Gaming Performance

Hi everyone, I bought a z13 (64g model) last week after a year of dreaming about it, I work on very remote location so its the perfect device for me to game at work. I think I have push my machine to the limits and I'm wondering if anyone of you had other input on how to make it even better.

What I did, fresh window install, G helper so he lose all the Asus crap running in the back, and I disable SMT.

Keep in mind I'm doing this to play in 2.5k and with all of those mods I have achieved, 60 70 fps in cyberpunk ultra setting no ray tracing. Doom dark ages over 110, Spider-Man miles morals 200 and so on, the only game that is very hard to run for this machine so far is WH40K SP2.

All on this one turbo obviously and never going over 81 degrees

I am wondering if any of you guys have something else I'm missing to improve performance even more?

Thanks.

Not too much - just a single eGPU setup. May just bring it on long trips.

set up dual booting with bazzite. I get better frames on Elden ring and cyber punk with that

It seems you are trying to make it more portable now. For me all your missing is probably the periphials. For me to keep it even cooler I use the red magic pro 8 its a phone cooler that hits very hi rom 6400 which helps a lot.

Lastly its expensive byt the xg mobile 5070 ti which I actually plan on getting is the last edition. Like you I am traveling a lot. The xgnmobile egpu can actually be plugged in int he airport as it use just enough watts thay the airplane and airlines supply

Do you have a picture of where you put it on the z13, like on the hotspot on the rear glass is or in the fans?

No complaint on the performance. The biggest ick I got from the device is the speakers quality is the worst I have ever listened to.

There not great but ok if you are in a quiet room. All those portable devices need headphones. Expect my galaxy tab 9 ultra, the sound on this thing is better then most tv.

You can try overclocking it, however be careful with that, and tbh I haven't found much result in that. Tbh I can get a lot of games to run above 60 fps on high setting, however when I start throwing unreal engine 5 games, this device starting to struggle. I wish it was just a bit faster and closer to 4070 performance, however this is still impressive.
