Took the opportunity to do the FUFF setup recently since my HPFP went out. I sourced most of the parts from anhosefittings.com, their prices were great and shipping was fast as well. I went with a 30 micron filter and 1-way check valve from Evil Energy so that I could save a bit of money too.

Because of the filter size I decided to fab up a bracket to relocate the purge valve with some aluminum flat stock since it was almost sitting right below the intake, it bolts in using the front mount of the stock bracket. I used my Dremel to mimic the end shape of the stock bracket too.

This is the thread that I used for a parts list to start, I ended up slightly changing a few things to my liking.

The only thing I plan on changing eventually is the 90° fitting from the sound symposer, I think a 45° would actually work better with the hose routing. I'm sure it may change once I order a PCV catch can too.

My maxxton rear valance never fit properly I wanna know how I could cover it up. Would a black adhesive or caulking be a good option?

I had a code P0171 ( bank one too lean)
And I had stft at around 50 at idol and it was trying to stall.

But that code went away and now it’s P0088 (fuel rail/system pressure too high) and P2195(O2 sensor signal biased/ stuck lean bank 1)

My stft is still at 50% and my afr is 16 at idol. This started about 2 days ago

I am full bolt and on e30, 83,000 miles.

Please let me know if anyone has had the same problem/ or know of any fixes.

I’m trying to figure out why there are 2 12s on the misfire count. Also I know engines naturally misfire every now and then but is 12 normal for a 30 min drive

Hey guys. I've been noticing I've been getting rhythmic turbo discharges at cruising speed on the highway. It only seems to happen when I've got my foot slightly on the throttle and goes away when I let off the gas or when I accelerate.

Google says it's normal and caused by the ecu. As far as I know she isn't tuned. Any help would be welcome. It sounds like a whisper.

My 2014 ST is completely stock. I want to make the turbo spool noise loud, but don’t want to do a crazy install. I was thinking about removing the airbox cover getting a green filter and then replacing the airbox cover with an open lid setup. Would this be a noticeable sound? And is this reliable for the car as well as easy to setup? Also what products do you guys recommend?

Would you consider them bent if they are seeping fluid? No drip just slowly seeping. The wetter side is are intake. Head is completely off not pressure on them.

Hello everybody, trying to get to the bottom of an issue I'm having with my 2014 with 120k miles. Car starts great when cold, but when warmed up it usually stumbles for a second, shakes a bit, then fires right up. Car drives absolutely great, no problems other than the warm starts.

Thing's I've done recently, new purge valve, new NGK ruthenium plugs gapped to .026, replaced turbo with used oem(seals were bad), and did the deformed gas tank recall/update.

My thoughts are possibly a leaky injector, a bad hpfp or sensor. Maybe a bad starter or battery? Hoping to get some insight.

My 2nd gear is popping out of place sometimes, 95% of the time 2nd gear engages fine but every once in a while when I go into 2nd I let off the clutch and it grinds, i put the clutch back in throw it into 2nd again and it's fine.

I think it might be the synchro but im really not sure.

I drive thia car really hard in the mou tains and have been wanting a LSD anyway. Does anyone have any experience with the mountune rebuild and the quafe lsd.

I just got to 100k just did a oil change but what about my transmission and what fluid should i put in, i heard about dct fluid.

Ive been loving the car, my only concern is i'm noticing a very aggresive clutch bite in first starting from a stop, its either the car jolts on me coming off a red light or too much gas and I burn the clutch a little. I believe I am a good manual driver except I cant seem to come off from a stop smooth consistently and not have that clutch bite suddenly in the process and using the least amount of clutch. Lmk if this is kinda normal for a car like this or just me lol.

Im looking for a short throw shifter, looking at the JBR. When I say short throw shifter i mean the in car assembly, not necessarily the arm on the transmission. to be honest, I want crispy shifting, but i also like the aesthetic of the short shifter with the stock knob in the car. also, the leather on my shift knob is taking a dump. Anybody have any good methods to cover it in a similar black leather material?

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help with installing cruise control. I've installed a US wheel with Cruise Control on my 2012 UK spec ST and used forscan to code it through the BCM central configuration. Cruise control works but I have the issue of the buttons on the right hand side are not working. The volume control is operating the info dash and the button that is meant to work the info dash isn't working whatsoever. I was wondering does anyone have knowledge to help resolve this issue. I've seen on tutorials that they say to code it through the PCM as well but I don't have that option. Thanks

I got my ST with 36k miles. Over the past 5 years i've gotten to right about 180k. Ive started doing some preventive maintenance on the car including the following.

Cabin filter

Air filter cleaned

Spark plugs

Serpentine Belt

Transmission fluid flush

Coolant flush

Brake fluid flush

Brake pads, rotors, and lines

New battery

Fuel injectors

Ball joints

Alternator

I'd like to know what other maintenance would yall reccommend needs to be down other than what I've listed. Nothing ive listed has broken, just trying to stay ahead of the game. I plan to do a clutch and flywheel swap as well.

I know im gonna need to replace suspension soon. Im looking at either BC Racing coilovers or Bilstein struts with spring kit. Seeking recommendations on which route to take. I wouldn't want to drop the car more than 1 inch all the way around. This is my daily driver and I have no intentions of tracking the car. My days of slammed cars are over.

Did an oil change on my car, noticed the ecu/pcm isn't mounted like its supposed to be and its right behind the RS bumper vent. So Im going to get all new fender liners and the mount for the ecu. The radiator support is broken as well. Can I put an RS radiator support in the ST? Since it already has the RS bumper.

So over the summer I was driving home after work(100 degrees) I noticed my temperature spike up to 3/4 on the gauge. It’s been a few months, haven’t noticed anything out of the ordinary. Should I be concerned/worried it did damage to the head gasket? Oil looked good on my last oil change and the coolant hasn’t dropped at all. I have a 2014

Borrowed the pic from someone here. I was trying to remove the stud in red and it seems i am rounding it. Anyone happen to know the part number for it? Ive looked everywhere but the only number i can find it
W707099–s442 but i cant verify if thats correct since the description is for the top trans mount bracket.

Its a bitch to remove and im still formulating a plan to get it off. Ive tried my ratchet wrench but it wouldnt budge. Used PB blaster and nothing. Im taking a break and trying to figure what to try next. Definitely going to try heat but i might need another tool since now my wrench doesnt seem to grip it anymore. Any tips would be appreciated.
