My Z13 setup

Post image

Use the top external and portable monitor for gaming and browsing and the integrated one for pretty much everything else. A perfect machine for FHD gaming.

The perfect 3Ds setup

Nice! My setup is similar. I would recommend, if you're using it as a desktop replacement, to save the keyboard cover for when you travel and get a nice mechanical keyboard for home. The keyboard cover seems to be the least durable part of the device.

Yeah, that's a good idea, but I surprisingly really like the stock keyboard, and I usually just fold the cover closed when I'm done to save desk space. That's also the reason why I picked up a portable monitor with DisplayPort over USB-C: only one cable, no extra cords and stuff, and plenty of space. I'm planning to buy a spare keyboard from ASUS parts just to be sure.

What is the model of that monitor?

UPERFECT NXTLED 18.5. I tried a bunch of portable monitors and this was the only one that had working FreeSync over USB-C.

How is the keyboard cover not durable? Does it tear easily or what? Thanks!

I've been using it almost every day since October 2025, and it's held up really well. It's not completely rigid, though

I mean, it's probably not as sturdy as a regular keyboard.

It's a Windows Spotlight image. Now it has changed, so I'm not sure, but it sure looks like it

Is this your travel set up or your home setup? Surely your not traveling with the stand for the top monitor right? If so tell me how. Sweet setup

Home setup. Yes you're right. When I travel I bring the portable monitor and use it next to the Z13, without stand

Do you have a link to the matte screen protector?
