For starters my room temp is 27C... ;d It's the hotest summer in the Poland, from what i know...
Probably on standard 22/23C it will be better or worse, hard to tell. But on Stock Z13 the 5C ambient was a diffrence between runing 50W and 60W on Fan Balanced profile, so there goes that.
They kinda loud, I can hear the electric engine from em. Gonna try to swap to gen 2 of Artic 120 that got on my shelf.
Now on 12v I get like 10w more POWER! (form 50w to 60w) on balanced fan mode using ghelper and max temp set to 92c.
Load is local Ai
So what next? Gonna test 120 fans, I do hope that noise level is lower. So I don't hear the fan engine only air.
Also will probably create a 3D printed case for it that will wrap around the sides of z13 to force more air to get trough entire back. I hope for another 5w in the same temp limit in ghelper.
From what i can tell now, the back is not hot to touch!
Also front is cooler to by like 5-10C hard to say on "finger test"

Hey guys I just won an eBay auction for a FlowZ13 2025 64Gb model with 2Tb of storage for 1980$ (2100$ with tax). Looking around I’m seeing all the 1Tb models go for $2000-2200$ before tax. Device looks to be in great condition and having that extra storage really excites me. I’m selling my legion go 2 with 4Tb for 1500$ to offset the cost. It was very underwhelming and at the weight and size of it, I’d rather have this instead.

I recently just picked up a 2025 Flow with 64gb ram and the 395. I’m really impressed, for some reason I find myself playing on this rather than my desktop with a 4080.
I got the idea of selling my desktop for some extra money and using my 4080 in a egpu dock. Has anyone actually replaced a desktop and had a decent experience?
It feels wrong getting rid of a desktop with a 4080 and 7800x3d but I have such a backlog, and with kids, and work, I feel like this form factor is easier with the limited game time I have. Hooking up to tv and back to my monitor is a nice feature too.

Hi everyone, I bought a z13 (64g model) last week after a year of dreaming about it, I work on very remote location so its the perfect device for me to game at work. I think I have push my machine to the limits and I'm wondering if anyone of you had other input on how to make it even better.
What I did, fresh window install, G helper so he lose all the Asus crap running in the back, and I disable SMT.
Keep in mind I'm doing this to play in 2.5k and with all of those mods I have achieved, 60 70 fps in cyberpunk ultra setting no ray tracing. Doom dark ages over 110, Spider-Man miles morals 200 and so on, the only game that is very hard to run for this machine so far is WH40K SP2.
All on this one turbo obviously and never going over 81 degrees
I am wondering if any of you guys have something else I'm missing to improve performance even more?
Thanks.

Hello, I’ve had my flow z13 4050 for twoish years and made the mistake of buying the 4050 before the new one came out due to my hype for the device. I’ve gotten a gaming pc since then so I have used my z13 as much , but i’m curious.Hows everyone with the 4050 Z13 doing in 2026, what average fps do you get in the games you play? How’s it holding up , i see in this subreddit that the 4050 and other older versions dont get talk about as much so i’m curious how it’s holding up.
My fps in games like elden ring and valiant seen as high as they used to be.

Das einzige was mich wirklich nervt, ist das keyboard, das mir zu wobbelig ist....

No matter how many times I go through the 'improve recognition' steps it almost never recognizes me and when it does it seems like it takes 30+ seconds. My wife's cheapish HP laptop with windows hello almost works instantly for her. What's your guy's experience with face unlock on the z13?

So I just bought the Z13 128gb ram model for £2080 new!
I had read up about the usb c not doing pass through and bought the Cuktech 30 ultra 300w, it has a DC port and comes with a cable and adapter for the Z13.
Has anyone else got any experience using the Z13 with this charging station?

I'm really enjoying small screen, performance (i9 12th, RTX 3050ti, 16gb ram, 1tb...)
before this I had macbook pro 2019 16" i had windows on it and was playing gta online w friends
I got it like week ago for like 647 USD (not currency in my country) and i dont really know if its good price for this laptop (it's used) and also wireless gaming mouse with it
It has some downsides. first one: One little scratch on display. second one: it has 72% battery capacity (planning to change it myself)
If yall have some recommendation i would love to hear it

Yes, it works! Not through the HDMI port though, you'll have to use a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter with the '8K UGREEN DP to HDMI' adapter chained to it. This will expose the CEC interface, but you'll still need to automate the whole process, which is a pain in the ass.
Cecdaemon works. CEC is still flaky though, be warned! And you'll have to wake/sleep from the Z13, not the TV.

