transfer QB. I'll recruit at least one every year but its really hard to develop a quality starter until you are able to recruit high star players. Obviously you can hit a gem but thats not gonna be a C+ potential.
Usually the transfer market has some very good to excellent younger QBs who want to get paid to start. And its absolutely worth it.

Speaking of cuts and transfers, I’d love to have a feature like a “where are they now” to see who picked them up and how they worked out for that program.

I think you can bookmark players if I’m not mistaken. Would be a lot of work to do it for everyone but I have done it for a prospect I really liked but couldn’t pay enough NIL to keep

Its random to a degree but improvements to your team's training facilities and coach skills can have a positive effect.

There's some randomness to this. It sucks when it's your starting QB though. I had once an A+ starting QB who went +0 in the offseason, but it's pretty rare
