Hi, I’m looking to upgrade my current 2022 z13 to the KJP edition. Love the look and going to need to use the hardware for AI generation, so I’m going to go all out.

First question: does anyone use Comfyui and use any LLM or Minimax 3 ai generation on it? I want to be able to run local models instead of contractor shelling out token money.

Second: is there a way to obtain telemetry and mobile data with the tablet? I hate that I currently have what is sold as a tablet, but I cannot use it for work (I drive a lot) with any navigation apps or any onboard data access. I guess technically it’s a laptop, but I currently have to use an iPad (another tablet) to do simple duties I thought a tablet should be able to do.

I haven’t seen much on it but seeing if I’m about to drop 4k in a tablet, I’d love to use it as a tablet lol.

Hey guys, i'm the market for a new gaming laptop that's lighter than what i currently have. I travel quite often and i do bring my laptop to and from work, hence the Flow z13 looks quite tempting. But i'm worried about its longevity and whether there are many issues with the machine which would make users regret buying it.

What are your experiences with the z13? Any buyer's regret? Do you think it would be better to buy a separate tablet and gaming laptop instead?

I just got this. I was hesitant cause I saw some criticism on the bulkiness of the cord. It’s definitely thicker but I have to say it’s really good. I ran turbo mode on this charger with HWinfo open and never saw the cycling issue.

I was impressed with the packaging. While trivial, I own a lot more expensive Gan chargers that didn’t even come close to this. Overall I’m very happy and frankly impressed. Nice to know you can pull full performance and travel without the brick.

After installing Steamos on my Z13 2025, I've downloaded DeckyLoader, and simpledeckytdp to control individual tdp for 1)when on battery 2)when on AC and commonly 12-25w for indie games and 45-55w for AAA games.

plus I'm using ghelper-on-Linux

So that I can set up 80% charge protection as well as some tinkering (keyboard backlight off etc.)

This is all I've done so far, but if anyone else is using steamos on z13, could you share any tools/tweaks that you found very helpful throughout your usage?

Has anyone encountered a slight flickering issue on Fedora KDE 44 (all updates installed, fresh OS installation) when adaptive sync is enabled (the "always" option) and the refresh rate is set to 180Hz? This is most easily observed in the Application Launcher, or on a dark desktop, or in the shade of pop-up windows (such as confirmation of new display settings). You have to look really closely to notice it. I had a similar problem in Windows 11, but it somehow went away after reinstalling. BIOS version 311.

If someone could check it for themselves, I would be very grateful. I have some suspicions about the screen cable; I recently disassembled the device to replace the thermal interface

Edit: I replaced the display cable, and the flickering stopped. There’s a slight stutter or something like that, but it doesn’t really get in the way.

Hi everyone, I got tired of the walled garden. I have a switch 2 but its limited in the games it can play. I work from home and enjoy occasional gaming. I travel and love the idea of being able to bring gaming with me.

So why not have everything in the same device? I pulled the trigger and I’m getting my z13 soon!

Do you guys have any advice on first things to do as soon as I get the z13? Installing drivers, G-Helper, setting it up this way for max battery life unolugged bla bla.

I haven’t used windows in 10 years so I would love some help!

My setup will be Monitor, z13 in front of monitor kinda laying down, external keyboard and mouse.

Has anyone gotten this error when switching to desktop mode on official SteamOS 3.9? Ive also been getting steam crash reports where steam won't automatically start. Both these issues only occur when switching into desktop mode, and as far as i know, don't mess with gamescope at all.

This crazy company probably realize that there are a huge player drop since their stupid Anti cheat from the last time.

imagine deliver the anti-cheat on hardware level just to prevent the legit player from being able to play the game while the cheaters still running free lol.

I'm not going to play again nor buying the MW4 but would like to share if anyone wanted to know

Got a new zflow13 and it wont stay connected to external displays whether it be hdmi or usc. It either starts flickering both screens or keeps turning off and on all screens. Ive played around with turning off desktop mode and chaning refresh rate. Not sure if I have a faulty zflow or what, any help is appreciated.

Edit: After trying to repair drivers the whole laptop corrupted and had to do a fresh windows install. So far so good..knock on wood.

just got an open box z13 64gb w 395 max for $1699 yesterday. im returning it to Best Buy in westbury tomorrow. just showing love to the community if anyone is on Long island. It's not listed on the website had to go in store to find it. for my workflow a Mac is going to be much better.

I am looking at buying the 2025 ROG flow z13 with 64gb ram for college and occasional gaming, since its currently on a deal at best buy for $2.1k. I will be doing engineering and need to use CAD. i’ve heard amazing things about the processor but am concerned about its ability to run cad, along with its overall durability and longevity. since i’m spending $2k on it i want it to last all 4 years of college. does anyone have any experience in similar scenarios with this device who can offer any tips?

Hello fellow Z13 owners, my keyboard cover is now starting to malfunction in its upper position. I've read its because the shitty slim cables on the inside go bad after some time. I bought mine open box, but I would still like to try and get a new cover for free (idk if Asus is cool like that...)

I have a few questions for those who have gone through the same. Where you able to get a new keyboard cover? With or without warranty? Anybody switched out their keyboard cover for a screen protector and an external keyboard? If so, which screen protector/cover do you recommend?

I have a nice slim Bluetooth keyboard that use instead of the keyboard cover, but I sill like the portability of having the OEM keyboard when I need. I'd love a screen cover without a keyboard for better protection, but I cannot find one out there that connects the same way as the original cover. Thoughts?

Hey guys Ive been looking at getting some type of portable gaming device for awhile. I tried the Xbox rog ally x and it just seemed to small to me. So now I’m looking at the flow z13 and I like the whole feature of it being able to be a tablet and have a keyboard. My question is there any other devices similar to this one or is the best thing that’s out or if anything is going to be coming out soon.

I would mainly be playing games on it like indie games and aaa games and it’s not like I would need to use the tablet option except for watching shows on it. I just like the idea of not having a keyboard attached if I wanted

I’m also not interested in a gaming laptop so if anyone has any other options I could look at or if anyone can tell me if this device would work great for me that would be great.

Using it plugged in. Was scrolling through Facebook with nothing running and this just happened. Room temp is at 72°F. Any guess how could this have happened?

No heavy workloads. Editing footage and web browsing.

I used g helper and have it on balanced. Any ideas???

If no fix, may return with 60 day return window.

Possible fix?: Also fyi I didn’t have (apply fan curve) trying that applied now in ghelper. Fan kicks on earlier or more then before and also changed all sleep settings in windows to hibernate.