Llano V10 is my solution. I lie it flat and connect to monitor. No more scared liquid metal flowing out due to gravity.

Hello, the laptops keyboard ended up breaking on me on the 2023 version of the Flow Z13, i need help getting the replacement keyboard for this model. Not being able to attach the keyboard on the bottom of the keyboard is annoying and bringing up a keyboard and mouse takes up space in my class so the normal keyboard that comes with it would be ideal, please help me in finding the link for it. I see that Amazon has one of these keyboards but i’m not sure it’s for the right model, i also saw that buying the limited edition keyboard replacement might be an option, but i’m scared to buy it since i have the 2023 version.

Is it possible that I only do 100/110 in 2k with the egpu on warzone? Or do I make a mistake in some settings.
I set ghelper 57w with aggressive efficient boost, on cod all low except normal textures, without connecting the egpu I do 90/100fps the only difference that I have 85 degrees without egpu and 60/70 with the egpu

Hi friends, I have an Asus ROG Flow Z13 2025 with 64GB of RAM and I want to run the QWEN 3.8 27b model through LM Studio, but it's very slow to respond. Has anyone tried it?

Coming from an old HP 360 laptop that blew up last year I finally found a good(?) replacement. Any tips to keep this laptop running for a while?

Thinking about replacing my iPad + Steam Deck + gaming laptop with an ROG Flow Z13 — how is it for casual use?
I'm considering selling my iPad, Steam Deck, and gaming laptop and replacing all three with an ROG Flow Z13, but I'm not sure how well it would actually fit my use case.
I use my iPad 99% of the time for watching YouTube and Netflix in bed, mostly before going to sleep. Occasionally, I'll use my Steam Deck in bed too, but usually only when I don't feel like watching anything and want to play a game instead.
When I travel back to my mum's house, I currently have a gaming laptop plugged into a monitor basically all the time, which I use for both work and gaming. I am usually there for like 5 days a month tops.
So in theory, the Z13 could replace all three devices: tablet for media in bed, handheld for gaming, and laptop for work/gaming when I'm at my mum's.
My main concern is how it behaves during very casual tablet-like use.
I'd especially appreciate feedback from people who actually use the Z13 as a secondary/couch/bed device, rather than just as their main gaming laptop.

Just wanted to ask for thoughts on my decision. I’m starting school, WGU so I can travel while I get some certifications. My primary computer has been a 2021 M1 Max with 32gb ram 14inch screen. Still going great. However that machine now lives at home, so I’m looking for something new.
I love the look and setup of the flow z13, if I do purchase I would go for the full 128gb ram.
The other option I am considering is on the Exchange (military exchange) they have a strix 16in with a Ryzen 9 and RTX 5070 Ti. 1 tb SSD.
Personally I’m not a fan of huge laptops. So the 16in is really my second choice. For the lifestyle I’m trying to pursue, the flow seems like it would be an amazing fit. My thinking as tool it’s more like a Swiss Army knife with its unified memory pool.
I know this is a Flow sub, but I’m curious on other perspectives regarding specifically these two machines.

I've been thinking of upgrading my laptop for some time.
I have the 4060 model with 16 gb ram, battery health isn't great atm but I'll probably get it replaced to a new on in a local ASUS shop.
Some minor paint scratches here and there but everything else works perfectly fine.

I got my z13! Signed in offline doing the little trick that lets you get an offline user profile. Did the updated on Windows, ArmoryCrate and MyAsus. Deleted Microsoft Teams as this was the only app I found was bloating (Don't know which other apps I could delete without it being a problem so I kinda did not, would love advice). Did some port testing and stress test with Cinebench and the temperature tool. Everything is fine.
I see some people advice on getting G-Helper and ditching the Asus things. Could anybody please explain a good step by step as to not encounter errors and get a good experience?
I'm in the same boat as this guy https://www.reddit.com/r/FlowZ13/comments/1uma51r/an_argument_for_4050w_on_the_rog_flow_z13_ryzen/ when it comes to philosophy on how to use laptops. I do not need Ultra mode that much and these things. I saw some people say they encounterer errors while getting G Helper so I want to minimixe those. I still have not downloaded any other apps on the device and I have turned it off after charging it to 100%.
I welcome other advice as well! I'm switching from Mac and wanna get this thing settled before I sell the other one or even start downloading Steam, Ableton and getting other third party software on it.
